Can we say that hit took me out of the fight? I'm leaving the country in two days and won't be back for a bit over a week, and will be too busy touristing to post. Dodge check anyways: 1d100 ⇒ 59 Nope.

"The abominable intelligence speaks! Do you truly have a will, or are you spattering words programmed in to you?" Akakd takes another swing at the machine. aim+attack TN 69: 1d100 ⇒ 43

Akkad pulls out a grenade, takes a moment to pick out a spot, and throws the frag into the mass of the scarabs, trying to not hit his allies. Aim, Standard attack
I don't know where the grenade went, but I'm pretty sure I didn't hurt any of us with it. EDIT: Except 1 point of damage from the zealous hatred.

Akkad simultaneously releases an otherworldly screech while hissing, "Quiet, fool!" He takes a moment to compose himself, and says, "These xenos follow a radically different path than our race. Let us look upon their works, and see what fruits it bore them"

"Teleportation is through the warp, and their sudde demises would leave a psychic echo. Let's see what this is..." Psyniscience TN 63: 1d100 ⇒ 62 EDIT: My psyniscience is active at all times thanks to the whole possessed thing, I would also like to know what I see, if anything, when Taloc approaches it.

"Son of Angron, brother, your father's implants were dramatically different. Were you in Ultramar, when our fathers ravaged the Five Hundred Worlds? You will live until slain in battle, but Angron had less than a decade before his nails would kill him. That is why my father worked so hard, and his sons sacrificed so much, to bring him ascension. Lorgar was the only one who ever loved Angron, hated by the rest of his brothers, hated by his father, hated by himself. Our greatest hero died there, but your father is now eternal, and free of the nails."

Akkad approaches Draex, though not closely, and says, "Hold, champion of Khorne. They have no blood to spill, their skulls are worthless to your god. They are merely weapons, let our forge master examine them and decide what to do with these dead machines."

"Magnus is now a creature of the Architect of Fate, and he sent us here for a myriad purposes. What is the significance of this xenos structures and the automata guarding it, and how does it fit into the schemes of his god?" Akkad waits just inside the monolith for his fellows to finish studying the broken machines, anxious to explore this mystery.

Sneaking ahead of Draex... "You dare stand before me? Disgusting construct." Akkad presses the attack Aim+Attack TN 79: 1d100 ⇒ 56
Other effects:
Felling 4 - reduce unnatural toughness by 4 Concussive 0 - target needs to make a toughness (-0) test or be stunned for one round per degree of failure, and is knocked prone if it takes more damage than its str bonus. Tell me, little passenger, what do you make of these things? Akkad uses the daemon's sight to look upon the automata and their monolith. Psyniscience TN 63: 1d100 ⇒ 91

Akkad pays his respects to the awesome being before him. "You have always been wise, one who understands that no knowledge is proscribed and all must be attained. Yet, you do not know what has come to you, and desire to understand. How have we found brotherhood with these sons of different fathers? One of your sons has taken this cause. Sons of Lorgar have taken to this. You desire to learn why."

It is a heavy choice to walk away from one's heritage, and Akkad spends much time meeting with Sargon, trying to understand his path and what led him to serve as Abaddon's prophet, along with any secrets or wisdom he has picked up along the way. The day will come when he must return to Sicarus, and Akkad wants to be ready. I want to find some more rituals, particularly the one to make a daemon weapon and ones to bind more kinds of daemons. How silly would pseudo-daemonhood be on a possessed dude with the illusion of normality/normalcy (I will not stop pointing out they call it one thing in the table and another in text)? I need to think about this. Psuedo-daemonhood is definitely interesting, chaos organ is always nice, dimensional instability seems weird, headless is too goofy, the rest are too meh or useless.
