Cayson tries to hit the fleeing Xvart caster but the little Blue Devil's God is on their side tonight as Cayosin yet misses again with a huge swoosh. 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15 Again, Cayosin hits the staff on the ground but not hard enough to break it, and cursing at it more, "Work, damn it!" Steps away from the computer for a long swig of beer and to recover from die rolling depression.

ROUND 5 Attack1: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14
Cayosin attempts to hit the fleeing Xvart but just hits air. He does not give chase if the others don't follow. Then he angrily smacks the ground with the staff, not hard enough to break it, but hard enough to punish it for missing way too many times, "ERRR!!! Evil spirits have invaded my staff! The Blue Devils are smirking at us for only killing one of theirs. We should have been able to slay them all!" Current Stats:
Raging Rounds: 8/13 rounds, start rnd 1 Shield Rounds: 4 minutes, start surprise rnd, (34/40 rounds) Blur Rounds: 8/13 rounds, start rnd 1, Long Arms: 4 minutes, start rnd 4, (38/40) RAGING SHIELDED CAYOSIN --------------------
Well, those dice rolls were horrible. They saved most of Xvarts ... lol

Spellcraft: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23 Cayosin smiles at the Xvart caster and does his own casting, making sure he will not provoke AoO, Cayosin casts Long Arm increasing his reach by 5'. Then he gives her a big smile making her feel cheated, now within reach, and Spell Disruptive Bloodrage. Current Stats:

It's ok Raggo, I am playing chess with a caster instead smacking her good.

Aerodus Aluain wrote: Wow... Cayosin... Those are the s@*#tiest dice rolls I have seen in a long time. That is serious bad luck man. Oh... Shouldn't your second attack bonus damage be +5? Str 20, right? Yes, sigh, there is no such thing as a decent automated character creator (Hero Lab and TOS). I need to comb through my stats again. And it is actually 24 when raging.

Fort Save: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19 The 8th Xvart starts to see Cayosin's eyes become cloudy and Cayosin starts to loose his vision, then he shakes his head and both disappear. Cayosin makes a 5' step and attacks, "NOW IT IS MY TURN TO PERMANENTLY BLIND YOU WITH DEATH!" FULL ATTACK 5' Step ATK1: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19
Ugh!

Blarprymja is tied up so he can not currently assist but if a Xvart comes close to him ... Cayosin yells out, "I've got the "blue-devil" caster Aerodus." Aerodus knows from previous work with Cayosin, he is specializing in disrupting spell casters and getting better. Cayosin moves to Xvart 8 to attack him making sure to avoid as much AoO as possible and attacks the Xvart caster, "TIME TO BEAT UP THE SPELL CASTER!" 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (7) + 12 = 19
Bloodrage Disruption: the DC to cast spells defensively increases by 2 for enemies within your threatened area. This increase stacks with that granted by the Disruptive feat.

Surprise Round Upon seeing the "Blue Devils", Cayosin yells "I see two Blue Devils sneaking up on us. To Arms ... To Arms!" Cayosin casts Shield Upon himself and allows himself to be very angry of being interrupted in his relaxation. Initiative: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26 If I am getting ahead of you GM Ray, this is what Cayosin does on his Normal round and init. Normal Round On his initiative, Cayosin bloodrages into combat which automatically activates his Arcane Bloodrage spell Blur (all free actions). Now blurred with a transparent outline which makes him look like he is burning with rage, his draconic eyes glowing, and his Quarterstaff held high he methodically walks up at the max speed of 50' to the first Xvart with a blood curdling, "DIE BLUE DEVILs! ... DIE!" Attack1: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26

Cayosin does not take long to set up his camp, basically taking the saddle off Blarprymja, tying the horse up, and finding a nice place where the fire is going to be built and sets his saddle and backpack up there. You get the impression that he is going to use it as part of his bed. Then he addresses the group, "I will take last watch!" Then all of sudden he picks up his staff in his hand leaving the swords still sheathed, "What was that?!" And then looks in the direction(s) of sneaky 17 and 22.

Earlier Also striding to his horse and saddle up, Cayosin shrugs, "Well we don't really know the order to retrieve these missing persons. As long as we get them back safely, we succeed." Now Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22 While on Blarprymja, "Yes, I would love to knock out their teeth while knocking them out. Later, I noticed I had a bad hold on my staff and will no hit them more often if we encounter them again." Cayosin looks at the swords, "And I can't wait until I get use to these Darkswords, they feel well balance but require some getting use to."

