Hi, I am looking for 1-3 more players. Right now there are 3 of us. We haven't dedicated a day yet but it will be on weekends at noon.

I have been running PF 1E almost since it's creation & I have been gaming for over 20 years starting with 2E AD&D.The other 2 are new to gaming.

I am also looking for someone to share GMing duties with me. I don't want to be the full time GM.

I like to have story to my games with a fare mix of Roleplay & combat.

I have a dedicated game room with all the implements of gaming (dice, pawns, mini's, maps, & the like.

I also play D&D 5E but I have only run it 3 times, although I have played it a lot. I am willing to use either system.

Hey All, just checking with everyone. Are your pawns splitting apart? My Rise of the Runelords & Monster Codex pawns, over the last two months, have been splitting apart. The cardstock is coming undone. They have been on a shelf in my bedroom in a box so I don't see how they could have gotten exposed to elements or have been used too much to where they ware out.

I know that these are old pawns but I didn't think they had a shelf life on them. And now there is the fact that you can't find these anymore (unless you buy them used on Amazon for nearly a grand) it really makes me rethink buying anymore pawns. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't discontinue pawns & I can re-buy them but I guess now I am just outta luck.

Let me know if anyone else has this problem & maybe the newer pawns can be made outta sturdier stuff.

Hey all at Paizo, with the new edition coming out, like it by the way, do you think you can come out with nice vinyl maps of Golarion like they have with D&D 5e? I have been watching the glass cannon shows & they have one on their wall & it looks great.
I would rather have them vinyl than to buy paper maps then have to pay big bucks to have them laminated. I spent almost $300 just on laminating earlier this year & I am still hurting in the wallet. Please don't make me sell my organs on the black market to pay for more laminating. Plus the guys at office max tried to cut up my posters in sections where it folds before laminating it & now I don't trust them.

Hi, I just ordered two subs & gave my new address (I recently moved), and when I was ordering them I saw the new address, but when I got the email it showed the old address. And then I went to my account manager (which I already changed) it showed the old address as the default even though I changed it. My order is #4998474.

I am not great with computers so I would be grateful for any help.

As said, I like everything so far & can't wait to run 2e when it comes out. I just want an to know that one major thing ain't gonna happen. I hope that you guys at Paizo don't change the geography.
I just spent nearly 300gp laminating a ton of pathfinder maps & I don't want them to be obsolete.
When D&D made 4e they totally changed the geography of the Forgotten Realms & that killed me.
So please keep the geography the same.

Hey All, I have a question. Are there any ill effects for an evil person casting Protection Vs. Evil on itself> I say no, but others in my group say yes. I see it as just because I'm evil doesn't mean I can't protect myself from external evil & my internal evil has nothing to do with it. I mean, I am not attacking myself...so...

The reason I ask is because I LOVE PF Necromancers (they are better than any edition of every RPG I played. In my opinion) & I usually play the Lawful Evil type & the DM felt I can't Cast Protection Vs Evil without taking penalties while it's up & I call BS on that.

Hi All. I have a question that I am not sure if it's been asked or if this is the right forum for this but here I go.
Why is shipping so high? I had three subs. One month I only was to receive a map pack, a flip-mat, & a comic book. All smaller items. But it had to be sent in 2 shipments (one in a white envelope, and one in a white envelope inside a big box). And it cost $16.00 in shipping. I have to ask why couldn't it all be shipped in the big box & in one shipment since I'm getting a big box anyway. And $16.00 for shipping!
I live in Texas not another country. Miniature Market has shipping where anything under $100.00 cost only $5.99 & if it's over $100.00 it's free. I had to cancel my subs because I just can't afford the shipping.
If you ever get to having reasonable shipping I will come back but until then I am using Miniature Market.

Hey All, I recently heard from a friend that Paizo is making a new campaign setting for PF, is that true? I looked on the message boards but couldn't find any info about it. He said it's going to be PF but not on Golarian.
I ask because he is known to..."exaggerate" on things.
I for one wouldn't mind a new campaign setting as long as it's still fantasy PF & not something like SF. No offense I just am not into spaceships & lasers. I barely like Star Wars & I hate Star Trek, it's just not my thing.
But on the new setting for PF, I think a little variety might be a good thing. I would love a Ravenloft like setting. I don't know how that would come around tho. Ty.

Hey I just got an email that says I am being charged for PSS games that I was already charged for at the end of April. The email said I was charged $15 and some change & it lists #8-18, #8-19. #8-20, & #8-21. But I got #8-18 & #8-19 last month. Am I being charged for them twice?
Unless I am reading it wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hey All, I was wondering if there are any plans in the future for having an AP that uses just the CRB, UC, UM, & APG classes? I like the APs but I don't have all the newer books (Advanced Class Guide, Unchained, Occult, & the like) & I am simple in my gaming I just like the few books I listed, but I see that just about every enemy you fight in the APs are classed with all the new classes that I don't know. I want to keep the subscription but if I can't use them it is a waste of money (something that I really don't have a lot of). Later

Hey All, I am sorry about this being long but I got a bit of a problem that I need advise on. I joined a group a little over a year ago. They played 3.5 & 5e. But I got them to play in my Pathfinder game. It was okay but one player who is a devoted 3.5 player is causing problems & it's the dumbest of problems.

In my game someone in the group wanted to use 2 weapon fighting but he moved more than 5ft so I said he couldn't because 2 weapon fighting was a full attack action. The problem player yelled & screamed "That's why I hate PF because of stupid rules like that!" Which then I said it was the same way with 3e & 3.5. He said I was wrong, I said look it up. He did. He then moved on, not saying I was right but I didn't care.

