Sorry I missed that post, not sure how! I wondered if it was special somehow, although I didn't have any particular material in mind.
Nim had been following the conversation but she didn't feel like add anything to add, but there were other things she was curious about so when it seemed to have wound down she asked a question of her own, "It's a fair step from here to the city. Are you planning to stop anywhere on the way?"
Kel Darkblade
Kel tried to remember if she'd ever heard of a place called Gloratha.

"What can you tell us about Gloratha?"
Calardanion inquires, pondering the good fortune of the group in meeting someone going to Myth Drannor.
"It's an elven village," he says. "I hope to rest and resupply there before continuing my journey."

Knowledge Geography -- You don't know where it is in the Dales.
Knowledge local: There is some ruins in the forest. But whether it is Gloratha or not you don't have a clue.
Knowledge History (this one's a little better): Gloratha was burned down during the invasion from the Army of Darkness.

"Bathhouses are okay, though I prefer solitude. People tend to stare. Though supposedly most kobolds have communal baths. So, what can you tell us about the village?" Luile remarks amusedly, happy to keep the discussion going until they arrive.
"They make cheese there, elven cheese," said Alaion. "It's good cheese. You should try some!"
Nimrodel_
"A bath house sounds simply divine!" proclaimed Nim who was rather keen on her creature comforts.
Calardanion Hadron
"Gloratha sounds nice."
Calardanion comments idly, preparing to relax and meditate for a bit once they get there. There is a lot of information to process, and the day was not one he expected when he first saw the sun this morning. Or the morning in the future. This morning in his respective time, at any rate.
"Is there anything else that you have heard about Demron?"
The elf attempts to recall what else, if anything, he may have read or heard about the crafter.

"Are there cheesy jokes as well?" Luile asks with a grin as she digs out her waterskin for a drink.

"Wouldn't count on that." Nim murmured softly in reply.

Should I roll Perception or just wait until it required?

I never claimed that Kel was good at Perception! :D

As they travelled, Nim made several sketches in a folio along with notes about her impressions of the mission thus far. Knowing what was going to happen in the next few months kept her from enjoying the trip, it felt to her like something was bound to go wrong, so she kept a careful watch as they travelled. She noticed Kel doing the same which she approved of.

You hear wolves howling. They must have killed a deer.
Nimrodel_
Softly Nim warned her companions, "I hear the howling of wolves. Probably nothing to worry about, but we should keep watch nonetheless."
She thought about wolves howling to communicate and it occurred to Nim that she ought to be aware of how scouts from the invading horde where likely to communicate based on historical accounts.

But what about the invader's scouts?
Nimrodel_
At the back of her mind Nim was wondering if it really is just wolves, or if there's something more going on... Anyway unless there's going to be an encounter, maybe we should fast forward a little, Nim wants her bath :)

It takes an hour to reach Gloratha. Which is a settlement of elves in the trees. The inn where you would be staying at is built around a large oak tree. The fire pit is away from the tree, and you could smell cheese being made not more than three trees away. There are some elvish guards posted, they stand watch.
"Here we are," said Alaion.
One of the guards stops you and says, "Have you seen any fiendish activity of late?"
Kel Darkblade
"No," Kel replied to the guard. "How much of a concern is it in this region these days?" Then she gestured to the rest of the party. "I'm responsible for their safety, so I'd like to know what the local conditions are and which hotspots to avoid."
Kel was worried. I really don't like the fact that we basically don't know what we're walking into here.

"The concern is one we are worried about," says the guard. "We have reports of an army gathering to the extreme northeast. Some people have been reporting demons in the woods. We don't know if it's a just an annoyance, or something bigger. Our armies are powerful, but we lost a few scouts."
Luile thanks the cart driver as she hops off the cart. She joins Kel as the guards walk up, and starts to speak but falls silent as Kel asks basically the same thing she intended to ask. She also uses Detect Evil just in case.
The priest offers the guards a blessings. The blessings of the Seladrine be with you. May Correlon Larethian and Solonor Tgelandria guide your watch and your bows if necessary.
"Thank you for your blessings," says the guard.

"Demons? That's never good to hear," Kel said as she jumped off the cart with her backpack. "And a gathering army? What sort of forces and who's leading them?"
She looked worriedly at the rest of the party, wondering how things would shake out in combat.
At Luile's words, Kel cast a glance around at the village, trying see if anything looked out of place.

You can't seem to find anyone or anything out of place. But your senses give you a cold shoulder. Something is definitely wrong.

The talk of demons already had Nim worried so she took Kel's warning and murmured a soft reply. "बेहतर होगा कि हम तब तक साथ रहें जब तक हमें पता न चल जाए कि क्या हो रहा है। मैं उम्मीद नहीं कर रहा था कि एक या दो महीने तक चीजें शुरू हो जाएंगी लेकिन शायद समय सारिणी बदल गई है।"

You feel that the evil is coming in one direction, to a tree that houses a certain house.
The moon elf turns to those speaking celestial and gives a nod.
Maybe things aren't as they appear.

Quietly to the others Nim indicated a particular tree-house, saying "I've got a bad feeling about that place. I think we should investigate."

He nods in agreement with Nim and starts heading in the direction indicated.
Casting bless, so that we have +1 morale bonus on attack rolls and on saving throws vs fear for the next 4 minutes.

Bless is a good spell in this instance. Although you were distracted in your perception, Calardanion. You can't tell one tree house to another.

Did the guards react to Kel's further questions ("Demons? That's never good to hear," Kel said as she jumped off the cart with her backpack. "And a gathering army? What sort of forces and who's leading them?" ) or just go back to their posts?

One of the guards say, "We don't know where the army is coming from, except from the Northeast. Some of our scouts never returned from that area."
