A hitch on the bone as he withdraws the blade, a small flourish, a second to reset his feet, it all adds up to give his target enough time to turn a fraction. Duncan's follow up scrapes along the kobold's leather, but a yelp from his friend as it takes a slice from Emoubu's cut provides a timely distraction. Duncan's blade sinks into green's stomach leaving a second devastating injury, but the kobold holds on to life by a thread. ![]()
