Rorlu signals everyone to follow him, getting Velokraxis to move up to one of the Pine Brutes. Then, Rorlu pierces the Pine Brute. Unfortunately, not all of that goes through.
Velokraxis lifts into the air and comes down to attack the Pine Brute. They also pierce the Pine Brute, but do not do any damage to it.
Loompecker meanwhile recalls that Pine Brutes have Resistance 5 to Bludgeoning and Piercing, and Weakness 5 to Axes and Fire. They exploit that vulnerability to do extra damage. Help me here. I've added the exploit damage. Do I also add the Weakness damage? Do I ignore the Resistance? I've read the Thaumaturge class. And, I think the answers are 'No' and 'Yes' respectively. But, if you have a definite ruling on this, I would appreciate it.
The weapons seems to stick to the Pine Brute. Reflex Save DC 17 vs Pine Sap (if you fail, it either has the effect of a Glue Bomb on you, or you can let go of the weapon, which will stick to the Pine Brute)

Following the villagers’ directions, you travel the Spirit Road toward the east, taking the same path that the caravan traveled before them. Along the journey, the road branches off several times, typically only for a short distance before rejoining the main road or reaching a dead end. The seemingly endless rows of conifer trees create a serene yet monotonous backdrop.
It begins snowing. All Perception checks (including Initiative) get a -2 Circumstance Penalty
The path is choked with snowdrifts, making it too narrow for a wagon to traverse easily. The wagon regularly catches on roots or stalls in the snow. Overall, these impediments slow the wagon to a speed of 10 feet.
While weather has obscured the trail, you soon see obvious signs that the caravan before you ran into similar difficulties, evidenced by broken branches, and pieces of a broken wagon wheel.
You are approached by the outline of some kind of humanoid. It is outlined by the falling snow.
Each of these seems to look at you for a moment, then moves slowly toward you in a nonthreatening manner, hovering just above the ground.

These types of spirits are not strong enough to take control of a body they possess, but they may influence their host’s thinking and behavior by superimposing their own consciousness.

Rorlu sees flashes of memory as the caravan is beset by creatures native to the forest, all the while harried by a humanoid thief that appears to have a fox’s head and tail.

The spirit observed the thief infiltrate one of the wagons while the guards were distracted repelling the attack, and then sneak away holding a sack of clanging valuables.
The second spirit witnessed the thief's escape from the battle, following him to a clearing deeper in the woods. There, the spirit observed the kitsune behave in a way that belies his motivation for stealing the relic.
The thief immediately retrieved the relic and a book from his satchel, poring over some text and eagerly reciting incantations under his breath.

The humanoid managed to steal a sack from the caravan that clang.
It looks like the creature managed to get a relic and a book and maybe trying to initiate a ritual"

There is a clearing deeper in the woods that the fox headed one is set up. It is hard to tell exactly where they are from the visions. I think we'll still need to track them down, but I'll try to help with what I've seen
