Biography:
Calhoun is an elf who had a passion for alchemy since he was a child. He dreamed of becoming a master alchemist and creating amazing potions and elixirs. He was accepted as an apprentice by a renowned alchemist named Elora, who taught him the secrets of the craft. Calhoun was a quick learner and soon became one of Elora’s most promising students.
However, one day, Calhoun’s curiosity got the better of him. He decided to experiment with a rare and volatile ingredient that Elora had warned him not to touch. He mixed it with some other substances and hoped to create a powerful potion. But instead, he caused a huge explosion that destroyed part of Elora’s laboratory and injured himself severely. The blast burned his face and left him with horrible scars.
Calhoun was ashamed of his appearance and his mistake. He felt that he had betrayed Elora’s trust and ruined his future as an alchemist. He decided to wear a mask to cover his deformed features and avoid being seen by anyone. So, Calhoun decided to escaped to the solitude of the wilderness and learned to live off the land. He became more attuned to nature and discovered new plants and animals that he could use for his alchemy. He also developed new skills and abilities, such as hunting, tracking, and survival. He found a new sense of freedom and peace in his isolation.
However, he also faced new challenges and dangers. He had to deal with harsh weather, wild beasts, and hostile tribes. He also had to cope with his loneliness and his memories of his past. He sometimes wondered what had happened to Elora and if she still cared about him. He also wondered if he would ever find a place where he belonged or if he would have to wander the world alone.
Extra Feat: Tracking - You are able to track down other creatures in the wild, in cities, and even through underground passages. When making tracking checks you add double your proficiency bonus to the roll. On a success, you also learn their exact number, their sizes, and how long ago they passed through the area.
