Looking curiously upon the accuser, "We are not fey. I do not understand why you continue to call us that. We are all humans. Is it that difficult to tell? It does make me curious as to why you continue to insist upon that we are fey."

Catching sight of the peering human, "Excuse me, sir! Yes, you, within the tent! Do you need help? Because we are here to help. There is no need to hide," he tells him kindly.
Taking a nasty hit, Batu steps in between his allies and launches more stone at the beast.
"Well this is most definitely no ordinary bear," remarks Batu as he launches a gathering of rubble at the creature.
Batu quickly follows after the others.
"We shall go and speak to her then! Hopefully she is agreeable," he says with a smile. "I am confident we will be able to deal with this accordingly and in a proper manner."
"Quite nice," he agrees, smiling.
"I will go with you to this 'Jak's' place, whatever it is," Batu says with a smile.
Shaking his head, "Poor creature. Too bad we could not have arrived sooner."
Batu continues to attack the spot where he believes the kobold to be.
Taking advantage of the kobold's known location, Batu quickly calls forth more stone and launches it in said direction.
Batu decides to finish off the one kobold they can actually see so they can all fully concentrate on the invisible one.
Batu cares little that the psychotic kobold has gone invisible. He proceeds to gather more stone and launches it in the vicinity of where he last saw him.
Horrified at what he has just witnessed, Batu yells in fury as he raises a fist and attracts a great deal of loose earth around him. Once he's gathered enough, he thrusts his fist forward with absolute determination straight toward the murderer, hoping to smash its head to a pulp.
Smiling, "With all due respect, naked kobold miss who I think should really put some clothes on, I find this whole situation very disturbing. And awkward. Therefore... I will leave. Good day to you!" Batu then turns and stops for nothing as he makes his way out.
Batu will help look around the place for anything of interest.
Batu finally free of the stupid spell, immediately heads toward Oryn and pours the last of his potions down his throat.
Batu chunks a mighty plethora of rubble at king kobold.
Marioc says to Batu, completely ignoring his question "Why are you being so nice to this overgrown lizard? We should slap some sense into him!" Pondering that a moment, Batu eventually grins. "Because you just never know how one might respond to kindness. Plus, I find kindness to be more pleasing for the soul. Anger just always seems to make one bitter and because of that, it wears one down mentally and emotionally. And THAT is no fun AT ALL, trust me," he says with an emphatic nod, grinning still.
Looking a might confused, "Ummmmm, I do not believe you are our king, sir. I'm fairly certain there is another that is king. Could you please hold on a moment? Thank you." He then turns to the others, "Would someone please tell me what those glowing runes that are placed in front of those guards and the ones leading up the steps to the throne are? Should they be avoided or could they possibly be beneficial to us?" he asks, quite curious.
Batu attacks the red guy.
Batu attacks the last kobold standing.
With the red kobold on fire and rolling around on the ground, Batu turns his attention toward the blue kobold and attempts to blast it.
Batu continues to pierce the kobolds with loose debris.
And the rocks keep
Batu steps back and launches more rock toward the kobold directly in front of him.
Batu continues to chunk rock at the kobolds.
"Earthbending slice!" Batu calls out as he raises a hand, brings forth rock before karate chopping the air towards the kobold in front of him.
"Well, this idea did not pan out as well as I'd hoped. Let us return to the others, Rao Redflame, and simply attack them from the front." Batu then proceeds to head back.
Raising a hand way to excitedly, "I shall be the one that goes to the southwest." He then proceeds in said direction.
"Marioc of the Sea raises a good point. There are so many of them. And it really looks like they are waiting for us. Do any of you think they will actually be willing to talk?"
Batu holds up hand to halt the others. "There is someone - or something - straight ahead. Let us investigate." He then continues onward, attempting to remain as quiet as possible.
"We must stop that kobold! He's going to call for reinforcements!" Batu warns, gathering and launching rock with all his might.
With his right palm facing upward, he raises it up, gathers the stone and throws it at the creature to his left like a baseball.
"All good here!" Batu responds cheerily, giving a thumbs up.
Taking a moment to gather power, Batu forms a temporary blade of solid, yet sharpened, rock and slashes at the big bad kobold.
Batu takes a step back and brings forth another blast of loose stone toward Beefcake 'Bold.
Batu brings the stones and chunks them like daggers toward the oversized kobold.
Nodding in agreement, "And a fine suggestion it is, Oryn Goldenstalk!" he exclaims, grinning. "Let us be off."
Batu immediately pulls out a potion while seriously considering removing the spear, but remains a bit leery due to the concern for killing it if he does so. "This creature is a choker. It typically would attempt to kill us but obviously it can do no such thing at the moment. I will do what I can to help it." He then attempts to administer the potion to the creature.
"All good here, Oryn Goldenstalk!" Batu responds, giving a thumbs up. "Thanks for asking! Let us continue on."
Pausing to listen intently, Batu quickly turns to the others. "There is someone on the other side of that wall who sounds as if they are terribly hurt. We must find our way there quickly." He then looks for some way in.
Batu brings forth loose stone and launches it at the toad-riding kobold.
As a multitude of loose stone begin to circle the kineticist at an angle, it picks up speed as he forms a blade in his hand and strikes at the nearest kobold with it.
Hearing the warning from Oryn, Batu immediately leaps over the side and lands solidly, yet also breaks his ankle but he doesn't let that deter him.
Looking over at Rao with a smile, "Do not think of it as 'danger and death' Rao Redflame, think of it as 'excitement and adventure'! A journey to experience that of which you have never experienced! What greater treasure could there be than that?" he tells him, giving him a friendly pat on the shoulder. ”Might I make a suggestion?” Edgrin asks, then continues without waiting for permission. ”That one of us wear the slippers of spider climb and walk down the shaft wall at the same time somebody is lowered in the cauldron, then send the slippers back up with the cauldron, so that we’re descending in pairs?” "A fine plan indeed! Here," he proceeds to take off the slippers, "one of you take these. I will pair up with whoever is last. Or simply go down by myself. It matters not," he states matter of factly.
"That's right! I'm wearing the slippers!" he says with excitement. "Then I shall go last," he nods emphatically, grinning.
Smiling, "Never fear, Master Kylan! We will simply raise the cauldron and do this the safe way! Better safe than sorry I always say!" he says with a laugh. "Okay, okay, that's not really true. But I should say that more often because those are wise words. Anyway, off we go!" Batu then starts using the pulley to bring the cauldron up.
In thought to Marioc's question, Batu looks around at the band of many and sees the weariness in practically all of them, including himself. "I believe if we are able, we should rest. Many of us are wounded and could very well use the rest to heal said wounds."
