Very cute comic. I have added it to my list. 8^) That said, I have a couple of questions and comments. (Intended as constructive criticism; hopefully they come across that way. 8^) Do you have a "Current comic" page? I saw the category, but it doesn't have the most recent strip. Some of the strips had some pretty small text, that was hard to read. Could you increase their size, or just make the text larger? (Some of us are getting old here. 8^)
Hello Wonderful Paizo CS People! Please cancel my currently pending subscription order, and my AP subscription. I'm sorry to go (and to lose my Charter tag), but shifting financial priorities (and an absolute lack of interest in Strange Aeons) are dictating my departure. (I was going to keep the sub long enough for the Curse of the Crimson Throne HB to come out, to get the discount and free PDF, since that outweighed the cost of a coupe AP issues, but with its delay, I don't think it's worth it anymore.) I will keep an eye out, and may come back on for the next AP.
Hi, I just got my order auth email for this month's sub order. It included a few of the new Munchkin items that I had sidecarted last week. It listed the order going in two shipments, but that was okay. Then I got a second email that seemed to say the Munchin items were put back in my sidecart. Looking at my account, and my orders page, that appears to be the case. Just wondering what's up with this. It's not a big deal, as long as I get them eventually, but wanted to ask. 8^)
I'm pretty boring. Other than being generally "weird" - odd sense of humor, interested in most geeky stuff, etc. - my the biggest thing about me is that I am very introverted. I am perfectly happy, most of the time, to be alone. I could happily go for days without seeing another person. Even if I'm surrounded by people, as long as I don't have to interact with them, I'm fine. I can interact when I need to, but it takes energy. I doubt this is anywhere near a mental health issue, though. Occasionally, I wonder about OCD or ADD or other things, but seldom very seriously. I certainly haven't been diagnosed with anything...

Exactly. The amount I save by keeping the 15% discount and getting the PDF for free by still being a subscriber is more than what I would spend on the next couple AP issues.

We spent pretty much every waking moment (outside of work, etc.) playing that. Those two characters just "clicked" so well we couldn't stay away. 8^) (Okay, it might have been closer to two months, but still...)
Wow. Yeah. Gotta have this. My wife and I tore through the original CotCT AP in about a month, back when it was fairly new. I *WAS* planning to cancel my AP sub after Hell's Vengeance, but if I want this in print and PDF, I'm better off extending my sub a couple more months! (Between the AP sub discount and the free PDF!) Good play, Paizo. 8^)
On the Additional Rules page, in the Overland Movement section, the Table: Mounts and Vehicles is REAAAAALY wide. Possibly because the footnotes of the table aren't line breaking. (On Chrome 47.0.2526.106 on Mac OS X 10.11.2.) Edit: URL'd.
IANAL:
I Am Not A Lawyer I have seen many comics and comic strips (largely webcomics) that use game mechanics, spells, magic items, races, classes, etc. in their comic. Including a reference to the OGL would probably be safest, but MAY not be necessary. A lot of those terms are generic enough, you might be able to make an argument you're not using them as game terms. As for the PI, and assuming you're using the Pathfinder world: If the comic you're making is just for fun - i.e., you're not planning to sell comic books or anything along those lines, but just put it up online - you might be able to use Paizo's Community Use Policy. Make sure you read through it thoroughly so you understand the terms, and know if it applies to your case.
Arazyr was a name I came up with for a background character for a story I was writing, set in my homebrew campaign setting. It was just random syllables that sounded vaguely decent. 8^) Since the Arazyr in my story was a powerful wizard, I decided to use an "old man" avatar pic. I guess it kind-of worked out, since back in Intermediate School (what we called Jr. High where I grew up) a classmate once took to calling me "Grandpa" - because he thought I looked like an old man. Not sure where he got that from. Anyway, sometime before I signed up on the paizo.com, I decided to consolidate my online identity. I had been using several different pseudonyms; the main one was something I took from a Spelljammer monster: DeGleash. One of the Plasmoids. But, I decided I wanted to use one thing everywhere, and I didn't want to use something "stolen", so I remembered the NPC from that story and switched to using that name. Has the advantage of being *almost* never taken.
My wife and I met at a roleplaying group. It was something my brother had been part of for a few years and so, when I moved back to this side of the state after college, he brought me in. Ironically, the game is now hosted at our house (after the guy who started it had a stroke, not long before our wedding), and I actually don't play in that one anymore. But, we are in a number of other games together at the moment (mostly Pathfinder, but still some 3.5), and are starting to get our kids (ages 5 and 7) into RPGs. 8^) As another irony, she actually approached me about dating, and it was pretty much immediately after I had (privately) decided to stop actively looking for that sort of thing. So, sometimes these things come at you when you least expect it. 8^)
I've been running a campaign that is delving into Gallowspire, and per the description in Dungeons of Golarion, the Upper Crypts level has corpse-like undead melding into larger composite monsters. I was wondering what published monsters are out there that I could use for this? I have found the Necrocraft and Warsworn from Bestiary 4. Are there any others that you folks can think of?
I have another request, but a couple of questions first... If I have you folks put my AP sub on suspension, do I
(I will also confess up front that part of why I'm thinking about doing this is to save them up until I have enough to get the shipping discount. Is it okay to "game the system" like that?)
If the prestige class actually has a spellcasting progression of its own, with spells per day and/or spells known by level, then another prestige class could enhance that. Mystic Theurge does not have a spellcasting progression of its own, so another prestige class (such as Arcane Trickster) could not enhance that. They would both enhance whatever base classes spellcasting progressions you have.
If I remember correctly, Crypt of the Everflame is specifically designed as an introductory adventure. It even has a couple of sequels.
