![]() Baerlie and Razfalo, it is my understanding of the PFS guide (p.6 of the new version) that the pregen's gear may only be sold to clear his own conditions, not other people's. Hence Kuraishimo's calculation is correct and I'll chip in the said amount (1850 gp) to help Rhull get back on his feet. By the way Oloch, I think that scroll could be useful anyway - invisibility is very common at our level. Mavaro, the guide also states that you can contribute to clear conditions (such as death and negative levels) with the resources (gp/pp) of the character you're applying the chronicle sheet to. ![]()

![]() Let's do this. Mavaro pays for his raise dead with his gear (5550gp, plus 1280gp for each restoration - one can be done at once, the other will have to be done at the end of the scenario). Rhuul, we can chip in for your raise dead, or your restoration, but it would help if we don't pay it all in gold. A raise dead is 16pp or 5550gp. A restoration is 4pp or 1280gp to remove a permanent negative level. My insight is that it would be cheaper to pay for the restoration with prestige (4pp now, 4pp at the end of the scenario), while we could chip in for the raise dead to be paid in cash, if you can afford it. The only questions are what your current funds and pp are. I'll check my last chronicle sheet at home this afternoon to know how much I can contribute. -Posted with Wayfinder ![]()

![]() Now that we have all the elements in hand to make an educated decision, yes, it is. I'll go with the majority of course, yet here are my thoughts: - We don't need gentle repose if the cleric raising the dead is 10th level. It's only one more level than the minimum level to cast that spell, so I'm pretty confident that won't be a problem. (By the way, what do you mean by "We all know what that means"? Could you be explicit, please?) - The group hasn't had a chance to prove what it can do because of that blasphemy, which was completely unavoidable. I say we take another shot at proving what we can do. - I'm not concerned about the lack of such and such role, since PFS scenarios can be completed by very odd party compositions. - That mimic was way above what is to be expected for an APL 8-9 party, both in terms of CR, hp, DCs, etc. Quite frankly how it bypassed editing is beyond me. It's definitely not an average monster for that tier. I'm confident we can deal with more normal foes. I'd like to hear the others' opinion about that. -Posted with Wayfinder ![]()

![]() Quite frankly, it's your call. The way I see it, either the scenario sets a time limit (such as "After 2 days a great evil is released upon the world and the PCs lose"), or it doesn't and we can do it. I haven't read the scenario so I don't have the answer to that question, but I believe it's your call to make as a GM, while keeping the guidelines of PFS in mind. That's what I would do as a GM, for what it's worth. -Posted with Wayfinder ![]()

![]() What a deadly monster... Anyway, best not dwell on it but move on. Provided that we aren't on a clock, we should return to the lodge, have Rhuul and Mavaro raised from the dead, then come back. Will the scenario allow that, GM? Because I don't think we'll have a chance at the rest of this dungeon with two valued party members dead. I hope everyone will agree to chip in for the spells to raise our dead, I know I do. -Posted with Wayfinder
