I do have to agree that under the GMs direction and prompting this game had taken a turn for the worse. Corey is more out of his element now that the mayors manor has turned into a poisoned slaughterhouse...and if the original Tristain were still here, we'd probably agree that Jimmy would be an issue for everyone.
Ive had fun to a point, but as the GM was railroading in unlikely directions and such...perhaps it is best we leave this as it is.
I made a recruitment thread for a new GM, and I hope we'll find someone.
I'd also like to raise another issue:
William's currently not able to post a lot, but I hope he'll return... Though with Tristain kicked out by CC I feel like we're a person short...?
So you got word that CC is gone? Any specific share-able reason why?

As does everyone else, myself included until recently. I hate being a rules lawyer, but when it comes up in PFS and rules must be followed as written I prefer to share the knowledge...also checking back into the d20srd, the same applied in 3.5 so it isn't a new rule just one we have all ignored or never noticed.

So you think essentially this place is now a total death trap for us? These dead hellknights, plus us missing makes us the obvious guilty persons. We are here as ourselves...even if we find what we hope to we will have to REALLY escape and disappear....im more inclined to try and fake our way out of murdering 3 hellknights and fighting an escape out if that fails since there is a chance to get out of this, than i am of disappearing after an abscentee conviction and them launching a man hunt for armed and dangerous actors...

As we work, If we go on about now and this room is discovered in our absence we will be automatically guilty. If we stay, perhaps the Hellknights may be convinced to leave...this party was meant to continue for days...perhaps the Lord-Mayor will care to celebrate his survival against assassins. Plus I had to walk William outside the compound to keep the Hellknights from over reacting to us, trying to keep them away...fat lot of good THAT did..

Whispering We need an excuse for them to attack us...i think robbery and assasination are good reasons. Corey will drape his body over the mayor and look at Tristain Stab through me into the mayor with that Hellknights blade, try not to hit anything vital...I will start screaming and you will have just finished fending off our attackers/assassins as I protected the drugged mayor. Be ready to lie your asses off. Oh and make sure theblade is in his hand.
Lastly Corey will cast Innocence on himself.

The trip works, but alas it provokes an AoO. (Unless you have improved trip or I'm missing something...)
Using my whip I have a reach of 15', I'd be out of range from provoking the AoO. That is why I'd move closer IF he fell but not otherwise. The easiest damage to heal is the damage you never take...I don't put myself at risk unless I must.

Why in the hell would we try or think about freeing the slaves?
It would cause more problems then it could help. At thispoint no slaves asked to be freed...we may technically be freedom fighters in character but none of us are Andoran.
We are here simply to try and gain access to the Asmodean knot and get out alive again. We arent trying to over complicate things.
In walking William out, i was try to prevent the need for the hellknights while having some ideas to get him back in....instead they are there inside 1 minute it seems.
Perhaps some GM cut scenes would have helped us come up with your ideas but since we are a full party of 90% role play characters and not combat monsters, we really arent all about randomly attacking hellknights.

My Lord Mayor, I haven't a clue as to anyone else's intentions tonight but i can assure you that fully intend to partake in any debauchery planned, just as in the play. Thank you my Lord. It was a pleasure to play Larazod, but it couldnt have been success without the others on stage. Phaedra was phenomenal while Thesling was only a passable Magistrate....he actually had to try and kill me, just to bring some life to his role.

Now tomorrow evening is going to be intetesting. People are going to want to see us, talk with us too...probably. So we do need to make our presence obvious. GM is insinuating that now is a time to talk about Nights Bane even though it makes zero sense in character to do so since that is secret.
The entire point for us doing the play is to go to the after party and snoop around. Unfortunately cant do that if we are branded as crazy people or radicals....
