"Perhaps gibberish was the wrong word, he was cryptic and it seemed like nonsense until I thought on it a bit. But he mentioned there might be answers for me in some ruins. He said something about a dwarven monastery to Ashlyn... Oh and he also said not to wake the evil that slumbers below, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it."

"this is all quite exciting, much better than all the reading I was expecting today. Seems we have a heading!" Carth responds to Mahonrai's question of Zegeneva. "There was a spooky man at the kirk who told us a bunch gibberish which it turns out was impressively relevant" Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23

Carth looks through the crowd at Anatoli. "I like him." "It seems our little has group has grown into a real merry band. Not to rush anyone but the more I hear about all this the more I think it would benefit us to get to the bottom of all this rather quickly. To the Lumber Consortium first?"

Carth looks back at Ashlyn with a gleam in his eye, half mischievous, half perfectly innocent. "Hmmm? Nope, never met them in my life, but they look like interesting folk, just like you, HA! Besides, it not like we really no what we're looking for, maybe some one of them has a few ideas."

Carth holds back a full laugh, opting for a quiet chuckle instead. "Look at me." He point at his horns with a thumb "If everyone was judged on their origins alone than I would be just as bad, but I prefer to judge people on their character. From the little I've seen of you you're a perfectly pleasant woman, and I've no doubt you can take care of yourself if it comes down to it. And the fact that you live and work in this Kirk is extremely interesting, I would love to hear more about that." Carth extends a hand to Zegeneva "Carth, pleasure to meet you. And glad to have you with us." "Thank you Lady Cirthana. Let's be off!"

"Well then, I'll go and talk to this Brickasnurd fellow, and then see what I can find in the ruins. If mysterious men are warning people about them, you can bet your left arm there's something interesting in there. Where can I find him? And come to think of it, where can I find that dwarven monestary?" Carth looks at Ashlyn. "Ashlyn, I understand you may be bit hesitant to leave the Kirk, but a companion would be welcome if you're interested, especially if I'm to enter these ruins." to Zegeneva "And I didn't catch your name, but your welcome as well. I figure everyone wants to know whats going on with this sickness."

The Kirk "Well it would be a contradiction, almost unheard of, which is why i'm so interested. Besides it would appear that you harbor devils in your church which seems a contradiction of its own. Not that I mind, she seems amiable enough and I'm sure there is a good story there. But it is quite unusual, I have been turned away from such places on the grounds of my appearance alone."

Carth accepts the tea and sips its slowly, careful not to burn himself.
"Either way, Lady Cirthana. My name is Carth I've only arrived recently but I was hoping you might help me with my research."
"See, im an aasimar, my parents too, as pure blood as they can be according to the history books. Clearly, that isn't entirely true. Somehow the blood of demons runs in my veins, and maybe a bit of dragon as well. I surely don't want to know what family dinners were like. I was hoping to find some information here, on angels, demons, dragons, or any combination of the former. My search so far has lead me no where."

"Tea would be nice, thank you."

Carth, taps the counter and begins to leave. "Well, thanks for the tip, catch ya soon Jak." He heads out the door, flipping up his ratty hood to cover his horns. He heads off down the road to see if he can find Lady Cirthana. Carth whistles quietly as he walks, he almost seems to dance a little jig as he walks. Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Carth wolfs down the last few bites of his lunch. He hurries over to the bar, drops his plate, and calls over to Jak. "Hey, Jak! you got a second? Is there someone or somewhere in town with a good record of Falcon's Hollow's history? There's a few things I want to check out."

Carth slides down the bar to join the angel and his companions.
Almost as an afterthought to Zegenva. "And I like your horns, and he's right about the hoods, both of you. I understand the desire to remain hidden" He gestures at his own small horns. "But embracing your heritage is important, and it feels good not to hide all the time."

Celestial:
"Oh right, my bad" "Well I dunno if either really suits me. Although a nice cave if you throw some furs in there, maybe add a door. I think that could be pretty cozy." Carth returns to his seat and looks up at Joanne.
And is no one else wigged out that everyone here is like seven feet tall, whats in this ale? Am I going to grow?"
About Ssimu SpearchuckerAge: 20 | Height: 2.3m | Spines: Red | Scales: Green, Blue and Yellow Stripes Ssimu never shied away from the violence in his upbringing. When something or someone needed to be killed, he was happy to do it. However, he never understood the sentiment of superiority that others of his kind seemed to feel toward the races they met and conquered. The cycles he saw in nature never seemed to bear this out. One animal did not eat another because it was "superior." It was simply hungry. This fascination with nature led him to the green faith and eventually to the Starfinders to sate his thirst for knwledge of new creatures. |
