Dotting and getting up with some character ideas but that reminded me I do have some old characters from your old games and though to put them on good use :)

Some characters need some changes but otherwise I do have some interesting idea for neutral wizard with racist tendencies.. (well, the influence popping out from just recent "Divinity Dragon Conquerer" game :P) or might be something new

His memories go far back in time. He has seen all of developments in Rhodium but not in bad or worse. All of that didn´t matter. He has almost lost his sanity due to loss of family he had cared for centuries. Died in the sandstorms, died in the hands of beasts, died from hungriness… There hasn´t been a single day in his life he hasn´t cursed his own existence for his inability to save them or affect the outcome when the gods punished the kingdom.

No god will rule his life or no mortal is telling him what to do. Because of others foolishness there is so much suffering, Because of his own weakness he decided to study harder. There was nothing for him anymore in this country filled with sand and dust. No longer he would trust anyone else so easily. No longer will he hear others for their gods. They were all same in his eyes…. Each of them

Leaving behind that wretched world and country he sought for a new place to spend his last decades. To find answer to his questions about this world, to silence the cries of soul, to drive away the pain behind his mask… craving to find someone or anyone drag him out of his misery or end it. The cacophony of madness and screams were slowly advancing but the trust to find someone to talk … was hard

here is some background plus stats presented. Unique about him is the Venerable age and experience. Having some interesting idea of RP but still consideration and not being so much attention to "text" so will have mistakes


Happy that you are interested :) Will be actually quite interesting even from my part, now that I think about it, how much does it actually affect the game play if barbarian is getting extra rage powers more than once (not really denied) so keep eye up or might as well report.

your statements is true about the later level game: actual titans + wizard sneezing bigger fireballs than you have seen them cast so.. mhm, but I dunno. Could think that I could still dish more damage plus there has to be something good about the antimagic field :) Charge and hit (hopefully crit) and if they run... AoO which might as well go for trip or hitting again.

Nevertheless, I have NO idea how it might actually be and these are just hypothetically speaking of game level. But still, will see with extra rage powers.

Barbarian does have some really nice / crazy skills so have to evaluate them actually against normal feats to see which is better

thanks for your response :) I did not read the introduction so carefully through to notice the indication of places where your character could originate from but as plains are quite a normal area you can find anywhere, I though that would be OK although I am not so big expert regarding the continent where this RP will be based

regarding also the building up character: true about that since I have gone through most feats and thinking how to build up my barbarian I noticed that there is counter for everything. It is just simply amazing job what you and others have done here so thanks for that!

As a side note: I tried for one think about optimizing my barbarian here by your rules and got out and interesting build.

If I were to spend all my feats for the Extra Rage power I would get quite insane combination / damage barbarian when I went trough calculations and ... just wow.

Could squash some AC penetration there and would be insane: Titan stature Aura of Superstitious Trollblooded (or) Improved Power Attack


backstory of Algar:

Algar comes the tribe living in the plains, grass growing as far as eye can see. Their totem animal wolf is highly regarded among them due to one wolf own capabilities to survive or whole pack of wolves ability to work in a team and perform incredible feats although it was not unheard of some individuals to worship other totem spirits which were regarded in high.

Algar is a second boy of the tribe chieftain 5 children. Rather than having the eldest boy inheriting the title of chieftain, the offspring fights for the title. Growing up to be a big man man although not in such a portions as his older brother and 4th younger brother he had gained better health and stamina than most.

Algar was not the smartest of his siblings and not even the eloquent in barbarian terms. However, he was practical and had better sense to approach situations gaining him the favor of his father. His father knowing well his son´s weaknesses imposed to them a task to find a better half for themselves who would assist them, take care, fill their non-good sides and would bring healthy kids to the clan.

Algar took this seriously. Packing his stuff and taking off to find out his better half and to get back to his tribe to take his place as a chieftain which was rightfully his to be (all the siblings had the same thoughts). The journey would also come to serve him in the way of improving his powers as well as to be a great way to consult others, to gain confidence in talking, learn tactics. Algar was trying his best... although the possible wife-candidates would have hard time with him

- Interesting fact about the tribe was the interracial make-up: humans, orcs, goblins, halflings, even 1 pair of kobolds. It was not uncommon for interracial couples to be born in tribe. The chieftain of tribe was amusing in his own mind what kind of wonder or new kind of mixture Algar would bring with him from his journey

description:

Algar is 5 feet 5 inch tall muscular man wearing simple clothes with some furs around his shoulders and waist. His hair is bleached with dyes, tried to resemble the fur of wolf. Eyes are yellowish with hint of green, skin tanned from sun resembling deep brown colour. His face is not the most imposing and his lack of intelligence does not convince others any further. His knowledge however with certain things and firm believe to understanding of life (simple philosophy and how things are actually) are something... like a breeze of fresh air or interesting at least.

His mind on single task and approach with ground-to-earth tactics are respectable although they could be improved to involve more than "just doing this and the job is done". A wife in his terms is: good, listens to you, can help when needed and all the stuff with "thinking and calculating" can be done by her (admitting quite bluntly: having more intelligent partner and better at some things are no shame. She should support him). However, he is the "king" and he is not taking orders but giving them. There is only a one leader in his pack and that will be him.

EDIT: Picked up 2 traits which seems to fit character due to Neb vs Geb

1. Enemy of the Undead: 2 trait bonus on saving throws against any spells or spell-like abilities from an undead creature
2. Focused Mind: +2 concentration check

I have no idea how the American education system really works but in Finland it is quite different. Starting at age of 7 children begin their school (lasting 9 years) and after that they have 3 options to choose: upper secondary school (voluntary) or vocational school (voluntary) or dropout. Even after these there still exists 2 different options: university or polytechnic.

Bla bla and so forth, there is some huge differences with style, education and system and I strongly disagree (That is my option) with sending children in early ages to school or to start "studying" as soon as they are able to comprehend simple things

Mhm, thanks for the info! As said, it is so far only the crunch and believe me: when I have to play all those numbers in my head for level 20 character + calculate items... just not working. It is good, as I have noticed, to just post the statblock here to be visible for a while and get others help also . Ty for the info!

However, the extra increase to the Int score is from "Wish" Ability... BUT
reading through wish I am just wondering if it stacks or not. if not, then you are right and it should be lower =34


Just a curious question because I have to be honest and curious also:

How much powerplay you want to see from us? :P and how much "free-waving" from the character abilities?

Just thinking from the aspect of char (Level 20 = kind of god already)
but leading to their descendants. \

Mainly reasons are: 1. trying to think if okey to have Darkvision 120 ft + Arcane Sight (made to be permanent) 2. Still trying to fight with word-setting for Bracers of Armor and Robe of Archmagi 3. Just calculating that everything is ok (to make sure I am not forgetting anything from my character + to ensure I am not cheating / doing something wrong from my own part) 3. Seriously thinking: What you say about having the "Staff of Magi"

Going around and not paying attention to small guy, Azharten never had any desire to look at someone, he realised that it was almost the same when he had left the town.

Well, since we know where the dwarf is resting or at least spending his time, we could start with him. There is possibility, that he might know where the elf also is, so dwarf I say as Azharten speaks, he nods to himself Steady people and as I know, he could have some knowledge about elf

Thinking for a while, he then speak back to Lydiana My guess here is that the dwarf might have less to do with our mother than the elf, but I might be wrong. At least I have some kind of hunch for this and grins in the end
