"So what next?" asked Nim, "This was disturbing, but it seems we've dealt with one problem. I wonder if there's more issues here, or if we should push on to Myth Drannor?"
Taking a look at the valuables he nods his head in understanding. I am correct, these are used to summon foul denizens from the Lower Planes, it looks like she just summoned imps but I wonder if there are other things she could summon listed somewhere like in her spellbook or other wrtings.
"I wonder where she got the money to fund this little operation," Kel said as she gathered the jewels into a pouch. "And there's stil the question of the mysterious 'Sleepers'," she added.
Sleepers are a term for hidden agents that work for a particular organization. IN this case, the Church of Bane. They are created to be an evil organization to overthrow the nation of Cormanthyr, and make it easy for Bane's army of evil to overtake and conquer the nation.
"Well, we're still on our way to Myth Drannor," Kel pointed out. "Shouldn't we continue on our way? Maybe find a caravan to join that's going in that direction?"
"We will investigate the 'sleepers'," says the constable.
"Would it be possible for you to write a letter of recommendation on our behalf, please?" Kel asked the constable. "Some of us are seeking employment in Myth Drannor and are therefore in need of character references from a local person of authority."

"In the meantime, have a stay at the inn," said the Constable. "One thing about this shrine that it's connected to the sleeper agents."
The deputy gives you directions to the inn. "It's just south of the library and located in a great oak," he explains. "There are stairs leading up to the common room. There you will find an elven bar offering good wine and ale. It's just forty paces south of here."

"That sounds excellent," Kel said with some relish. "I'm already looking forward to enjoying the libations there!"
Nim nods and heads off in the direction of the big oak.
Assuming the direction is obvious.
Nim climbed the stairs and walked into the bar where she ordered a glass of elverquisst before selecting a table. As she savoured her drunk she briefly studied anyone else in the bar.

Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (13) + 12 = 25
You notice a stranger in forest green sitting at his own table. Most people give him wide of berth.
Going to assume the others are seated with Nim at the table.
Hoping to be subtle, Nim indicates the stranger with a slight head gesture and a slight quizzical look. Hopefully somebody more empathic than her could determine if they had a situation on their hands.
Kel followed Nim into the drinking establishment and reserved a table for the group.
When Nim returned from the bar with a drink in hand and indicated the unknown person in green, Kel looked briefly in that direction.
Which Knowledge skill would be most appropriate for a skill check here?
Curious herself about the green-clad stranger, she went over to the bar to order her own glass of elverquisst and ask the bartender about the man in question.
"It looks like that chap in green isn't too popular with your other guests. Who is he?" Kel asked the bartender as she paid for the drink.

"He's one of those rangers," the bartender says.
Nobility and Royalty, DC is pretty high unless you know your history.
Kel returned to the table where the rest of the party were seated.
"He's Deleran, one of the rangers and the heir to the throne," she muttered quietly to Nim and the others. "But I don't remember much of his history from our ... point of view."
He asks if anyone is familiar with Deleran's story.
Know history 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22
Kemian:
People say he became a ranger because he wanted to change perspectives on the royal family. Others say he had a falling out with the family. He is still heir to the throne of Myth Drannor, though. People say he's still a good elf man, and he'll be a good king.

What you know of him is that he was one of the people who wielded one of the Bane Blades.
So Nim's a bit too shy to introduce herself to Deleran, but I'm wondering is there anything else we're supposed to be doing here?
There is a lot of options:
* The bard in the group can entertain the crowd.
* You can order food to eat.
* You can order some wine for your group and Deleran can present himself.
* You could get beds to rest for the evening.
* One of you can divine what is up with the Sleepers. This would mean using magic, of course.
* One of you can also divine what your trip to Myth Drannor could be like.
* And yes, one of you can introduce yourself to Deleran.
The cleric/wizard will rise and go sit down next to Deleran.
Greetings child of the Seladrine, you seem...troubled. A burden shared in a burdened lifted.
