Edon takes a shot and reloads.

Edon draws his crossbow slowly and carefully reloads it.

Edon takes a step back and starts gathering power for a spell. He confidently runs through the full process in his head.

Ready to grease the melee weapon of the first thing to attack us in melee.

"Why would they want to bring down the tower? We haven't found anything that interesting and we might have explored everywhere now," say Edon looking down at the body while detecting magic in the room.

We are all fine.

"Well done Corin."

Edon creates some lights and follows someone down the corridor.

" Can we throw something heavy to top of it to trigger it. The royal we," says Edon staying back from the second barrier.

Edon wakes with a shudder and wonders why he is on the floor for a second, "Thanks for the help, my brothers made this seem much safer."

Importantly as his precious blood leaves his body Edon had successfully climbed.

We still don't have a frontline right?

Edon takes his time getting over the barricades. Slow and steady wins the race when all your competition lives in a library.

"Let's get the rest of the party and get back to the ruins."

"If you could heal Corin here and we'll take the healing wand. The restoration is a little beyond our current means," says Edon happily.

Once the healing is done Edon recommends meeting with Gwibble and having a second crack at the ruins.

"Yes we can cover that, in fact we have enough for a little extra. Could we also have a wand of magical healing? While we are getting this all sorted could you tell us more about this lovely temple?" says Edon politely. Edon is going to spend some time chatting with the priest. Never hurts to make friends with the person who will be putting us back together.

Edon accompanies Corin to the temple. "Good morning, my friend here is in need of some assistance," says Edon cheerily.

"Still missing a few pages of your book Corin? I thought a good night of sleep and some food would have set you right," says Edon as he pours some tea and gets started on his porridge.
Leaving some time to really savour a second helping of porridge Edon chips in, "Maybe we can find someone who has a more hands on approach to problem solving while we are out." Edon looks around at the little group of adventurers and guesses that in a proper fist fight the small amphibian would come out on top.

With a team made up of an archer, three casters, plus a bard a melee beefcake might be nice. I don't mind swapping to something if we can't find someone new.

"You have been a great help already, I vote yes to you joining us. Anyone vote no?" says Edon.

"I don't think we should be giving a fox whiskey," say Edon quietly to no one in particular before replying to Corin, "We didn't do half bad for a first try not bad at all." Edon doesn't go into exactly how much they made and what they got as an unsavory person could live for a long time off the amount of loot they got from the ruins.

"We came here originally under different circumstances but currently we are investigating the Witch Tower on behalf of the Baroness. As you saw the abandoned ruins weren't as abandoned as we initially thought. After a good rest we might be going back to have a second look around," replies Edon.

You normally pay for the bottle before pouring drinks.

"Everyone leaving gives us an air of mystery, it will add to our story. I'll take a large beer and an even larger bowl of whatever food you have as long as it is full of meat and vegetables. Plus a drink for the fox and the lady," says Edon as he sits down in a chair as close to the fire as possible. Edon appears to be in much better spirits now than no one is dying and that food is on the horizon. He gives his clothes a quick dust before shaking his head and cleaning himself magically.

”I think we need to go inside for a drink. We owe you one at least. What do foxes drink by the way?” says Edon cheerily as he walks towards the inn before continuing, ”If dashing over to heal my injured friend is rude then maybe we need a few more rude priests.”

Edon initially jumps to stop the woman for touching the bard. As expected Edon fails to put up any fight. Almost instantly Edon notices what she is actually doing, relaxing he puts his hands back down at his sides.

"Thank you for that, I'm sure Corin will be most thankful once he wakes up. I am Edon Merr of the Merr family. The gentleman you just healed is Corin. This fellow here is Gwibble. A pleasure to meet you, and your name is?" says Edon without a gap to get a word in edgeways. Now that Corin is better Edon seems in a much better mood.

"Some of us need it a lot more than others," says Edon looking worriedly at the injured bard. Edon enters the inn and looks for some staff with the intention of getting a room.

I'm pretty sure that they have actually under spent on a 15 point buy.
I get it as a 14 point buy. Keen Kitsune are +Int +Dex -Str. In fox form they can be 8 16 14 17 13 8.

That was top of my list too, Liam what do we all get after buying a wand?

How are we dividing that loot? Basically how much each do we have to spend?

Edon whistles at the rest of the party that are keeping quiet before raising his voice a little, ”If we can get these chests out could you carry them up?” Edon thinks for a moment before continuing to speak at his normal volume and before he gets an answer, “There could be something in those chests to help our bard. These chests are too well hidden and protected to be useless.”

I hope...

"Having to come back could be troublesome, could we load up Corrin on your companion in case we need to leave quickly?" asks Edon.

"I have the things to camp here but it may be best to get Corin some help," says Edon still looking down at the unconscious Bard.

Are we going to pick up a fourth or a premade? The players left lack a little bit of healing.

"Can anyone get him on his feet? My magical talents don't help in this regard," says Edon slightly less nervously now that he knows the bard isn't going to die right away.

"Is he alive?" asks Edon looking worried. Edon stands over the bard and kneads his hands together.

"Did you find one or two knives Corin?" asks Edon as he looks at the slots in the floor.

Edon sees that things are bad and focuses on the future. As he reloads he sees an opening, waiting until just the right moment Edon takes a second shot.

If the beak hits shouldn't my crossbow also hit? It was two higher and includes the shooting into combat negatives.

Edon not wanting to get any closer moves into position to take a shot. He concentrates and starts to look into the immediate future. Once Edon sees an opening in the combat he takes the shot.

"Something is coming, get ready," shouts Edon as he draws his crossbow.

Edon keeps an eye on the way out while the rest of the adventurers look over the chests.

"Looks safe to me," says Edon after a long silence.

Sorry I am alive. I got a lot less internet at Contingency than I expected.

"Good Baron Sarvo wills it, says Edon clearly in his best Taldan accent.

"Can we tell what is an illusion? asks Edon scanning the area with detect magic while looking out for traps.

"We should try the keys first," says Edon working his way through the key ring.

Edon steps away from the door as it opens.

"Does the door look okay to everyone?" asks Edon.

Edon waits for everyone to cross over.

Edon looks over the door while people catch up.

Taking his time Edon goes slowly across the ledge.

"Where should we use the passphrase and what does it allow us to avoid?" asks Edon looking through the secret door.

"We could take a look at those daggers if you need help," says Edon seeing the daggers for the first time.
