"It's okay." The young shapeshifter says after a moment. "it wasn't for anything important anyway.."
"I'm sorry, Pyry."

Archimedes says nothing...

Male Human Fighter(Tactician)/Marshal

"If Pyry wants to go alone, but doesn't know how... Why don't you put him in a shuttle that is completely auto-piloted, or possibly controlled remotely from here?" Archimedes suggests to Ghalen, wanting to help the inquisitor.

Sorry to interrupt your reading. I was curious about your time at the observatory this morning. How was it?"
"It was a little disappointing. It needs to be in perfect condition to see what I wanted to look for, and it's not going to be there for much longer." The young firebird says sadly. "But is still the most amazing thing I've ever seen!"

"Although their relationship would be more akin to that of humans and chimpanzes.
They are natural shapeshifters, one form is that of a large phoenix-like bird, the other is humanoid. They are virtually immune to heat to the point that fire actually cures them, and cold hurts them. Some of them can manipulate fire as easily as we breathe air.
Returning to the subject of Pyry, he is a special case. It seems that every once in a while, a firebird is born with a genetic abnormality. In Pyry's case, he can manipulate and consume cold, at the expense of his race's natural fire abilities.
I'm telling you this, simply because he was exiled, either by his family or self imposed, and was living in the wild for years. Previously, in his culture, it was illegal to be an abnormality.
As a result, he is very shy and untrusting. I would not want misunderstandings born out of ignorance of the situation. Forewarned is forearmed, as they say."

"Anomalous creatures are possibly a boon to a society, though if the race is acclimated to extreme heat, the possibility of the heat-vulnerable child surviving for any length of time is very slim..." Archimedes is scientific in his statement, not judging the person yet, "Though having this information will help me prevent misunderstanding the person I am to meet."

"I have had no formal education about that race, though I would assume that they are possibly related to phoenix's in some fashion." Archimedes replies succinctly

"Very well." he begins walking the way the arrow on the wall indicates...

"Some pointers, Iosus:
This school is some sort of living construct. You see the arrow I'm following? If you place a hand on the wall and ask aloud for a person, if they are on school grounds, an arrow will lead you to them. Also, you'll find your quarters will seem to mold themselves to your expectations, providing furniture and the like suitable to your tastes. There are wards in place, here, also. These wards protect the students from one another. If you intend to strike a student to do cause harm, you'll find yourself teleported into a detention area before the blow lands. As you're here, I'm sure you'll see why this is necessary.
This world also has similar, powerful wards protecting it. If you leave with the intent to tell it's enemies of the world's existence, you will find all traces of your memories regarding this world erased.
There are all manner of students here, of all different races. Kobolds, Ogres, Humans, Firebirds, Tieflings, Lycanthropes...and many more. One of the first lessons I learned here: Do not judge a book by it's cover. Very few students here would ever be considered helpless, and very few of them are stereotypical of their race." pauses to see if Iosus has any questions so far...

"Yes, Mister Kiln, The School is a construct that reads minds, there are wards in place to protect the students, this world will not allow people to tell of this world to the Empire, Do not judge the students before you actually understand them." Archimedes repeats back,

A world you cannot leave without it destroying your mind. No wonder Lieutenant Kiln is undercover. They might force him to leave if they believe he is not on their side.

Nodding to the draconic student, Archimedes analyzes his stature, demeanor, and the subtle hints given off by the reptilian, more by training/habit than any other reason.

what specifically are you looking for in his eyes, the color of them is brown with gold flecks

They say the eyes are the windows to the soul...

"I am not at liberty to provide you with the details of my station, I am sure you understand."

"That's weird, but of a refuge not quite sure of all the details, but what I did know got me here," the man before you has regal features though at your response, though whether it's at the lack of recognition or the lack of introduction on your part is unclear

His armor is top of the line and colored in an eye catching red and gold with black accents, and a discerning eye can tell it is heavily modified
He holds himself like someone used to getting his way And who thinks of himself as highly skilled.

"I am Archimedes Iosus." he supplies, noticing his reaction.

His outfit is simple padded affair with imperial markings and a small silver rod in a holster strapped to his thigh, much like other people would carry a dagger. It appears to be nothing more than a baton

Iosus's stance is one of preparedness, as if you were going to attack him and he will defend himself. His dull brown eyes analyze you to the utmost degree... especially your eyes....

"The enemy? Heh, I think we have differing reasons for leaving home, eh? How rude,I forgot to introduce myself I'm Arthur Barren, maybe you've heard of me"given what you've said of his backstory you probably won't recogonize Arthur (though you might) though you probably would recognize his last name in combination with the symbol on his left pectoral you would recognize his dad Antonious

"Definitely, I was taken from my home against my will, to be deposited here. I had no choice in the matter." He says while sizing you and your equipment up.

Full description of you please? Extremely analytical mind at work
