"Sir, you are no doubt angry at the condition that you were left in. And it is unjust. Consider, though, a bit of wisdom: the best revenge is to lead a good life. Tenasi may not appreciate your fine skills, but there are many in the world who would. Our society, the Pathfinder Society, greatly values those with your particular skill set. Join with us, even for a time, and we can offer adventure, fame, and opportunity for wealth not to be found among the shrouded streets of Iadara." She pauses, emphasizing the next few words. "We assure you, that our leaders would not undervalue you leadership skills or the efficacy of your team." diplomacy: 1d20 + 27 ⇒ (2) + 27 = 29

Take 10 on dayjob for a 25 heal check (I have a vanity to let me use this as a job) for 50 gp. Chjara heals the those elves who have been wounded by the blight of the tanglebriar, at a steep discount. PFS 7514-6

1d20 + 13 ⇒ (19) + 13 = 32 - yay I made a save! Chjara will cast blessings of fervor on her companions. She then uses agile feet to ignore the minor inconvenience of terrain and moves closer N13 BoF: With this blessing, you call your allies to move forth and empower them to conquer and become victorious. Each round for the duration of this spell, each of your allies can choose one of the following bonuses for that round at the beginning of its turn (their choice).
Increase its speed by 30 feet.
These effects are not cumulative with similar effects, such as those provided by haste or a speed weapon, nor do they actually grant an extra action, so you can't use it to cast a second spell or otherwise take an extra action in the round. Blessing of fervor does not stack with haste.

'tis an enchantment compulsion effect which I believe falls under the purvey of prot. vs. evil. It's not really an "exercise mental control" effect, so my inclination would be "no".

[sarcasm]You never said you dropped me, so it didn't happen![/sarcasm] mini-rant:
For what little its worth, I greatly disapprove of that interpretation of attack/grab/contstrict release shenanigans. It greatly overestimates the creature damage as appropriate to CR. Grumble, grumble. I choose not to take the interpretation as a GM. The tentacles assault Chjara multiple times, but fail to bring her down. "To echo my compatriots, General, although you think ill of our Society, it would be wrong to think of this venture as plundering. Rather, we seek to save the lore of a fallen piece of history - a Sky citadel - from the hands of demons and their worshipers. I assure you our ultimate purpose is a noble one. While the battle of Kyonin against the tangible threat of the Tanglebriar is a very real one, our battle against the intangibles - loss of history and understanding of the past - is no less a vital cause." Chjara will study her surroundings closely, and then turn to her companions. "I believe I am ready to venture forth."

No, I don't usually play her like this. She is normally quite diplomatic if a bit rigid. However, any dialogue that revolves around "Do you know who I am? Respect my authori-tay" is irksome. People generally don't deal with each other that way, unless they one of the Paris Hiltons of the world. The fact that Aram Zey is always portrayed in this light frustrates me to no end. I'd rather he went the way of the Lantern Lodge "Indeed, I spoke in jest. We all know that outsiders would not be welcome in your realm unless matters were particularly dire, even those with elven heritage like myself. And of course, mattersare dire. The worldwound is a festering blight upon Golarion, and the recent receding of its defenses is most troubling. Any assistance that your forces can render will be welcome in the coming battles."

"Yes, it is an honor for Kyonin to be graced by Pathfinders. I am sure my associates will paint a lovely picture of your forest home in the Chronicles. I understand that your force of rangers has been instructed to join the Pathfinder "army" by Queen Edasseril on account of your regent owing a favor to one of our society's lesser members. I trust that your defenses will not be significantly compromised by this reallocation of forces?" diplomacy: 1d20 + 27 ⇒ (13) + 27 = 40

Henry Krippler IV comes from a long line of Henry Krippler’s who each excelled at ‘dwarven diplomacy,’ at least as it is practiced by the Kre-akke dwarves. In fact, he has risen through the ranks to become the Ambassador of the Kre-akke People. He has been heard to say, on more than one occasion, that, “The best way to negotiate with someone is to have him with his hands tied behind his back and his face in the dirt. It is then best to assume that whatever they mumble through broken teeth is in total agreement with your requests.” He honours all negotiations made, and would never disrepute his negotiations by taking a weapon to the meetings. Unfortunately, he died on a diplomatic mission to Andoran over a month ago, bull-rushed off a cliff by giants whilst travelling through the Pass of Shadows.
