Male halfling wolf-rider

"Eeewwww" Seeing the bloody bird, Rory couldn't help but voice is disgust. having no idea what the creature said, he did understand drawing the sword, touching his bare heels to Storms sides the wolf rushes forwards, guided towards the back, Rory tells him "Storm attack!" As Storm snaps at the creatures legs trying to drag it down, Rory chops at it with his sword.

Kisaiya hits with the bless (AC 15 flatfooted) crunching a hollow legbone. Mukluk fires a stream at the woman corby - also hitting! Durgan steps up as well, but swings wide. Rory also hits and, thanks to the bless Storm does too - and trips her (I still can’t believe corbies can’t fly!).

The corby, tripped, can’t shift easily so she casts defensively from the floor.

Pleased that Storm was able to pull the dirty bird to the ground, Rory reaches up to pat his wolf, "Good Boy" But he frowns when the witch causes darkness to fall in the room. Hearing something hit and hearing something else hit as Mukluk describes where the creature was at, Rory slashed in front of him, as he urged Storm that way, who snapped in the darkness trying to bite the Dire Corbie.

Durgan hits with his AoO, but misses with his readied attack - as she does cast again. Rory, though he’s told where she is, still can’t manage to find her in the darkness.

The corby tries to cast another spell!

Realizing something had changed, Rory tells Storm, "Sniff her out boy!" As the wolf pauses and sniffs, he lunges towards the spot where the dirty bird should be, hopefully being able to snap at her and try to drag her to the ground. Realizing the wolf had found her, Rory blurts, "Over here!" and chops with his sword.

Kisaiya takes out her extra outfit and uses it to cover the brick she saw the corby priest cast darkness. ”One less problem. Hopefully.”

That sounds like a whole round of actions to me

Kisaiya lays down some clothing on the brick she thinks was the darkness. So long as the battle doesn’t shift it (ha!) the darkness is suppressed. Mukluk moves to the inner doors guarding against intrusion or exit. Durgan casts guidance, and suggests a possible outcome, which Rory, or rather Storm, confirms. Storm points upward toward the ceiling and barks. Though they bite and swing, neither attack hits due to the range involved.

As Storm barks at the ceiling and you look in that direction, you see a pair of ogrekin, sweating and breathing heavily as they run toward what was the darkness.

You hear a few scratches on the ceiling as the corby continues to scrabble away - and the sounds of casting! She does not turn visible.

Realizing Storm had picked the scent back up, Rory smiles and pats his wolf as they move that direction. Raising an eyebrow as Mukluk slathers the ceiling in grease, he hears the Corbie hit the ground and curse. Leaning forwards Rory slashes at the invisible bird, "Blast!" cusing when he hits nothing but air.

The corby moves back behind the line of ogrekin and casts again - remaining invisible.

The ogrekin form a line, and start with Durgan, though they look uncertain. They are wielding short spears.

Frustrated that the Dire Corbie had gotten beyond the ogrekin, Rory flinched a little as Durgan got wounded. Seeing the dwarf move back, beside him readying an attack, Rory held Storm in place, telling the wolf, "Guard!" hoping the wolf would understand to ready an attack as well.

The dire corby moves to an unknown spot - but almost certainly beyond the ogrekin. She shrieks at the ogrekin in Abyssal - and though you doubt they know the language, they clearly know what she wants - they step up in the blades of the party.

"Ow!" Feeling the shortspear, cut through his armor and poke him in the side, Rory knows the attack has broken a couple of ribs. Hoping he'd wounded the ogre as badly as the ogre had wounded him, Rory presses the attack. "Get 'em Storm!" Slashing at the red Ogrekin with his sword as Storm snaps at the same creature, trying to drag it to the ground. Missing so badly he almost falls out of his saddle, Rory hopes his wolf has better luck.

The dire corby casts cause fear on Storm! Will DC 13 or flee for rounds: 1d4 ⇒ 1 succeed and shaken for 1 round. She is now visible again.

Blue, though slow, recognizes Durgan is hard to hit, and Storm is troublesome - so he shifts his attacks against the pooch.

Storm (bless) Will DC 13: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 2 + 1 = 7

Smiling as Storm brings down the ogre, Rory realizes the dirty bird is visible again. As the witch clearly starts to cast a bad feeling comes over Rory as he feels a shiver run down Storm's back. The wolf tucks it's tail and turns running fortunately taking them out of range of the attacking ogre. As Storm runs from one corner to the other, dribbling pee, Rory tries to console, him, considering if any of the spells he knew would help the wolf. Reaching up and patting the wolf, "It's ok Storm Calm down, I won't let the big bad bird bite you." Storm ignoring his Hero, sticks his nose in the narrow window, hoping if he can't see the witch that she can't see him.

Um, Storm has fear, both withdraw?

Rory who had been last, but now is first, joins Storm in pounding the remaining ogrekin - who falls, then falters and lies in a bloody pulp. Durgan sets up a flank, draws an AoO to move into position, but gets in a dig of his own! Kisaiya after delaying, twice, advances on the dire corby scratching a few feathers from her shoulders. Mukluk moves into position, also risking an AoO (alas, no combat reflexes) as he tries to aid Kisaiya, but does not succeed.

Feeling the negative energy wash over him, Rory resists the best he can. Hoping that Storm was able to resist the energy as well, he touches the wolf flanks with his bare heels, "Get her Boy!"
