Cyan Reflex vs Taong: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Blue Reflex vs Taong: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16

Cyan and Blue both are greeted by a jolt of electricity.

Khaldan summons his favorite pet, which snaps at Cyan's leg - and pinches it clean off. Cyan falls. It has a second action that you can revise.

Fibek, you only have line of sight on Green and Blue, so those will be your targets.

Green Reflex vs Fibek: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24
Blue Reflex vs Fibek: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26

Both manage to dodge half the blast, but that's enough to cause Blue to fall to the ground.

Qidan, likewise, you only can see Green and Magenta at this point, so those are your targets.

Green Reflex vs Qidan: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24
Magenta Reflex vs Qidan: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

Green takes half a blast, and looks in rough shape. Magenta takes the full blast, and looks even worse.

Each kobold here is wearing a copper-and-eggshell necklace like the trapmaster kobold upstairs. Each also had a total of 3 spears, some of which were thrown but recoverable.

In addition to the kobolds’ gear, the chest is filled with trinkets and collected valuables. It holds a bolt of fine silk cloth worth 5 gp, a painting of an adventurer on a horse worth 2 gp, a sack filled with 20 sp, a crystal decanter filled with old, sour wine (the decanter is worth 1 gp but the wine is unpalatable), a ladder feather token, and a minor healing potion.

Nobody is injured, and I'm not sure any spell slots were used, so what would you like to do next?

The puppy ate them. When the hatchling grows big and strong, we will rise up to take what is ours. The egg was a blessing from the gods, and a sign that we are destined to return to the surface and conquer your pathetic human towns."

Just an OOC note, if you do go upstairs at this point and report to Tamily, she'll point out there are still kobolds remaining (there's the boss, named Zolgran). Facing the dragon itself would be separate, so you can defer this question.

While much of this rectangular chamber is in ruins, the center contains a fountain of pristine water with something glittering at the bottom. In the middle of the fountain is a marble statue of a mermaid, her lips pursed as if she were about to blow a kiss, or maybe whistle. The ledge the throne sits on also serves as Zolgran’s personal resting area. A straw pallet rests here, like those in the sleeping quarters (that the kobolds hid behind).

The out-of-place throne matches design to the throne room on the floor above, which is where the kobolds took it from.

Most importantly, there’s an old, rusty iron chest. Atop this chest is a large, broken eggshell that’s almost 2 feet tall. Ivory in color, the shell has green veins running through it, and it’s clear that the pieces of eggshell worn by the boss and many of the kobolds here came from this egg. Although you've not yet seen what was inside, there are large claw marks, bigger than any kobold could make, down one side of the shell.

The chest is locked, but Zolgran has the key tied at her waist. Inside the chest are some of the more interesting treasure that the kobolds found during their exploration of these tunnels. The treasure includes a silver bracelet with a fish pattern worth 5 gp, a very old map that depicts some strange-looking dungeon, a smoking sword with a dwarven face carved into the hilt, a wand of heal (1st level), 2 minor healing potions, and a hat of disguise.

Kaldan agrees "Yes, very tidily done! It would be good to take a quick rest for healing and recharging. After that though, I'd be interested in seeing this puppy. Those claw marks make me a bit worried though. Maybe we could try and talk to it? Although nothing here has been interested in negotiating so far sadly."
