Already said goodbye in the other game to Fox, so to Rexi, Van, and Bazzle (and Tasha if you are still out there) Thank You for some rather lovely moments and for accepting Aster into your fold.

"We can't leave without him." Aster says. "Go get him. I'll hold the Dottari off." in her wererat form she might hold a choke point for a while.

Don't think it's Aster. But double-checking... nope, she's trying to free the torture victim.

"I will" Aster shifts into her rat person form moves around the lady to see how to free the prisoner.

"Excuse me?" Aster asks with true wonder, at her friends, not the horror show in front of her. "This woman does not deserve that respect." grasping her holy symbol she calls on her two gods "Torture has no place in an orderly city OR a free heart!"

Aster bristles for a moment. If she was still in rat girl mode her fur would be standing on end. Only for a moment. After a glare at one person in particular, she addresses the group. "Yes we are the silver ravens. Now all of you, there is a grate in the back that leads down to the sewers. Grab a drink from the basin and a hunk of food, then go ahead and go down it and we will rescue the last prisoner. I know a lot of you want to help but we will need to get out of here fast so need to start the evacuation now."

Aster will gather Sabo's effects, badge, holy symbol, magical gear and whatnot. Past that she will grab any other magical gear no one else has grabbed and then is ready to head out.

Aster the rat woman shakes her body like a wet dog, discarding hair and size until she is back to her pear shaped middle aged splender. She rests her had on Tasha with a smile healing her more "Polite people do not keep a count. And it is wonderful to see you again."

Then, even though she finds the practice distasteful, she will look over the dead for valuables and magic items. Revolutions need money. (detect magic and perception, taking 10 for a 23)

Aster heals Tasha one more time, ignoring the enemies and the lighting, "Time to get up, young lady." she says gently. "I'll try and distract them some more so you can."

Aster sees Tasha crumble to the ground, a very unhealthy amount of crimson all over her. A momentary Squeak of surprise is all that comes out of the pear shaped rat woman before she pushes in, ignoring swords and stares, and bends down to press her hand against her friend and Heal her.

Aster will come heal you! With her DR she can trigger all the aoo's without much worry.

Aster will move forward and try and open the door for the others.

"Locked... oh, the key!" the ratty Aster remembers the adorable (though nervous) Skritt that gave it to her. Pulling it out of her belt she unlocks the door and gets ready (once someone else opens is).

Aster moved to get to the door, and unlocked the door, so someone else will have to open it, or wait until next round.

"A fight is happening this way. They might be trying to dispatch the prisoners!" the horrible thought in Aster's head, that they are doing more harm then good here is given voice. Then the wererat woman rushes down the hallway, opening the door, if she can.

Aster continues to fight the poor guard next to her, knowing she is not good at taking anyone down, and that every second spent fighting means a greater chance this mission will fail.

A cold rock falls into the pit of her stomach at the young man's death. She does not throw reproach Vandomir's way, knowing that is the wise move, but hating it nonetheless.

With a sigh, and with tooth and mace, she defends the doorway to the best of her ability.

Aster the rat scampers forward until she is in front of the guard then shifts into Aster the wererat. Blocking his access to the others, and says simply "Please run away."

Aster the rat finds a place to hide.

We have a limited window of distraction, and the boss lady might be out there dealing with that distraction, so I vote to proceed. Someone can grab the notebook so we can negotiate if we run into her.

"That is reassuring, Rexi, thank you." Aster smiles at the other woman, before resuming her rat form to be semi-quite.

right before doing so she will cast Shield other on Bazzle.

"rat poison." Aster tells the others "Made to make wounds not close properly, so any simple scratch can kill in time."

"Okay then" Aster says before shifting to her big rat form. Pear shaped club foot Aster is never quiet unless she is sitting down, so dire rat Aster is their only hope for silence.

Once they are all out of the sewer and into the bathroom Aster will ask quietly. "Do we Hurry or slow and quiet?"

"Oh, I didn't notice." Aster admits. "Too old I guess to be tempted by pretty things." that our her particular inclinations run in a different direction. She bumps lightly shoulders with Rexi "You have us, which is a lot better than nobody." she reassures though she also understands completely.

The steady grind takes its toll. Struggle as she might, she cannot push the boat back upriver.

With Vandomir's lovely strength spell and the fact Aster's legs are not needed for this movement exercise, the paddling continues.

Paddle Paddle Paddle, the pear shaped woman keeps them along the river still.

why would we ever paddle as a move action? Unless we can do two actions then, meaning Vandomir (or Aster if I had declared it) could move us along with another roll?

"I... the barge... um..." Aster frets a bit about the stability of the craft, but the enthusiasm the Skritt show about their creation is too much to brush off. "To not use it would be a crime." she thanks them and then tries to gingerly (with as much grace as she can) board the barge.

Aster finishes her scone, slips the rest of her coffee, and pulls herself to her feet (with a quick dabbing of her lips to make sure their are no crumbs). "Ready" she says.

Left their bodies to rot in the sun?!? Oh goodness... we're the good guys, right?

"If they are after us, I won't be able to run away effectively. I can go to the coffee house leaving the rest of you how are fast and quiet to track them?" Aster offers.

"It would be worth knowing if they are truly looking for us I guess." Aster agrees with crossing once the Armigers have had enough time to leave.

"A day off..." Aster sighs at the prospect, almost like she cannot imagine it. A soft smile follows with an agreement to help out as best she can if a day like that does exist.

At the bridge, Aster looks at the guards.

Do they seem to be looking for somebody or bodies, appear bored, agitated, alert for something.

Aster gets Becky bundled with all her school gear and off to the nanny, giving her a big hug, an extra snuggle, and a snack of honey cakes. Because everyone needs honeycakes.
"Ready?" she checks on Rexi, though Aster is the one that needed extra time.

Then at the lucky bones, she relays the message to the others and agrees with Bazzle's message back. "We can check on the bridge, and if it is still bottled, we can try the sewers."

Dire rats have a swim speed, so Rat-Aster is okay.

Aster is a spontaneous caster so she is no help here. She can make it through the sewers as a rat with ease though, and after seeing Vandomir's lovely use of fastidiousness she now has it as well.

"We'll miss the meeting but we can be caught up in the morning." Aster offers to Rexi "You are welcome to stay at our place tonight if you don't wish to try sleeping at the Bones. Becky had a delightful time at your last visit, so I don't think she'll mind the loss of me only time." she apologizes to the others, saying rumors of too many armed people combined with Men on top of that would be too risky.
