Bejis, unsure if he can attack the fire monster, moves between it and the rest of the group. {Q,R}x{19,20}. Q19 should have cover due to the corner, and thus no AoO. Assuming Connel will 5 foot step back.

I'd make a Diplomacy roll to go with that.

Just for reference, a long time ago we took a Hellknight trainee hostage, which dragged out into a long discussion without any real options. In an attempt to prevent that again, I (personally) am not keen on taking prisoners without a plan first.

As a side note, Bejis was raised as a gladiator slave, and has been taught a (flawed) variation of Gorum's religion, focusing almost solely on combat. It feels hollow to him, and lacks the peace/balance that he seeks for an end goal in his life.

No way to know for sure until we see what's on the other side of that door. For a single tough BBG, Bejis might be the better target. For a group of midrange baddies, then Bloodless might be better.

Just a note, (although I haven't tested it), but it could be possible that the post ID is used up. If so, it would be indicative of a problem, but not proof. (Though as Aereith pointed out, it's not worth engaging symptoms when someone's immature actions are the real problem.)

I still expect to regret selling it from an OOC perspective, but the cash would be needed. Bejis would vote "Sell" IC.

Bejis finds the teaching of Iomedae interesting, although a unfamiliar from the chaotic combat that was taught to the Gladiator slaves, he'll listen carefully to what Arael has to say, even Bejis can only identify with the combat aspects for the time being.

Bejis wants to go shopping for a magic enhancement for his Greatsword with his share of the loot/savings. I need to do the accounting still, but I assume we are getting at least 1200 gp. He doesn't have a solid agenda other than that, though he would start talking to someone in the league on religious views, as it becomes apparent that Gorum's view of solving everything by combat doesn't cover his recent experiences.

Someone with Knowledge or Diplomacy want to see what we can find out about the Lodge, in terms of what might be in their? (Golems in particular, but any kind of prediction would help us plan.)

I think the Haversack is too useful to sell. We should get more Intel on the Pathfinder Lodge before we sell of the conditionally useful stuff, (i.e. Scarab, Ring, Crown), in case it appears relevant.

While we do need cash, do we really want to turn the evil intelligent sword 'loose' in the world?

2. Check in with the League, report what he saw and pass of the handful of collected papers to be checked by experts, (for whatever value they may or may not have.)

Are there any predefined 'Intermission' activities/missions, or will we be picking up with the closed Pathfinder Lodge?

He carefully puts the 3 books into the pack, along with a few hastily selected papers that he thinks Janiven might be able to review.

How big/heavy (portable) is chest #1? Assuming it can be carried, Bejis (lacking other containers) will try to carry it out. (Does anyone have a bag of holding?)

Bejis will look among the weapons, "Are any of these effective against Shadows?" Bejis will pick up sword #2 and the axe. Offering them to Bloodless, "You should take one as a secondary weapon, for when we run into some new kind of unpleasant thing."
