Male Halfling Rogue / 1

Bob does a quick perusal of the door hoping to spot any traps or other signs. 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Well if there is anything there, I sure don't notice it.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

Bob will travel in front looking for traps, etc. At the first sign of trouble though, he will back up to middle of the party and lend fire power through his bow.

Checking the door. Search: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24 Spot would be 3 less.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

Bob pours some of the beer onto his hankerchief and cleans up his arrow wounds. Then asks Gloisil for a little of that cleaning magic.

I will prep a couple other hankies in case we run into that foul polluted air that we faced this morning. Was that just today?

I will prep Bob for second level this evening, hopefully and update my character info.

Gloisil crosses the main hall, taking the stairs cautiously. Stopping at the first door on the right. Listening at the door before trying to open it.

Speaking to his owl that is perched on his shoulder, "Hoot, can you hear anything?"

Listen: 1d20+5, Listen (Hoot): 1d20+12

I, too would like a chance to listen at this door. Listen:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

I guess my ears must be a little out of it for now. Sorry

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

I'll do a quick search for anything of use.

Search: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

I guess I am still somewhat blinded by the goblin bits that came my way.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

Bob loads his bow and looks for the next likely pincushion. A seargent if possible. Spot: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21 He fires: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 In case of miracle, Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

Reflex save: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16

Bob jumps a little bit out of the way and hopefully doesn't get nailed too hard by the Gobbie Goo.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

Bob is shocked at the behavior of the gobbies, attacking their own as much as their enemy. He is glad to see it, but shocked. And decides to help them as much as possible to kill each other.

Spot check: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Looking for a goblin to shoot, preferably one of the sargents. But any Goblin in the storm will do. Attack:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

Thank you muchly Elsdyn. Bob

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

Bob decides the chief orc (if he is still standing, else some random goblin), needs some attention. He fires. 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 Damage. 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Then he continues the song.

Them Gobbies ain't so bright.
We will kill them on sight.
They do not cause us fear.
We kill them with a sneer.

We're gonna kill some gobbies,
We're gonna kill some gobbies.

;)

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

Bob fires another arrow at a goblin this time, hoping his aim has improved. 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25 Much better. Critical Confirmation: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 Oh well, can't be perfect. Damage:1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Bob is so happy to be out of his slump, that he starts singing "Gobbies came back, And there's no lack, Come on you lizards, we'll nail you in the gizzards." Then the refrain, "We're gonna kill some gobbies, we're gonna kill some gobbies."

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15

Bob places another arrow into his bow, says a short prayer to Silvanus for help and let's fire.1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 He says to himself: There are just those kind of days.He then loads another arrow for the 2nd round & looks for a particularly nasty looking rat.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

Bob lets an arrow fly. 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 I then watch as the arrow slide down the hall. I will then step to the back of the party and ready another arrow.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

I guess I'll get moving, watching for traps or other "life" forms. Or at least anything moving.

:Search: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Spot: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Okay guys lets get going. My perception is at its best.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

Oops, make that shortbow.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

I'll follow Mogue as Glosil is doing. I have my longbow out and ready to shoot.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

Spot: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20

Listen: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24

Not bad for a little guy.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

If the large coridor continues, I think we are continuing that way. If not we turn around and go back to the coridor that is now on our right.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

Then lets be on our way. Continuing on.

Spot: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

My guess would be come out of the room we defended, go down the steps and take a left down the hall. I am willing to take point to watch for traps. But as soon as danger appears, I will be instantly transported to the support area of the group. Bravery in combat is not one of my strong points, but I won't run away.

Spot: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

At the sound of "Treasure", I head right over to help.

Search 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

I'll wait patiently for my turn to be patched up. I took two arrows, but minor damage. I thank Sunset for the kind words and say that it was easy to keep harmony with such a fine voice as yours.

When I patched up I will take a peak down the hallway.

1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

I guess that there wasn't really much to see.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

Look out gobbies, Bob is getting upset.

Fire another arrow. 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24

That's more like it.

Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

We're gonna kill some gobbies, we're gonna kill some gobbies.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

Let's party.

Launching another arrow.1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

Blast, for a party, this isn't a lot of fun.

We're gonna kill some gobbies, we're gonna kill some gobbies.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

We're gonna kill some gobbies, turn them to blood and gore.
We're gonna kill some gobbies, until they just ooze across the floor.

Launching my arrow.

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13

If that should somehow hit

1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

We're gonna kill some gobbies, turn them to gore and blood.
We're gonna kill some gobbies, they gonna turn into a flood.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

"Bob is fine", I answer to Desidera's Status Request.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

I will take this round to change weapons to my short bow.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

Trying to harmonize with Sunset.

Perform, Sing: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21

We're gonna kill some gobbies. We're gonna kill some gobbies.

Just not sure who has the high part.

Anyway, my next attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

Apparently a better singer than slinger.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

When my turn comes around, I'll attack one of the ranged weapon gobbies.

