Init stays the same for the whole game. As soon as everybody has posted their Init and prep actions, I'll post an Init order and we can start the killing. Here is the Map
This game won't go as fast as Fake Healer's. I'll only be able to post once a day. If it has been 24 hours since your turn was called, I will take your turn for you. If you know you will be unable to post, you should ask someone on your team to take your turns while you are away.
The plan was to gain XP as you win fights, and have the character stats and a leaderboard on the site. But sice I have created a monster and don't have nearly enough time to keep it restrained, going to let go of the leash. If any one wants to help with the site and approving characters, we'll try to wrangle the beast back to the ground. For now, just level your characters to what ever level the next match you want to play in is set. If you want to play in the next match I'm running, the level is 3rd.

Yes please. All this HTML is making my head hurt. I miss Macromedia MX. And as I never said that the doors are closed, I'll rule that they are open (but I did mean for them to close, I just forgot to SAY it).
Aldurin moves to K5 and attacks Jaycn.
The site is up, but still not finished. Due to the huge intrest, I'm going to ask everyone to do me a favor. 1) Go to my player page. Click "View" and "Source". 2) This should bring up a Notepad file with a bunch of code. Relpace my info with yours. Do not change anything between the "<" and ">" symbols. (if you know how to do HTML, feel free to set up the links on your page) 3) Click "File" and "Save As", type in your alias name using only lower case characters and use under scores for spaces. Then put ".html" after. EX: your_messageboard_alias.html
4) Go to the character template page, and do the same thing. Save as "your_character_name.html" 5) Send me an e-mail with these files attached. I only need one Player page per person, but I need a Character page for each charater you wish to play. My e-mail is: Vissigoth@aol.com If you need help, just ask. Thanks in advace for doing this. This is going to save me a ton of work. If any of the webmonkeys out there know of an easier way to do this, or want to be the "Offical Arena Webmonkey" let me know.

Aldurin moves to M7 and attacks Haad.
Here is the duration of Ennoch's spellCause Fear Duration 1d4=2
Lidda missed. Aldurin moves to N6 and attacks Lidda.
Aldurin's Turn Aldurin attacks Shins with his bastard sword.
Shins is now at -1hp.
I'm taking Shins turn for him. Shins charges toward Aldurin, swinging his heavy flail at Aldurin's kneecaps. Attack & Damage Rolls (1d20+6=12, 1d10+4=8) Shins' flail swings wide of Aldurin, missing him by a few inches. Lidda, your turn.
Wow. I didn't expect so many people to want in on this. Thanks to every one who has shown intrest. Unfortunatly, the first game is already full. I'm working on a site to post the finalized rules and character sheets, but it's taking some time. If you want to make a character for the Arena, please do so, but don't send them to me just yet. I'm not ready to put them up on the site and I'll probably lose them before the site is done. Right now, only the three Core books are allowed. Monster races are allowed as long as they don't have any racial hit dice or a level adjustment. If you are intrested in being an Arena Master, post a list of the books you have access to and proof of your DM skills (preferably a link to a PbP game you have run). After the first game, the Arena Masters will disscuss the possibility of adding non-core books to the Arena. Remember, you can have as many characters as you want. So you can make a Core character now and a non-Core character when the splatbooks become legit. Here is a list of books I own:
I plan on getting:
Ennoch the Black wrote: How tall are the sandbag walls, by the way? Yes, the walls provide cover. +4 to AC, +2 to reflex saves. They cost two squares to move through a space containing a low wall. A DC 20 Tumble check will allow you to move normally over them (DC 25 to charge over them). They are 3' high. It is assumed that you are in a low stance to take advantage of the cover. You don't have to sit or go prone to get the cover bonuses, and you can make attacks and cast spells as normal. I also just noticed that I left the letter "P" off of the map. Don't you guy's just LOVE it when your wife DM's for you while your at work.
Sorry, guy's. I don't know what's wrong with my geo-cities site. Might be all of the orc bondage porn. Let's try this one. If that doesn't work, someone else might have to post the map.
The noise of the crowd is deafening as you check your weapons and prepare your self for the bloodshed to come. The crowd is chanting, "Fight, fight, fight." The doors open and the sunlight momentarily blinds you. The crowd erupts into cheers and applause as you step into the arena. You see your opponents across the arena. It's time for bloodshed. State starting position and roll Init (please use Invisible Castle for all your rolls). Blue starts in the north and Red starts in the South.
New map is up. I suggest you print it out to keep track of movement. It should be obvious, but the Red team starts on the south side and the Blue team starts on the north side. Head over to the PbP thread and post your starting position and Init.
I've made some corrections to your characters. Please let me know if I've made any mistakes. Arctaris
AWED
I'll hopfully finish reviewing characters by saturday.
Ok. Final teams are: Blue Team
Red Team
We can start as soon as I get Aubry's character. |
