We wanted to get the info out about the physical show so the Org Play team could put out a Call to Vol. We know there's still lots of information we need to share, so watch for an update blog, I expect it to go live in the next 2 weeks. Will the follow-up blog be soon? We'd like to figure out our hotel room. I was trying to figure that out too, and the Hotel was less than helpful

For Florida, we have plenty of work in our region. I don’t see this changing anything here, and the cross Region ties between Ga and Fl willl continue.

Amazing, the rules are not out and a few are saying no. That’s ok, we have a seat at the tables for you anyway. I am excited to see fixes to so many things.
Paizo consistently amazes me with the stories and the new wrinkles on a game I have been playing my whole adult life.
Keep dishing it out guys! I am excited!

There is no "double standard" when it comes to Online Play - and there is, and should not be, any special rules for Online Play when it comes to proving ownership for material and providing GM the necessary references for materials used.
(Snip)
The above methods should all be exhausted before this option is used, and a GM can chose not to accept this if they so choose not to allow it as proof in the same way as physically presenting the book(s).
All the above was...
Done! Great post. Now witness the power of a fully armed and operational Regional Venture Captain!
A VC can also work with players to provide duplicate receipts. As a backup, look for a players name to be written indelibly on the inside cover. A FLGS can also certify purchases if you ask.
The Atlanta lodge are a great group, They are certainly not the exception for PFS lodges. I hope the new year is a great one for new starts for you. Now roll some 20s!

That's really all I have to say.
Hmm
In space nobody can hear you punt gnomes!
I am looking forward to this!
This year was a blast! Looking forward to a great year of cards!
My deck is already set up, and I played her on my off shifts at Gen Con!
Kevin and I are reading, without contributing, so we can understand what people saw.
I want to make sure that it was made clear, the photocopied cards on the table were from Kevin and me.
The photocopy use on the table was to prevent proxy sheets that would have been confusing and slow. The copies didn't look good, but there was not much time to swap cards, read a proxy sheet, and play.
We made a choice to speed play.
If you have questions for me, please PM here.
(back to your comments, we are learning a lot from you, as it should be)
I got two copies at Gencon!
I would love to see what people had to say about our little corner of the Sag. I know I have my ideas and thoughts, but I don't want to Lead the Witness.
I will say thanks to everyone who came and worked, and the players who came and enjoyed themselves. We have a great community!
Since the Pure Legion has a diplomacy check to defeat, it seems that they don't do much if they catch you anyway!
Wow! That's service! I will see you all at Gencon.
I parsed it differently. Maybe this is FAQ worthy?
So this appears in the 3-4A text:
"At the start of your turn, you may recharge from your hand or bury from your discard pile any number of cards that have the Divine trait, then roll 1d6. If the result is less than the total number of cards that have the Divine trait in your hand and discard pile, summon and encounter the henchman Pure Legion Enforcer."
Summoned henchman doesn't let you close. It seems to be silly.
Why would you want to do this? Even for cycling your hands it's seems weird.

The Oakland VO crew is who you really want ask to get the official answer. I assure you there is no Venture Flogging for an honest mistake. We stopped doing that after morale improved.
I am such a junkie for far future RPGs!
Jason Wu wrote: If you look at the list of names of active volunteers in PFS, it looks an awful lot like the list from LG. If you look at the list of Paizo staff, you will notice a lot from some other game company that was creating content for a famous RPG company during that era.
You are right, there are more than a few Triad members, organizers, and other leaders who are VOs and players in PFS.
I am hoping for more gaming, and another new campaign is not a problem for me.

It's already been acted on by the Orlando, VC. The game store in question is a great supporter for the gaming community. I don't think they knew that this isn't a thing we want to do.
The bath girl could run out the back door and tell her boyfriend on the watch that there is trouble. The watch could make an appearance, investigating the problem with a fine upstanding citizen who was attacked while in the bath. A round after the festivities began, you could hear whistles in the distance, and a couple rounds later the watch arrives.
Meanwhile the bodyguards could simply clock the barbarian nonlethally, then grapple the next victim. It is untiered. An AC of 30 or so and +10 with a sap with a few sneak dice would make short work of them. By the time the watch arrives, Torch would have the more convincing story, and the watch believe such a wealthy and benevolent citizen.
The watch then confirms with Torch if everything was ok, collect a special tip, and glare at the party.

