Flynric steps up and takes a deep breath. His small owl companion, Pearl, is perched on his shoulder.

As he begins, he nods to Pearl, who arcs into the air. With slow graceful movements, he spins around while Pearl glides in circles above.

He increases the intensity, and Pearl dives, mirroring Flynric's dramatic arm movements.

And then he slows for the finale as the music (in his head) comes to an end, with Pearl landing gracefully on his shoulder to conclude.

Toshiro steps forward and performs a "smooth prankster" dance that involves backslides and other moves that deceive the eye. He grins as he finishes his performance.

Mahatma does his best to recall a series of interesting groups that the Pathfinder Society has encountered over the years, and tries to do a series of moves that evokes them.

Mahatma starts with a wave that is inspired by the Monastary of the Unbroken Waves.

PFS Lore for the Wave: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 5 + 2 = 8
Hero Point: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 5 + 2 = 18

Then Mahatma dances a tango with his shadow, calling upon the the Onyx Alliance and their home in the Plane of Shadows.

PFS Lore for Shadow Dance: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 5 + 2 = 17

Mahatma finishes off with a firmly ordered march, lining up with the discipline and order of the Iolite Squad of Oprak Hobgoblins.

The tanuki can only watch in awe as Mahatma describes the groups the Pathfinders have encountered using dance.

Pathfinders 4 - 1 Tanuki

Mochi looks crestfallen at not being able to dance. She appeals to you "Can we dance one last round? Just for fun?" She points and you all see that Mochi (Valeshi's companion) is being smothered with treats and now has ribbons in his fur...

I'm going to send out chronicles - we're pretty much done except for the outro. Your choice if you want to dance the last round or not... :)

"No one's dancing? How about we all dance together?" Vamir suggests. He steps into the stage and joins the tanuki, doing the same dance he did when it was his turn to compete with another contestant.

Mochi sighs in disappointment at not being able to dance.

"The Pathfinders win!" Mimiko proclaims, though disappointed at the tanuki dancers. "We promise to keep our pranks to our camp if you let us stay in the maze. What say you, can we stay?"

At Vamir's suggestion, Mochi and other tanuki dance together with the half-elf. At the end of the dance they applaud each other.

There are many more dangerous things within the maze, from what I've heard. I read in some Chronicles that there are even portals to the elemental planes here! I think these tanuki should be allowed to stay as long as they do not disrupt things any longer for the Society.

"Very well, we promise" Mimiko says fervently.

Before you leave the tanuki camp, they reward you with tea sets and artworks from Minkai as gifts. In addition, they also give you traditional tanuki food and drink stored in elaborately crafted containers as parting gifts. Back at the lodge, Venture-Captain Sigvard Tornkvist thanks you for your efforts. Upon hearing about the tanuki incursion, she speculates that it must be related to the Pathfinder Society’s recent expansions of the maze, opening new connections to Tian Xia. Sigvard is pleased you chose a diplomatic approach to the problem — new allies make the Society stronger.
