For connections, Tatyana almost certainly knows Kimberly. She's visited Professor Lorrimor at Ravengro before and would have stopped by the church of Pharasma while there.

She travels all around Ustalav and therefore could have met anyone else at one time or another. Anyone interested or would you prefer to remain strangers for now?

Also @Tatyana I am sure Kimberly would have seen here around, but she most likely would have been rather shy and just observed from a distance. If Tatyana approaches her first then she would have responded.

To Tatyana Kimberly looks to be a child of no more than 10 to 12 years old. But there is wisdom in her eyes beyond her years.

@Kimberly, if Tatyana visited Ravengro recently enough to have learned about you saving the professor's life she probably would have approached you. Partially out of curiosity, partially to see if you had the potential to be a cleric/inquisitor. Does sound interesting to you? Or would you prefer Tatyana's last visit to have been before the cemetery incident? (In which case she would have seen you as just another orphan and not paid too much attention.)

Sorry was silent yesterday

Major rain storms and flooding

All is good now and very minimal damage, but looked pretty crazy around the house and good thing I have an SUV. Otherwise my car would have been flooded inside.


Oh my! Thank goodness you are alright and safe. I am glad your SUV didn't get flooded, it's never easy to clean them.


Breynor/Daniel has been sick for weeks and don't think he will be able to play with us anymore.

Henric will sleep either in a bed in a guest room or on the floor with his bedroll. Since he's expected an attack, he'd like to set up a watch. He'll take whenever, but if anyone has darkvision, he'd prefer them to take a night watch.


Thank you Henric, I hope we can get the others to post it and we can make a schedule for standing guard. Lectrun has darkvision so he will do the night shift as he expressed in gameplay.

Tatyana will be staying at Kendra's place because it's convenient. She'd prefer her own room but wouldn't mind sharing with Kimberly if necessary. As for watches she can take the 2-10pm shift. She does have darkvision and tends to keep a later schedule both because of that and her job. (Heretical sects like to convene at night.) She'll research during the mornings.

Her nightly rituals include performing the deific obedience for Pharasma. It's a bit macabre and is part of the reason she'd prefer her own room. (Some people get weird about you laying a bunch of bones into a spiral while chanting ominously. Who knew?) She also keeps a journal and writes in it nightly.

Sly would join Henric one day, then Tatyana the next. Sleeping the opposite shift.

It’s a DC25 check to learn about one prisoner or a DC30 check to learn about two. I’m thinking it might be worth us three researchers focusing on that for a day or two.

Question for the GM: How close is the Temple to the false crypt, and where is Harrowstone in comparison?

The paranoid part of me says "never go to a crypt without the full team," but logically if we're right there it might make sense to grab the supplies now.


The false crypt is in the restlands. The temple is in the heart of the town. Harrowstone... I will have to look up that info tonight when I get home.

I would guess that it would be a quick detour to find the false crypt.