GM Ray, there are one more pair of boots that we do not know what it is?
Mature Pureblood Azlanti Adult **WIP**
Cayosin's shrugs at the demon's name thanks to his over inflated ego caused by his dragon heritage, "What is the big deal of this Graz'zt demon?" Cayosin's eyes focus more on the treasure, "Anyone want any more of the items from our recent battle? I do not want to feel that I am greedy and trying to take everything."
Mature Pureblood Azlanti Adult **WIP**
Earlier Cayosin looks a the Changeling Witch, "Sorry, I also do not know what these creatures were or are. And by the looks at it, either they used poison in their weapons or that is where the gas was coming from. And thank you for the healing even though I was unscathed in the battle." "I also have no problem seeing in the dark but I do agree with Aerodus, the day will bring color to our vision and help us track better." Cayosin looks outside, "And I don't see any weather that may make tracking more difficult. At least, close by any way." Current Cayosin wakes up and stretches noisily outside to not wake up anyone and away from Aerodus trying not to disturb him too much but it is nothing new to Aerodus since that is a common habit for Cayosin. He then dons one of the Cloaks of Day Resistance and picks up two of the Dark Slayer Swords. He makes sure they are drained of poison and practices outside with them a little to see if the cloak applies its ability to the swords. Of course, he still needs to train a little more in them to be proficient but this is a start.
Mature Pureblood Azlanti Adult **WIP**
I found part of it ... Three of the potions that the Dark Slayers carry are potions of Cure Moderate Wounds. One of them is a potion of Gaseous Form and, though Gregary is unable to identify the other two, they seem remarkably similar to the other potion of Gaseous Form. It's likely that each Dark Slayer had one of Cure Mod & one of Gaseous Form. The three Cloaks each give magical protection against sunlight, allowing the wearer to reduce any penalty associated with Daylight conditions. The Boots give the wearer an enhancement when climbing: +4. @GM Ray - do the cloaks extend the daylight conditions extend to the swords? Because if they do, Cayosin would be interested in one of the cloaks and (2) swords. The others not listed, I believe he was distracted by activities.

Earlier with Aerodus Aerodus wrote: Hearing Cora tell Terra that Rudwilla was going to pick ingredients by night, Aerodus turns to Cayosin. "How is your nightvision friend? Does the night appear as if the day?" Aerodus gestures around himself. "I am filled with the blessings of the Dawn, thus my eyes do perceive what they will, even at night. I could follow these tracks and we could guard the woman and return her here, lest there are nastier things lurking!" Cayosin nods, "However it is only in black and white with no color. In some cases, that is better but not in every situation." Changeling Witch Cayosin shrugs, "It has been many nights since I wore a nightgown."
Mature Pureblood Azlanti Adult **WIP**
Cayosin follows Aerodus out of the house, "Aerodus, like old times, I'll assist you indirectly looking for tracks. Once we find what we are looking for, I am going to comb the house one more time." While searching for tracks, Cayosin can not get the feeling of those Dark Swords in his hands out of his mind. Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Mature Pureblood Azlanti Adult **WIP**
Cayosin nods too, "I can track or assist as well. My guess the stalker potions are either poison or healing, or maybe something else?" Cayosin picks up (2) of the (3) Dark Swords and can feel their balance but he can tell that they will need some practice. He begins to like their feel and not liking that feeling, he places the swords down."Perhaps someone with Detect Magic and spellcraft can figure out hat the potions and other items are?"

Cayosin did not hear Terra or Gregary for various reasons. However when he sees Terra trying to take the girl out, he delays his attack and sets up Kirapetsh for the attack above.

It's actually a heavy warhorse and I am thinking realistic. But like I said, I will adjust it making the horse paper thin. But in all actuality in real life, I can cut you in half with a Claymore faster than a Freisan. Just like crossbows, DnD and Pathfinder do no justice to the heavy war horse. In fact, that was what the Claymore was made for, dismounting riders off their horses. Also, Hero Lab is not as good as I thought it was. It is not complete, it has bugs, and to develop more modules is almost more complicated than making a Mod for Fallout 3/NV.

ROUND 5 Bringing the right side of the staff down smartly, Cayson strikes at Kirapetsh, "RUSSHHHH!!!" Attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15

But how did you get a +9 for Fort on your horse, out of interest? Valour has a +7 and I'd love to boost it to +9 I leveled my horse with me to 3 HD and that is what Hero Lab said the Fort save should be. Pretty insane to ride around on a 1 HD horse even at 3rd level. But if that is what the horse should be at, I'll adjust.

ROUND 4 Cayosin uses his staff to block Kirapetsh's assault, then using the whole staff , he strikes towards Kirapetsh. Bash Kirapetsh: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15
Kirapetsh remembers how much the last strike hurt and dodges the blow. Rats! Don't be giving your dice to me GM Ray :-) Passing the evil loaded dice to Aerodus