Let's just be kind to each other. Let's stop escalating.
Like a tank full of gentle cuttlefish.
I like volunteering. I love the people I meet. I enjoy my hobby. We don't need to fight to enjoy this hobby.
This is a real non issue in society play.
It is 1PA to clear most conditions, and the larger one is cleared by Pathfinder Society clerical staff for 2PA. Just don't ask them to get coffee.

At this rate we will have to install more frozen drink blenders!

Almost every day i get an email or a text from another fan who enjoys my game. Occasionally I get a chance to play, mostly I get requests to help make a character, questions about the game coming up, interested folks, or even just someone expressing enthusiasm. Its hard to not burn out aftering entering year 8 of the campaign that I have been playing from before the PFRPG was released. PFS bucks thoser odds every year. I am so excited for year 8, like I was for year 0.
Why is PFS still shiny to me? There are people who see what I see, enjoy what I enjoy, and this energizes me. Teaching a new player how PFS does things and why is pleasing to me, like good deeds are meat and drink to a paladin. Seeing Sunday morning everyone tired and exhausted after a weekend at a convention, but digging out dice for one last slot is great. Organized play has always been good, where you meet as strangers at the table, and have a good story or a good time (or at least one of those!)
This differed from other campaigns because we know that it starts from the top. I have seen Lisa cleaning the Paizo booth at Gencon, Eric Mona individually making sure a fan sees what they want to play, Vic standing at the card demo area, Tonya (and Mike before her) diving headfirst with open hands into managing all the "special flowers" in organized play. I have never seen an author tire of signing one more book, and talking to one more fan.
They do it because they are fans of our shared hobby, and even though they make a career of it, it almost seems like a vocation to the staff. Scenarios are professionally produced, tie into meta-plots, and even if they are always not our cup of tea, someone likes every one of them.
There are people who don't like the organized play concept, and that's well and good. There are some people who hold great home games, and others who don't. I understand not liking a campaign where there are a lot of player changes. That has little to do with how this campaign is done. Some don't like the breadth of material from Pathfinder, that's fine too, there are a lot of RPGs to choose from.
I have a great shared experience with my friends and with strangers. We may discuss how to make a paladin better, or how to best use a Grippli boon. We may have high concepts or min/max monstrosities. We still have a nice chat about a game we love, and what book has the right mix of "fromage" and role appropriate concept to make a fun character.
Thanks to the Paizo staff current and former for building a greater place to play. I am looking forward to being named Venture Officer of my retirement home in 20 years. "Nurse, I need my dentures, and my dice, dammit!"

Bob sells Folio to Charlie for 10 dollars. Charlie sells it back to Bob for 10 dollars. They scribble each other receipts. Alice says "all purchases in this venue are valid"
Bob and Charlie now have one free healing on request.
Not a retail venue. Please, we want nice things. This is a good benefit for the stores. This isn't a cheese whiz thing.
Let me point out any purchase, even those purchases of board games, books, sausages, Cheetos, and soda. The benefit is there no matter what you buy.
Thanks so much for the chance to bring a great game to new people. There were more than a few who went from the Dealer hall to play up at the Sagamore.
Best of luck in nursing school.

As we say at the table, "yeah-yuh!"
Nice! It adds a lot to have a snazzy pawn.

E: oops.
I trust players, but when it becomes a problem where people are having a bad time because someone is bending, abusing, breaking, or cheating, I find a way to make the table the fun. SOmetimes its just a word or two.
A 4th on a low table for example. Many people react ok to me saying, "they got this" to the higher level player.

The question was answered. Can't buy a lead lined item. Actually the question has not been answered, but the general consensus is no or check with your gm but no official call has been made. It is not listed in allowable resources. That is the official word.
The allowable resources also does not list pygmy ponies, or zirconium encrusted tweezers. They also do not exist in PFS, officially.
Holy cow. My true Scotsman has a lead lined kilt.
The question was answered. Can't buy a lead lined item.
As an engineer that worked in the field of remote detection, a physics topic like something blocking a signal or not has nothing to do with a fantasy game where I can buy a magic decapitating sword.
It's the chronicle that has to be core, but the game can still use any AP rule you like
Its a go, Warhorn is open!
