For my scenario posted above "The easy way or the hard way", after play-testing a bit, I found that adding the wildcard 'Perils - Hostile' made the scenario harder than I intended. I have decided to instead change it with Perils - Hazardous. I feel this is both more thematic and in-line with what I wanted the scenario to be: one where the party has to rely on non-combat checks more than usual.
Oh, this seems fun. I'll give it a shot: Legal Notice:

THE EASY WAY OR THE HARD WAY You and your companions have been hired to accompany a caravan of merchants and refugees fleeing the Gravelands to the south, through the now-infamous Fangwood. Tired from your excursion through the undead-infested territories, you think about your briefing, where your venture captain assured you that the Kobold problems of years past haven been thoroughly dealt with in the Fangwood and that, once through the Gravelands, your trip should be an easy one. Of course, things are never that easy. The scout accompanying your caravan delivers to you some troubling news: the only pass through the Torondel River is apparently being guarded by a hooded group, and they look armed. Avoiding them is possible, but it would add a week or more to your already harrowing journey. Surely, a solution can be reached if you just meet with them, either the easy way or the hard way. You tell them as much when you meet with them and explain your situation and reveal your intention to go through what you assume are their lands. When weapons are drawn and a summoning circle is activated as a response to your reasonable request, you have no recourse but to assume they choose the hard way, unless... Hi! I'm looking to begin playing via PbP of Pathfinder 2nd Edition. I have been playing since the game came out to the public and are reasonably familiar with the system. I also have about 4 years of experience playing 1st Ed. and, though I am no expert, I feel comfortable with designing and playing even moderately complex characters. I have been playing the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game over PbP for almost 2 years now, so I can show that I have no problem checking the forums periodically and contributing frequently, though I have no direct experience with PbP for PF 2e specifically. In terms of characters, I'm open to filling any role that might be missing. Most of my favorite characters have been support-oriented. Please send me a message if you have a spot for me in your table and think I would be a good fit. Thank you in advance for your consideration!

Fangwood Thieves is stand-alone, afaik. You can use the same character in any other game from tiers 1-3. If you will be using that character for a tier 1 adventure, I would advise you to wait as long as possible to tier up since you might otherwise end up having to retire your character before reaching the end of the season. Once the other players all catch up with you, you should be good.

I'm down to continue on this table. I've enjoyed playing with all of you very much. I mentioned earlier in the discord channel that I personally would like to play Season of the Runelords to unlock Sharda and eventually play as her. It's also Season 2, so we could do some sort of progression through the Seasons! Other than that, I'd like to play any of the full seasons that I haven't played: Runelords, Factions Favor, Sanctioned CoTC or Rotting Ruin. Edit: I forgot. Deck-upgrade wise, the only real upgrade would be for Uliah to get the Ally 6. If anyone else wants to take that though, I'll concede it.

Hi all! Sorry for not posting here earlier. I hadn't noticed we already had a thread. I went through my class decks, and noticed I have played very little with my Ultimate Combat deck. As such, I would like to use it. Here's a list of characters I would like to play that I have come up with: -(Warpriest)Oloch + UC (closest to ideal. he's slow but very reliable on combat related checks)
Alternatively, I'm yet to use my Oracle Class deck, so I would be happy to play Grazzle or Alhazra + UM. I'm open to suggestions as well! I own:
Congratulations Keith! Hopefully you can still find time to play PbP with us mortals from time to time, though! On the other hand, I really, really like the idea of supporter feats and making Korvosa better as the game progresses. I know I echo the sentiments of at least a few players when I say that I would really like to see this concept expanded into a full-blown, legacy-style adventure. I think Kingmaker would be perfect for this!
EmpTyger wrote: When I learned that specials only ran at Tier 2 (1-3) and Tier 5 (4-6), I had assumed (without any supporting data whatsoever, I should say) that it was because there wasn't enough demand for higher-level tiers, and most play was at Tier 1. I assume this to be true as well, but more over, I think Tier 2 and Tier 5 are chosen simply because this way everyone can play, and if adjustments to difficulty are needed, then those are minimized as well (having to only edit one set of scenarios). That being said, I would support getting a higher tier variant of the same scenarios, especially for Tier 6 since, as Nathan pointed out, Special-only characters are simply never going to get access to their coolest, most powerful cards otherwise. Alternatively, could we figure out a way to allow higher tier characters to get tiers of their tier level with some kind of trade-off? Maybe the currently un-used 3rd, 5th and 6th games of a tier could instead grant a reward that went something along the lines of: "Draw a random card from the box with an adventure number of at least your tier -1. You may add this card to your deck."

