Hey, Qstor. I sent you a PM but never got a reply.
I played in your Lyrics of Extinction game before this one. Any possibility you can report it on Paizo soon?

"Water's not "terribly strong", now is it?" Granny smiles. "But I think a placebo to get him moving could keep him quiet for a while. Besides, he really needs to drink some more water, or the hangover might kill him before the Gardeners can."

Okay, Kahwen, Rallas... which of you wants spirit-bound blade? Assuming the one that just popped out of the floor is actually incorporeal, that is.

May be better for Rallas.
The only ability on the list of bonus abilities that I see that would be useful is keen and my sword already has it.
It's more for the Ghost Touch bit, that would let you sneak attack incorporeal. But either one works for me.
shaventalz
Holding off on Granny's turn until the Knowledge results come in.
I think having ghost touch on Kahwen's keen sword might be the better play. I'll make do...
Maybe, but he seems to have committed to stabbing the rose ladies. For all we know, this is a really deadly undead that should be taken out first. If it isn't, then Spirit-Bound Blade can maybe hold off for a few rounds while the twins get pruned.

...I'm sorry, is that a CR14 encounter we just walked into? During an escort mission, against something that can probably wipe all the NPCs (and half the PCs) if it wails?
Granny Cheechatkae wrote:Not Evil then? The ones to the south should have been in range when Granny helped free the prisoners, anyway.the undead aren't placed on the scenario map. There's metal and stone in the area as well. So I had to improvise WHERE they are
Fair enough.

i forgot to add debilitating injury to my sneak roll...i'll go with the bewildered...if I live to get another attack in, it'll be at -4 from me....yay!
and someone please tell me you have Silence or something ready...

"Sorry dear. I checked my inventory, and don't have any scrolls or oils of silence."
assume sneak attack doesn't apply..lol
Maybe it counts as flat-footed? It hasn't acted yet in combat, but it did float up with the intention of combat, so... maybe?

the comment about sneak attack is because it's incorporeal...but with my sword having ghost touch, i'm unsure as to the ruling...can't remember off the top of my head...

Per the Incorporeal subtype:
"An incorporeal creature is immune to critical hits and precision-based damage (such as sneak attack damage) unless the attacks are made using a weapon with the ghost touch special weapon quality."So a Ghost Touch weapon is able to crit and SA a ghost. And now you have a keen ghost touch weapon.

"I don't have enough actions for this!"
Bless, remove fear, spiritual ally... so many choices.
How much damage did Jory's round1 shots do to the banshee?
Granny Cheechatkae

It is funny how bless is still a top tier option.
An attack bonus and a bonus against fear, over a 50' radius, when facing a banshee.

If saves vs fear do take place, don’t forget my aura of courage.

If saves vs fear do take place, don’t forget my aura of courage.
Doesn't that only reach 10' out from Trokkus?
I'm assuming what Rallas got hit with was the "Terror" ability of a standard banshee. We'll see if he starts cowering in fear.
Rallas:
If you make the save, Granny can get you a flanking buddy if she gets her turn in before yours.

Aaaand inserting that confirmation did weird things to the following rolls. It seems to have essentially shifted all the following d20s down one; Green's vine previously was the nat20, but now it's the previous claw. The new roll is therefore the one now listed as green's crit confirmation, which is significantly higher than the d20 that the inserted confirmation stole.
On the plus side, I now personally have confirmation that Paizo's roller isn't doing anything super-weird in the background to keep the rolls stable, and I should continue end-posting as I've been doing.
shaventalz
Suspect Rallas has been hit by the fear - he’s about to be faerie dragon’d
Yeah, I'd guess the same. I think the banshee is dead and Rallas is cowering with very low HP. That said, this could be a nonstandard banshee.
On a side note, I don't think anyone would blame a no-longer-cowering Rallas for stepping out of the area until the pakalchi are no longer a threat. They've probably still got a ranged attack, after all.
Shifty
Well let's see if the Banshee is still up.
If Rallas is just scared then Boffins will breath weapon him.
Theres a Fort save needed by Kahwen, suspect that's the poison.
The good news for Kahwen is that the poison effect will be suspended for a while due to the communal delay poison, but if they fail their save we will have to deal with it later on :)

I haven't even read the gameplay thread and I can see so many things have happened! Sorry I did what I do and disappeared (being an awesome rogue and all) but in this case it's because I came down with a fever on Wednesday that I found out was Covid yesterday. I'm still not 100% but I have enough energy to do things other than watch TV and sleep so I'm slowly catching up.
shaventalz
it's a wand of infernal healing..i'll use that to heal..save the cures...using 7 charges...i was at 71 damage after the healing from Granny and Percy...i'll have to redo my buffs in a minute...should have done that before we started leaving...oh well...i lived...lol
That might be a bad idea. Colson is apparently being walked to his execution right now, and Infernal Healing would take 7 minutes to finish healing you.

The party realizes that the crowd circle, it's a troop in game terms are under the magical control of the Gray Gardener on the platform.
ok start of round 1
Combat
Pathfinders are up!
What kind of magical control are we talking about here? Mass domination, mass charm, or mass enrage? In other words, does it seem like something we could try using social skills to get the crowd to back down, or is it at the "just try not to kill these guys" stage?
If it helps, Knowledge (Arcana) is usually used to identify spell effects that are already in place, and Granny's Take10 for that handles at least level 6 spells (with a '1' on the inspiration d6). Possibly minimum 8th, if it's been less than 10 minutes since we walked in the prison.