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24

Damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

We're gonna kill some gobbies. We're gonna kill some gobbies.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

I haven't received the map. Do you have my e-mail address?

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

We're gonna kill some gobbies .... ;)

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

To counterpoint Gloisil's negative attitude I'm going to join Sunsets chant of "We're gonna kill some Gobbies"

I'll follow everyone to the smaller room, try to find something to stand on so that I can use my ranged attack. Setting my lantern somewhere that it will shine into the Gobbies eyes as they look into the room and not too close to anyone who would be exposed by the light.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

I peer about for my stuff.

1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18

I gather it up and light my lantern, placiing it on the ground in front of me to one side and point it toward the door that the doomed gobbies will be coming out of, ready my sling and wait for the rif-raf to arrive.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

I might as well take lead, I can check for traps and attack as well as I normally can.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

I'm willing to take the lead. I'll tie my lantern around my elbow and start the descent using the rope that Merrick has hold on.

My climb: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

Third times the charm.

I'll take 20. = 29

Now comes the fun part. Mogue, see if you can lift it. I'll even attempt to assist.

1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17

If we don't get er done, lets get Merrick over here.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

I'll try again and take 10 to do it right.

10+9 = 19

Hopefully that will work a little better. If not, I will try again.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

I believe that that would be up my alley. At least I will try my best. Pulling out my special lock pick I give it a try

1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10

Whoops, not my day.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

Mogue, Gloisil, let's move some rocks.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

I will do another quick search to see if I can find where the smell / breeze is coming from.

1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18

I think I might have found something. What do you think, Mogue, Gloisil?

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

I will examine that area, provided of course, it is not full of gobbies.

1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

It doesn't look like I found anything, so I will inform Mogue that there is something strange over here.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

I ponder this for a moment. I've met a few dwarves in my short life. I try to think if I've ever heard anything.

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Apparently, nothing comes to mind. So instead of overtaxing my small brain, I'll look around and see if I spot anything.

1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

I return to Mogue and report the following:

as you make your way back to the rear caves hiding behind rocks; dead scrub; depressions and various garbage; you see about 30 goblin warriors looking around in groups 3-5 and about 20 standing near the entrance; most have spears and bows and are only casually looking; they argue amonst themselves and are generally dissorganized but some are actually looking around; a bigger concern: there are five warg rider calvary in much better and heavier armor; bigger goblins <different tribes, mushroom gobbies dont ride>; sniffing around the entrance; using there track to try to sort our the scent; if they find it; the party is going to be in big trouble; at this point; you think it a good idea to sneak back; roll 4 more sneak/hide checks please. Most of the 20 at the entrance are watching the wargs; the wargs snarl at them and the mushroom gobbies yell and scream; and shout curses; some animosity here definately. They talk and yell abit; but you cannot make out what they say as you dont speak gobby according to your character sheet. you might be able to mimic some enough that another party member makes it out if they speak gobby.

Move Silent: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21
Hide: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

"Certainly Mogue, on my way."

Move Silently 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26
Hide 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (19) + 12 = 31

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

Now that we have hot water and don't seem to really need it, I will put enough dirt on the small fire to extinguish it quickly. Then seeing our newcomer I will introduce myself as Bob Proudfoot, a halfling, gentleman rogue. Pleased to make your acquaintance, Desidera.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

Bob adds a little more "DRY" firewood to keep the fire going and the water hot.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

Bob will gather some dry firewood and start a small fire checking the wind to make sure it won't blow toward the cave and heat up some water for tea.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

Bob grabs Summer and lifts her onto his back in a fireman's hold. (Strength roll = 11+1=12)

But as he attempts to head outside he slips on a particularly gruesome goblin body and falls smack in the middle of the body. (d20+4 = 3+4 = 7)

May be time to make another stomach check. (Ok, 19+Fort 3 = 22).

At least I don't make much more of a mess. Well, so much for that idea. I am glad to see that they are fleeing.

If I didn't have an elf on top of me, I might try fleeing myself.

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

Finally, I make a save 1d20+3 Fort,+3 Hankie = 26.

Realizing that this could be his last round, and seeing Sunset start to drop Bob attempts to lead/haul her out of here.

What kind of roll would you like for that?

Male Halfling Rogue / 1

Round 5: I'm not doing well with these spores. I better sit down.

Rolls a save of 5+3 = 8. If my memory is correct, I lost 4 points of con, the first time, I rolled a 3 con drop the second and another 3 this round, lowering my hit points by 5. Took 1 pt of damage from the sling stone, bringing me to 2 hp. Where is that cleric?.

Instead of sitting I will try a sneak attack on a nearby goblin (near Sunset).

Rolls a 13+2 = 15 with my dagger doing 1d3+1(+1d6 sneak attack damage?) = 1+1(+4)=2(6) pts of damage to it.

Then he attempts another hide.

Rolls another 20+12 for 32. YES!