I will choose weapon for my scenario reward. Let's see what I get. Weapons in Uliah's box:
1)Walking Stick 2)Spelldagger 3)Djinni Quarterstaff 4)Mind's Eye Blade 5)Staff of Dark Flame 6)Cauterizing Blade 9)Glaive 10)Bastard Sword 11)Longsword 12)Longspear 13)Heavy Pick 14)Scimitar 15)Dwarven Longhammer +1 16)Cold Iron Greatsword 17)Elven Curve Blade 18)Lucerne Hammer 19)Warhammer +2 20)Flaming Scimitar +1 21)Greatclub +1 22)Icy Hooked Hammer +1 23)Wounding Spear-Axe +1 24)Shock Greatsword +2 25)Golembane Hammer +2 Bonus Weapon: 1d25 ⇒ 6 That's a dex-based weapon, so it wouldn't make sense for Uliah to grab it, despite it being a free Cure on a fail. For Uliah's deck upgrade, I would like to take the Blessing 3, or if someone else wants to take that, the Spell 4. During this mission, Uliah banished Detect Evil, so I will be filling that hole with Spell 2: Weapon of Awe. For the next scenario, knowing what I know about WotR Adv 5, Fasciculus Labyrinthum seems to me to be the best choice as there are many, many effects that move you to locations that are very hard or costly to get out of, so my vote is to go chasing Hepzamirah again.

Reporting! I have a few options for who to play, but I wanted to get some feedback from the others before definitely choosing one. Listing them in order of preference: - Enora - UM +OA2 (or the WotR version, if preferred)
For Enora, I would aim for utility spells and then eventually go for White Mage to serve as a healer of sorts. Amli is great for support, since blessings used on her checks allow people to recharge a card of their own and can give bonuses to others by displaying armors in her hand. Yoon is fun blaster with some auto-sustain abilities. I only own the UM deck, so I'm limited to using that with my characters. All of the characters above are tier 1, and Amli and Yoon have 1 game under their belts each.

