Female Aasimar Paladin/Inquisitor
So, just letting you know, I have to work a double tomorrow, a double Friday, a double Saturday, I'm off Sunday but have my RL D&D game and will be catching up on sleep. I work 1 shift on Monday (my other day off) and a double on Tuesday. After that I should work fairly normal schedules, so my posting will be sporadic but I will try to keep RP things moving. Feel free to do all of Constance's other posts if need be, ie rolls, Combat etc.

"Well, the Mite's are truly evil, so they should be handled. Plus we can get some fangberries. And more Mite dead will prove our sincerity to the kobolds. Towards the Mites then." Constance sees no point in arguing with the group, she only worries about making sure they get back to Oleg's before the first day of the month.

I say now that we have the Mite bodies we were looking for, maybe we should take one ore two as a bargaining chip for the kobolds, as were our original plans. I figure we will find out more about bandits and brigands when they come to us at Olegs on the first of the month as opposed to tromping through the forest looking for them.

Bah, post just got eaten. So, once again, I apologize for the slow posting, had to do some OT and have more tomorrow. Constance uses Judgment: Healing as a swift action. She then uses another swift action as opposed to a move action to Smite Evil on the Mite adjacent to her. Smite Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
Fort Save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 Hehe, Nat 1 and Nat 20 in same post.
Female Aasimar Paladin/Inquisitor
May as well "Wake up!!! Attackers from the East and North! Looks like the Mites are coming to us!" Constance tries to rally the sleeping troops and coordinate the defense. Her commands loud and clear, show no sign of weakness, or the fact that she was sound asleep only 15 seconds before. Initiative: 1d20 ⇒ 6 Constance moves 3 hexes left and 3 hexes up to take up a defensive position between the mites and her sleeping companions.
Female Aasimar Paladin/Inquisitor
Constance jumps out of her bedroll and into a defensive position, jerking her sword out of it's scabbard. The scabbard has been in her hands as she tries to remain prepared and vigilant in such uncertain times. She starts to feel stupid, hoping no one saw her when she realizes maybe she did hear something, as Caelin is fixed attently on something coming from the east. Constance grabs her shield as well and makes her way towards Caelin and the others standing watch. "What's going on?" she whispers in a hushed tone. She stares in the darkness as she awaits a response from Caelin. Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28 Wow, could she be any more perceptive? Even coming out of a dead sleep lol. Oh yeah, Darkvision as well lol.
Female Aasimar Paladin/Inquisitor
"Yeah, the three of you can take the first watch... It will take that many of you to handle as much trouble as me by myself. Wake me up in a few hours and I'll handle the middle watch." Constance smiles at each of the three in passing knowing that she ruffled a few feathers. She sets up her bedroll, picking a nice dry area, and begins searching for dry wood for a fire. Survival Check to find firewood and maybe some edible fruit. 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24
Female Aasimar Paladin/Inquisitor
Constance looks back to the other members of her party, speaking quietly so Bokken can not hear her. "This may be a lost cause, following any information give by this man might prove more harmful than helpful. We have general direction as to where the mites are located. I suggest we buy any supplies we may need, and be on our way. Also, let's be sure to make not of this place on our map."
Female Aasimar Paladin/Inquisitor
"Greetings and well met good Sir. The name is Constance, Constance Superne. I don't suppose by chance you are the one called Bokken? We come from Oleg's, Trading post a few hours away." Constance remains mounted and does her best to hide her concern for the mans demeanor.
Female Aasimar Paladin/Inquisitor
"Well, I've never dealt with Kobolds, but I some experience in courtly matters... if no one else wishes to do so, I'll take the lead on the negotiations." Constance ponders for a moment. "You know, maybe we should try and kill a mite or two, but not that many, to show the kobolds that we mean well. That coupled with our "gifts" should get them to at least listen to us. We can then tell them we will kill mites to show we are being sincere. Go kill a few mites and voila, new kobold friends." Constance then turns to Oleg. "I'd like to buy 5 of those trail rations and a torch if you don't mind... just in case." "And if anyone needs a ride, I have room for one more on my horse as well."
Female Aasimar Paladin/Inquisitor
Or Perception 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17 which ever is more appropriate. Not that it matters now. Then next morning Constance is up well before daybreak, decked out in full armor. It's obvious she stayed up polishing it last night. She has already been out to take care of her mount, having him fully saddled, brushed, fed, and looking as if he is ready for a parade. Constance comes back inside to meet her companions. "If we are going to make friends with the kobolds, may as well make a good first impression. We should probably also take some gifts as tokens of our appreciation for their... cooperation."

No, I just want to diplomacize/intimadicize/slayicize his kobolds.

Constance returns to the commons area, no longer in armor, but in a linen shirt and wool trousers. "Well with all this racket, I may was well stay up a while." Constance smiles openly at Caelin. "Cold as winter am I?" She shakes her head before walking over to Oleg. "Don't worry, we'll take care of those bandits... that won't be harassing you and Svetlana anymore." After a few moments of chatting with Oleg, Constance returns to Gaelen and Cailin. "You know, the Black Lion Company has a nice ring to it, but I was thinking something a little more... militant... or intimidating... maybe something like the the Regulators, or the Enforcers. Something to eventually strike fear into the hearts of bandits and mauraders everywhere. When I think of the Black Lion Company, I tend to think... well merchants and traders, not knights and warriors."

"It seems our parents were quite opposite I'm afraid. But one thing I have learned is that you can't judge a child by his parents. Each person is in control of their own destiny, it's not where you have come from, but where you choose to go that matters. I'll not judge you for where you have come from and I hope that you wouldn't judge me the same." Constance takes a sip of her cider and continues listening to the conversations that are going on.
Female Aasimar Paladin/Inquisitor
"Polson, you make a fine point, of course I do not plan on leaving right this moment, a hot meal and a good nights rest will do us some good. Besides I would love a chance to learn more about each of you since it appears we will be spending quite a bit of time together." "Gaelin, of course we can talk. Although, I refrain from alcoholic beverages, a nice warm cider would do nicely." Constance smiles warmly at each in turn, excited by the fact that she might actually be able to make a difference here.
Female Aasimar Paladin/Inquisitor
"Gaelen, I believe you misunderstand me, I call them heathens because they are uncivilized, not because they worship a different god. That would make them Pagans." Constance laughs at her little joke. "But I do not view them as Pagans, I do not expect everyone, or even anyone to believe as I do. Everyone has a right to worship."
Female Aasimar Paladin/Inquisitor
"With so many of us, I would almost suggest splitting up, However that might not be the safest thing to do." For All to read.
Spoiler:
Seeing as most of these are supposed to be done with 4 PC's and there are 10 of us, We could probably do 2 of these missions at once, assuming of course the DM is fine with it. Constance looks at Gaelen, "Kobolds are no different from any other race, aside from the fact that they uneducated, heathens. Caelin, of course I would like to have roasted boar meat and cheese, but it can wait, the bandits and kobolds can't I'm afraid."
Female Aasimar Paladin/Inquisitor
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22 Constance looks at the board and after reading all four of the posting states to everyone, but mostly Oleg and Caelin. "I think the Kobolds and Bandits should take precedence, the other two are trivial. Oleg, what can you tell me about the bandits? Have you had any experience with them firsthand? What about the Kobolds?" Constance has a concerned look as she waits for a response. Constance adds at the mention of Erastil, "While religion may not help you rebuild, I will do what I can to help you. I will never attempt to force my religion on you, or anyone else for that matter. I am no master carpenter, but I will try to help make the areq surrounding your trading post as safe for you as possible."
