Hey all.
I'm running Rise of the Runelords right now, and I have to say that the single most frustrating thing is trying to remember what volume references what material. I remember their was an artile on Desna, but which issue?
This is one of those problems that will get worse as we get more and more APs.
To that end, I'd like to suggest putting in an index in the final volume of each Pathfinder arc. Would this be possible?
Some of the trouble will be 'fixed' when I have alternate sources of material. For example, the calendar is something I can't find at the moment, but it will probably be covered in the Guide coming out in the near future.

I think for right now we're hoping a reader jumps in and does a Pathfinder Index in the spirit of the wonderful DragonDex.
*hint hint*

I'll help work on it! not the best webpage person, so don't want to design it, but I'll definatly help with data input - I already have a bunch of it written out at home (everything up to the shipment of PF5+6 in both PF and GMM lines)

Tell me more. Or better yet, please provide linkies. :)
Your wish is my command.
The two wikis are Pathfinder Wiki and Heroes of Golarion. People are just getting started, so there isn't a lot of content in either place.

Thanks tbug! Do you happen to know who is running those wikis? If you are running either one, please drop me an email. :)

Edit: that and we've asked a few times which info from the blogs and such is able to be used (especially the maps from the blogs was a 'not sure if i can use those' spot)

You guys have no idea the levels of OCD that went into that DragonDex. I frightened myself at times.
To do a similar project for Pathfinder, I'd say it should index:
* All the main Pathfinder issues
* All the Pathfinder Chronicle books
* All the Pathfinder Companion books
* All the 32-page modules, and
* The Players Guides

Actually Andrew, I have already begun an index that will include all of that. I have the first six Pathfinder issues, both player's guide, and module D0. I will be working on getting the other GameMastery modules added this week.

Thanks for the contributions Deaddmwalking. Please spread the word about the new site. I will continue to transfer the info I have, but will focus on updating and maintaining the index and the website itself.
How can we contribute? Are there any guidelines? I'd like to register and help contribute to the building, but I'm not sure how.

Never mind, I see how to register and I'm learning on the fly!

Yeah, just sign up on the website and it will allow you to being editting. As far as guidelines, I'd say just try to be as organized as possible. As we grow, maybe one or two people will be in charge of editing, but the point of a wiki is for the community as a whole to take responsibility and maintain.
As far as learning how the wiki formatting works, check out MediaWiki for lots of how-to guides.
Feel free to drop me a line at finerion@gmail.com if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions.
Thanks!

You guys rock, BTW. I have created a login for the wiki.
For the time being, I think a safe and useful way of working this would be to generate lists (there's a chap on another thread who already posted a ton of lists, so that might be a good place to start). Lists of names (countries, NPCs, gods, etc.) and where those names came from would be handy, I would think. Other lists as you think of them. :)
But that's just my initial suggestion/idea. I'll help when I can, but I'm pretty slammed for the rest of March, at least.