Hi all! I've reached out to the other BRs and BR Redeux was kind enough to generate the missing 3-1 Chronicle Sheet for us. Please find them in the link below: He asked me to let you know that if there are any issues, we can contact him at redeux@orgplayonline.com
Male Half-Orc Harrower
I see. I can also Augury for monster on turn 1 and put at least 2 of those monsters at the bottom of my starting location. If someone else goes before me, then make sure to move at least 1 of the monster to the Cathedral of Chaos so that I can put them all at the bottom of the location.
Male Half-Orc Harrower
In order of preference: -Scarab Sages: Darago and Mavaro are very good against both of these locations
Male Half-Orc Harrower
I don't think we need to pause. I am going to take advantage of my BR boon and check off a box to gain an additional deck upgrade for this mission. It's hard to decide what to get; I would really like one of each of the boons we have available. I think I will stick to my preferred upgrades: Weapon 3 and Item 3. For my skill feat, I'll choose Charisma to round out my Mythic Path advantages. Then finally, let's see if we can get a convention boon: Convention Boon 1-3A: 1d20 ⇒ 17 Still not meant to be.
Male Half-Orc Harrower
Hi! I've chosen to play as Mavaro from OA2 with Ultimate Magic added to his box. He's still tier 1, but has 3 games already under his belt. I'm also new to doing specials in general. I know this one involves interactions with other tables, so I'm interested in seeing how this will play out and if there's anything special to keep in mind while playing this event. Looking forward to playing with you all!
Male Half-Orc Harrower
For the reward, I will pick Ally for Mavaro. Allies OA2+UM:
Kami Medium Elemental Ascetic Harrowed Society Student Talisman Crafter Cook Psychokineticist Apprentice Chronicler Magical Child Talisman Crafter Riftwarden Staffbearer Random Ally: 1d12 ⇒ 6 Psychokineticist! Nice! I'll keep it. As my deck upgrade, I'll grab the other Armor B and swap the Armor of the Sands for the Stalking Armor. Then, while building my deck, I will treat the Psyckokineticist as if it was of my favored type (item for this mission) and I'll swap him out with my Bestiary of Garund.
Male Half-Orc Harrower
I agree with the above on the grounds of Brielle very likely not having landed on the Wounded lands. DavidC, you can try to move out of the Cavern if you like, but if you do so you will have to roll 1d6. As a player though, it doesn't seem sane to try and go defeat the villain when we already have people positioned to take the villain out and you have much better chances to defeat the bat AND close the cavern for good this turn.
Male Half-Orc Harrower
Piggybacking on EmpTyger's points about the villain, it is imperative that we close the Chasm of Shadows ASAP, because there's nothing worse than finding that villain by surprise. If we can scout him out through examining cards, our lives will be that much easier. I think I'm not exaggerating when I say this is our hardest scenario yet...so bring your A game everyone!
Male Half-Orc Harrower
For Uliah's card feat, I will choose Weapon. As for deck upgrades: Weapon 2: 1d1000 ⇒ 641
I also wouldn't mind trading the Scale of Disguise for the Scale of Sacred Weaponry, unless someone else wants to use it. Finally, I think I remember that Redeux mentioned this game would count as part of the convention, so rolling for potential convention boon: Boon on 1 or 20: 1d20 ⇒ 2
Male Half-Orc Harrower
Alright. I will jump in in that case. I'll be coming in with Mavaro. He is a new character but I'll really only be behind during the first tier and will catch up with the rest of you fairly quickly. I figured I should grab someone that can fill as many holes as possible, and Mavaro is great at that. He should come in handy when it's time to face armies. I'm just waiting for someone to help me add the character to our Box and then we'll be ready to go with 1-1C.
Male Half-Orc Harrower
I'm sorry to hear that. If you want to, you can start another character. You would only be 2 games behind the rest of the group and would catch up to them by the end of this Adventure. If not, I could also jump in with one of my own characters (I happen to have a character with only 1 tier 1 game) to fill out the slot.
I'll jump in the promotion wagon to let my players know our table is set up. Akaitora's Season of the Righteous Table Still waiting for Maelwys0 and DavidC to dot over there.
Male Half-Orc Harrower
The Melee check is a non-combat check, so Torah adds 2 die. My current hand is slightly better than it was against the first army, so I feel I can defeat the Divine check. I understand it makes the last check harder, but I think not having to temp close makes our lives easier and allows us to concentrate on finding the villain without spreading out as much. My vote is for 1)
Male Half-Orc Harrower
I believe she would have acquired the Knight's Pennon regardless, but I think using Good Omen for it is a good compromise. On the other hand, we've got another army. Should we deploy the default strategy? There aren't as many cards on the Family Tomb so going for the opportunistic win is still on the table but it sounded like there were enough blessings around the table to try and defeat it.
Male Half-Orc Harrower
It's not a bad plan. I would probably bury my armor for this, so similar than losing a combat check. I think deliberately failing the check would be my preference for this instance. However, we should probably try to figure out what we'd like to do going forward for the armies. Uliah right now has a decent, although far from perfect chance of doing the Divine 16 check with 1d10+1d4+6 base Divine skill (while he has a Mount ally in his hand), so a single blessing bumps his chances to around 80%. We probably all can make the Combat checks easily, but since Nyctessa can't really do any of the others, she should probably get one of them, along with perhaps Amaryllis. Athnul is probably best suited to make the Fortitude check, since she has 1d10+4 base skill, so again, a single blessing brings us up to almost 80%. Lastly, Ramexes is better suited than Uliah for the Melee check with 1d8+5 VS my 1d6+2. In this case, a single blessing brings us up to only about 75% chance, but it is still pretty good. I believe this is the most efficient way to deal with the armies at any given time.
