Sorry everyone, it's been a crazy time.

We're taking in a friend who was about to literally be homeless. She makes over $20 an hour and she can't afford to live alone anywhere in town. This is not a major city. It's an 80,000 population area. But a high speed toll road was just completed to Toronto. And now rich a@$!~%%s who don't mind driving to work are starting to snap up property. Like many places, bidding wars are starting over rents.

Anyway, to make a long story slightly shorter, we're taking her in. When I say we, I mean my wife, myself, and our severely depressed housemate. It's a 3 bedroom. We are about to have 4 people, and a dog, living in this place. There is one bathroom.

I'm not saying this to vent, only to give everyone a sense of the upheaval that is going on. This place was crammed floor to ceiling already with the belongings of three grown adults. Our new tenant is putting most of her belongings in storage; however, she still needs at least one room.

We call this place "The Madhouse" and that's becoming truer all the time.

So bot me all you want right now, and I'll be here more often soon.

I suppose they did deserve leniency, though they were more than willing to spill our blood, until we proved more than a match for them. Let us hope the next group of travellers they come across are not a helpless family.

I believe bardic inspiration would work on summons and things like that. The flag would not.

Heightened Awareness is up for 10 minutes, or until we roll initiative. If we get into combat before the charge wears off, I will dismiss the spell for +4 to initiative.

We've been together a bit, and I assume some background chatter goes on in between actual scenes, enough to get to know each other a little. But sure, we may not have established the level of deciding on what to do about roles like "party face" yet.

Chaucair has Bluff +16, Sense Motive +16 but only +8 in Diplomacy.

Is someone else better on the Diplomacy end?

If Chaucair can maintain the bardic performance while getting an attack in that might help too.

Don't expect Chaucair to be a combat bard. He's a buffer caster. I'll see about getting some kind of offensive wand down the line.

Do we track gems vs. money and type of coin? Or just lump it all into a gp value?

Chaucair figures the Grease worked pretty well last time, and drops another.

Targeting the near troll's two rear squares and the two immediately behind them.

Chaucair them moves 5' forward, drawing his Wand of Cure Light Wounds in his free hand.

And yes, I ruled they stack. Might be RAW, might not, but I'm gonna allow it since buffing up people is a big bard role and it actually contributes well to the team.

Those bonuses stack? Kinds cool if so.

One is competence, one is morale.

Allies within 30 feet who can see the flag (including yourself) gain a +1 morale bonus on attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, and saving throws against fear and charm effects.

Add the +1/+1 from Bardic Performance and everyone is +2/+2.

As for the flag... I think Chaucair would have taken the flag of the local area by this point. Albarra seems to make sense, without being overly meta-gamey.
