![]() There is a decent chance (maybe 30%) that if we ask nicely she'll let us have them, and a small chance she'll just ignore us (maybe 1-5%) Most likely, however she'll do something either bad* or completely unpredictable (or both) *ovbious examples include commanding the undead to kill us, animating our bodies in front of us to kill us, killing us herself, or reiencarnating us again ![]()

![]() I would figure they'd still be mostly intact (though yes to the eggs) after less than 24 hours, unless some kind of large scavenger/predator got ahold of it, unlikely given the undead, unless the undead themselves had gotten ahold of it I remember reading about a mostly intact wholly mamoth body found in a swamp ![]()

![]() "that risk is there wherever we go, for the rest of our lives a caster of that tier of power could find us and kill us with the same degree of difficulty it takes you to make breakfast, and she's far from the only person alive who's that strong! but there is no point to living a life consumed by fear, I chose to live my life actively, if I die doing so then so be it, everybody dies eventually. I'm not one to waste time dithering about. I see a problem, I take action to fix that problem. and besides, you speak as though you're the only one to have fought a zombie before, healadj, my sword was made by angles to combat them and demons," ![]()

![]() "Right, the first threat is unlikely to be there, and if she is, we run, the second threat isn't an issue so long as we tackle it intelegently, running and attacking as required, personally even a single piece of my body would be enough for me, magic can restore it to a complete body, and from there options are opened, but I'd prefer enough to prevent her from reanimating my corpse, can you imagine that, having to fight the rotting copy of your former selves, and ovbiously getting the whole thing woul be ideal" ![]()

![]() Chris looks up from his notes "I for one would like our first step to be recovering the bodies we were not capable of doing so before, then having them where we know where they are, buried next to some landmark for example, spend a day doing that, gathering all of the bodies that we can, then move on to the lizardfolk camp"

![]() "The letter to my dad should be a step in the right direction as far as a long term solution goes, but, I'm not sure how much help he'll be, it could be anywhere from inviting us to his protection (so long as we can make ourselves useful) while he looks for a cure, to sending a team of adventurers to quietly get rid of us, but both of those are equally unlikely...most likely he'll tell us to continue hiding, and maybe give us some info on what's going on, maybe give us some equipment, maybe he'll discretely look into things that could bring us back, but they'll probably be at the end of some dangerous dungeons" Chris sighs "now if my brother were the one transformed he'd waltz back in there under some kind of illusion, and between the two of them he'd be fixed within the month and no one would ever have suspected a thing..." He sighs "other long term help could be found in hats of disguise... Any of you know how to craft magic items?" ![]()

![]() I have seen the error on charisma, given there is no mechanical difference between an 11 charisma and a 10 charisma I didn't figure it vital that I fix it immiedietly, but I said I would fix it when the DM pointed it out to me (and I ignored it when others later pointed it out) Huh weird on the skills, I probably didn't remove all the skills from when this profile was gestalted with alchemist, I'll fix it over the weekend
Edit: that probably came accross as rudeer than intended, sorry super tired from job ![]()

It's probably just stress ![]()

![]() When they get to the building Chris finds a seet near a table and opens up his bag to grab a book on magic and to let the chinchilla out, he then casts a prestigitation spell to cleen and dry it's fur, and to improve it's smell. He then calmly begins speaking to the small animal, "for now this is home I guess, and for now it's safety, tomorrow we need to set about becoming stronger and reversing this effect on us, I want to find some way to send for my father and brother, make sure they don't worry and make sure they have some kind of lie prepared, maybe give some kind of help, advice maybe" ![]()

![]() I was reading up on hobgoblins and found somethig interesting "Of all the goblinoid races, the hobgoblin is by far the most civilized." They also have many capable engineers and alchemists, Hobgoblins aren't monsters in the traditional sense, in a way they're almost worse, they're the enemy army If hobgoblins are "largely unchanged" an individual hobgoblin would likely be seen as a deserter from the enemy army, not trusted, but likely not killed on site
They also look fairly humanlike ![]()

Anyone else at a lost for what they are? I remember most of you from my studies"