Then in my game they had a fight with rogues. Rogues got initiative so they stabbed at his paladin. I asked what his flat footed AC was. He yelled that it shouldn't be flat footed because he wasn't surprised. Where I said you are flat footed until you act in the round. He started bad mouthing PF because of "Stupid Rules" like that. Where I said it's been that way since 3e. Where he didn't believe me, so we had to look it up & I was right. So he said he was gonna start using that "New"rule, where I said it wasn't new it's been around since 2000. He didn't enjoy that. Maybe I should have taken the high ground but...

Over the weekend he complained about in PF the spell Lesser Restoration took 3 rounds to cast. I told him it was the same in 3.5 & of course he didn't believe me.

And his, I guess hatred, of me is spilling over in his 5e game because he is showing VAST amounts of disfavor towards me while showing an amazing amount of favor towards everyone else.

Plus I had to quit running my game because he sabotaged it. He decided, at 1st level, to get the entire thieves guild in town to go after them by attacking them. He was playing his paladin lawful stupid & said he had to destroy evil. So now the entire thieves guild has a price on the players head. And I thought of many ways to fix this. But then I thought, even if I fix this, he will just do something else, Then I fix that, then something else & so on. So even though I REALLY, REALLY love to GM I can't because of him. I don't know what to do so any advise would be welcome. I am even thinking of just quitting the only problem is that in my area it's slim pickins so that means no gaming whatsoever.

Hey All, can you cast Shrink Item on a small barrel of gear to carry it around in your pocket & then when you need it just restore it back to normal size? Will it's contents shrink with it? And if you can make it permanent can you always shrink & enlarge it at will? And if yes, & if you were powerful enough, can you do the same with a small cart? Ty

Hey, can you have any familiar with the Valet Archetype or do you have to have a Improved Familiar? I wanted to have an arctic hare as a familiar for the bonus to initiative, but I don't see how it can assist in crafting. Or is it more a mental thing rather than physical? A voice in the head reminding you that it's 3 eyes of newt instead of 2. Help me out here plz.

I love the school of necromancy. As a PC or a DM. And how can I rule the world without an army of the dead? What, you want me to use goblins?! Do you know how much they eat?! The dead eat the fallen, very economical & green.

Hey, I am almost certain that I saw a feat that allows for Mounted Combat to be used more than just once a round in the past but for the life of me I can't find it now. If anybody can help with this I would be grateful.

Hey. My name is Russell Haught I am looking for a group in the Mesquite/Balch Springs/Seagoville area in Texas. I can play D&D 2nd ed thru 5th, or Pathfinder. I like to play in person. Not very big on gaming online.
The weekends are best for me. I have been gaming since I was 16 & I am 37 now. I have all the materials & if I don't I will get them. If needed games can be held at my house with no problem.

Hi all. In the description of Greater Spell Specialization it says you can spontaneously cast a spell that you have Spell Specialization in by sacrificing a spell of at least equal level & you can add a Metamagic feat by increasing the level & casting time. Does this mean you can add only one Metamagic feat to it? It seams so, but I just want to be sure. Thanks

Hi. I downloaded the Encounter Planner of Hero Lab & it is nice but it has a different calculation for my groups APL than I do. I probably messed up somewhere so if anyone can help me figure out where I went wrong I would appreciate it. I have 6 players. Two at level 5, Three at level 4, & one at level 3. I figured APL 6 but Hero Lab says APL 5. Thank you.

In my last game I had an enemy cast Produce Flame through a wand & he used it as a ranged attack in the same round. A player said that the enemy can't use the wand & attack with it in the same round. I didn't think this was true but I want to be sure. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

My rogue/Wizard in the group is thinking of taking Trap spotter as his rogue talent. He wants to know if he could maintain concentration on a spell, that has concentration as it's duration, while using the trap spotter talent?

Hey All, I am new to running PFS games & I am a little confused about finding things like gem stones in scenarios. For instance, in one scenario the players find (24) gem stones worth 25 gold each. But they are not listed in the chronicle sheet nor are they added to the gold on the sheet either. Do I treat this as I would a normal house game & it gets split up by the party? I know this is probably a stupid question with an obvious answer but I would hate to do something wrong & screw up peoples PC's.

Can you automatically succeed on a WILL save against a Silent Image spell that you cast yourself. If, say, you make an illusory wall of stone can you see thru your own illusion.

I can't find anything in my library that jumps out to me as a continuation of the campaign. If there is something worth running please tell me what you think.

I made an event. Got the Chronicle number. Now, do my players have to sign up for the event online? And how do I, after the senario, update their character online?

Do I have to fill out any paperwork before I can GM legally? I am not talking about the Chronicle Sheet afterwards, I think I understand that. But if I have to register as a GM beyond registering as a player.

Hey all, I read that when you have a party of 6-7 players you add +1 to the APL to make encounters. But our party has grown to 8 members. Does that amount warrent a higher modifiation to the APL? And if so, can you tell me what book that rule is in. Thank you.

Hello, this may be late but I finally got to look at my download of Shattered Star #62 Curse of the Lady's Light & all through out the book a bunch of letters are missing. For example, the section on the god Torag. Instead of saying Torag, it just says "rag". I looked through the whole download & a lot of the letters are missing. I tried to download it again but its the same. What do I do? Thank You.
