The noise of the crowd is deafening as you check your weapons and prepare your self for the bloodshed to come. The crowd is chanting, "Fight, fight, fight." The doors open and the sunlight momentarily blinds you. The crowd erupts into cheers and applause as you step into the arena. You see your opponents across the arena. It's time for bloodshed.

State starting position and roll Init (please use Invisible Castle for all your rolls). Blue starts in the north and Red starts in the South.

Init 1d20+3=18

Lidda starts at A8.

M Human Fighter1

initative-1d20+3=15

Start off on Q10

Male Half-Orc Monk 1

Initiative 1d20+7=21

I'll start at A11

M Human Cleric 1

Initiative: 16

Position: B12

"Right, you lot - I'm in charge here! We strike hard, we strike fast, no quarter!"

Male Halfling Rogue 1

Initiative 12 + 4 = 16
Starting in U5
Talin draws his swords "hehehehehehe lets get some pearly whites"

"Mercy is for the weak!"
Starting of in A11. Initiative: 21

Male Dwarf Druid/1

Starting with Camela on right-side X in the red starting area with Cashmere next to her(on the left).
1d20+6=8 for initiative.

Cashmere, are you are on the same team as I? I'm trying to figure out who's kneecaps I should and shouldn't break.

Aren't our starting positions supposed to be in our respective rally points (in the red or blue sections in the areas marked with Xs or Y)?
Then when the doors all open we come out fighting, right?

FH

Male Human Necromancer 1

1d20+2=4

Starting on V9 unless you decide to start us out in the rally areas like FH is talking about. I assume that the sandbag wall gives me cover of some sort? That's what I'm looking for.

Every body needs to start in their respective color zones please. And two characters can't start in the same square (I'm looking at you, Jacyn and Shins).

I've fixed the letter coodinates so the extend into the starting areas.

Updated Battle Map

Edit: Yes the sandbag walls give you cover.

I can't view the new map, but on the old map, I'll start at A13.

I can't view the new map either.

M Human Cleric 1

Nor me.

"In the name of the Herald of Hell, who is running this arena? I can't see a thing! Couldn't organise a slaughter in an abattoir!"

"Don't you remember that they blind folded us with this cloth on our face, and if not then we are all just blind... DAMN IT!"

Sorry, guy's. I don't know what's wrong with my geo-cities site. Might be all of the orc bondage porn. Let's try this one. If that doesn't work, someone else might have to post the map.

Init order, Teams, and starting positions are:

Jacyn (Blue) B9
Shins (Blue) C4
Lidda (Blue) B8
Haad (Blue) C13
Talin (Red) Z8
Aldurin (Red) Y4
Cashmere (Red) Z12
- Camella Y13:Z14
Ennoch (Red) Z9

Let me know if you've got a problem with your starting position. Sorry about all the map problems.

Male Half-Orc Monk 1

Assumming everyone is happy with their starting positions...

Jacyn steps forward 5 feet to C9 and cast sleep at the intersection of YZ 89, catching both Talin and Enoch in the area. DC16 Will save or fall asleep.

I run forward with a roaring shout "No mercy!" and ready myself should someone come within range.
Moving forward to I4, readying an action to strike anyone who comes within 5ft of me.

Male Halfling Rogue 1

A sudden urge to sleep hits Talin like a ton of bricks. The world goes dark as his eyes close and starts to dream of bathing in blood and gore.
Wills roll
5+2=7

Male Human Necromancer 1

Will save: 1d20+4=6

Ennoch stands ready for battle as the spell washes over him and sends him to the ground, snoring.

I sneer and chortle nastily as the black wizard falls to the ground. "You're first mage!" I shout to the unconcious wizard.

Lidda move to E4. She waits for some poor pitful soul to come her way.

Use the photobucket site - geocities still has a bandwidth limiter I think, especially for images.

M Human Fighter1

Aldurin walks to S6 looks at shins smiling "I can't wait to see your splattering flesh all over the ground when i am finished with you! Then i will hang it all over town heheheh that would be delightful."Aldurin then reaches for his pouch and throws sand at the ground and mumbles to himself, the looks at his foes smiling like a freak.

"Let's see what yer sayin' when I brek yer kneecaps, and some other stuff too, human!" I shout back to Aldurin with a nast chuckle.

FH

Edit: I know that Talin is sleeping but Haad is before him.

This is f&%#ing awesome.

My husband, paizo avatar Vissigoth, came up with the idea. He has a good imagination. The map was made by Fake Healer who is one of the player. Fake Healer did a very good job with it.

FH

M Human Cleric 1

"What, we've bloody started and no one told me? What sort of a place is this? An absolute bloody shower! That's what this place is!"

Casting Shield of Faith, +2 AC (deflection). Moving to F13.

Unless Aldurin wants to change his action, it's Cashmere's turn.

Male Halfling Rogue 1

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......mmmm no mom don't take my knives away mmm...Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Male Dwarf Druid/1

Camela! Attack the scum! (Camela moves to n12-13&o12-13)
Awaken you lazy piece of camel dung! We are at battle! (Cashmere moves to z10 and b~!@*-slaps Ennoch the Black into wakefulness)

Ennoch's turn....

Male Human Necromancer 1

Ennoch snaps from his impromptu slumber and snarls. "Damnable wretch!" He calls out over the battlefield. "How dare you!"

The necromancer rises to his feet with a thankful nod to Cashmere and casts a spell to protect himself.

Move action to stand, casting mage armor. How tall are the sandbag walls, by the way?

My assumption was they provide cover like low walls (+4 ac, +2 reflex saves)but the Arenamaster would know exactly.

I'm mostly wondering if I'm able to hop over them or if I'll need to go all the way around.

Most low walls run about 2'-3' in height. I assume these are those type but I don't know if you would need a jump check(I would think not but they may cost extra movement to get through, like difficult terrain)

but the DM will know for sure...I mean, the Arenamaster!

FH

Yes you can go over them but they count as two squares.

Good to know. Thanks! This would presumably inhibit charging as well.

Jacyn is up so blue guys are all attacking.

FH

Male Half-Orc Monk 1

Watch out for the camel guys, it's a real threat.

I shoot Camela with my Crossbow. 1d20+3=9

Miss.

I then crouch behind the wall (while still peering just over the top to keep an eye on the battle) to gain some cover as I reload my Crossbow.

Ennoch the Black wrote:

Yes, the walls provide cover. +4 to AC, +2 to reflex saves. They cost two squares to move through a space containing a low wall. A DC 20 Tumble check will allow you to move normally over them (DC 25 to charge over them).

They are 3' high. It is assumed that you are in a low stance to take advantage of the cover. You don't have to sit or go prone to get the cover bonuses, and you can make attacks and cast spells as normal.

I also just noticed that I left the letter "P" off of the map.

Don't you guy's just LOVE it when your wife DM's for you while your at work.

Male Dwarf Druid/1

Camela! Whew! All praises to the desert spirits. You will pay for des attack against mine friend!
