Male Human (Keleshite) Druid (Saurian Shaman) 4 [ HP 31/31 | AC 21/T12/FF19 | Fort +5, Ref +3, Will +6 | Init +4 | Perception +9 ]

I haven't gotten the free rpg day boon, either. Thanks for running this, GM!

Darvan doesn't have a day job :-)

Darvan drops his shillelagh and flees the baying of the hound in sheer terror!

Full-round action: Run away! Run away!
Guessing this pretty much means Darvan and Sahba are out for the remainder of the encounter, since it'll be 6 rounds out and 6 back, at least...

The statue taken care of, Darvan turns to the warding circles and aids in Hamith's efforts.

Action: Attack purple circle (haste)
Damage (Shillelagh, Power Attack): 2d6 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (4, 4) + 5 + 2 = 15
Damage (Shillelagh, Power Attack): 2d6 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (1, 2) + 5 + 2 = 10

Refreshed by the breeze, he still thinks it best to take a moment to heal further. He taps himself and Sahba with his wand, which completes the healing process.

Cure Light Wounds (Darvan): 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Cure Light Wounds (Sahba): 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

I assume that Darvan's shillelagh is no more?

Healing (Darvan): 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

Darvan will recover his use of wild shape, as well as shillelagh and one casting of barkskin.

Darvan tried as well, though with it being a straight Wisdom check, he'd certainly let someone else make the attempt in his stead.

Does Darvan not being shaken mean he initially made the Will save? In case that's not the case, and not knowing the DC's, I'll throw the saves out there again.

Will Save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
Fort Save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

Darvan orders Sahba to flank the other statue, then moves forward and continues his assault, swinging his near-broken shillelagh again.

Free action: Order Sahba to flank the other statue

Standard action: Attack statue
Attack (Shillelagh, Haste, Power Attack): 1d20 + 8 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (17) + 8 + 1 - 1 = 25

Darvan finds himself continuing to be shaken by the aura surrounding the guardians, but, seeing Sahba's ineffectual attacks, he orders her to flank one of the guardians and manages to step forward and swing his shillelagh to good effect.

Free action: Order Sahba to flank the guardian

Darvan takes a few moments and heals himself and Sahba with his own wand (thanks for the offer though, Graxzos), then casts a spell to enhance his own and Sahba's protection (casts barkskin on himself and Sahba - +2 enhancement bonus to natural armor for each).

Personally, I wasn't particularly keen on posting a ton of actions until I knew what was most likely to be helpful, and didn't expect it to take two days to get a response.

Also, Hamith has rolled damage - please update the thread with the results.

Darvan nods to Anduris. "Either one would be helpful; it seems our best bet would be to break the chains at the top. Anyone here that has adamantine, or otherwise large and damaging, weapons should get up there fastest. I can create a shillelagh if needed, and will have my wand to heal anyone that requires it."

Darvan will climb Anduris' chain (unless his shillelagh has the best chance of breaking the chain).

Darvan realizes that he won't be able to cross the water - he will be much too slow given his armor and lack of skill - so he opts to change his form. His body quickly melts and flows into a new shape, that of a constrictor snake. He then swiftly slithers across the water to end up near the mist.

Ah, I read the italicized portion to mean that, if someone the companion is threatening provokes, it would always use that opportunity to attack. I would have expected it to say "it always provokes attacks of opportunity", since that's the language that is used elsewhere. Either way, if your judgement is that Sahba provokes, so be it.

@GM - Sorry, never saw that documented anywhere, so I figured that there would be a natural sense of self-preservation that would be at work in positioning, especially for a smaller creature like a velociraptor.

Darvan is generally more comfortable in the company of plants and animals than that of people; as a result, he is often seen as taciturn, if not rude. That said, he does dote a bit on his velociraptor companion, Sahba, being sure to regularly scratch her eye ridges and making sure she's well cared for.

In combat, he will generally wield his scimitar and shield, but if he has enough time to prepare he would consider using his totem transformation to gain natural attacks, or perhaps casting shillelagh on his club. With level 4 arriving shortly, he would potentially avail himself of a wild shape if needed, but that wouldn't be nearly as beneficial for combat as it will be in a couple of levels.

He will generally order Sahba to flank as he wades into the fray, significantly slower than the small dinosaur.
