I’m currently at -34 HP after taking half damage from the lightning bolt that Circle fired at me. With a current speed of 90, I’m pretty sure Volsung can loop around to the south of the boss and get into flanking with Bom.

Like Mary Poppins, but with a bubbly rapier rather than an umbrella, Volsung zips around to get southwest of the boss and into flanking with Bom. Move action

If Volsung takes a AOO, he’ll use Mesmeric Mirror as a free action to get two mirror-image like duplicates.

Volsung gives the boss the evil eye. Swift action

Volsung circles the giant cloud, providing a flank buddy before filling an innocuous cloud with bubbles.

Bom, on the other hand, is able to make contact with all but his first and last strikes. While the monster is not solid enough to feel the full force of his blows, it has clearly been injured.

Of course, Bom now has the confused cloud's attention.

@GM, it looks like you're applying DR 5, as a reminder, if the boss has an elemental subtype, Bom's Amulet of Elemental Strife allows him to ignore any DR.

Was about to think this guy might be dead, but elementals are typically immune to Precision damage...so 16 damage after DR...methinks Ashwell has to wait another round for rescue. Oh wait...are they immune to crits too...so maybe only 6 damage?

Bom gives Volsung an odd look, wondering if the aasimar was intentionally ignoring him.

Bom returns to his efforts against the boss. Encouraged by how easily the creature was hit and it still being off-balance from Bom's last shield bash, Bom attacks with more aggression.

Volsung and Bom team up to strike the creature over and over again until the cloud dissipates in a crack of thunder. Even ignoring past and current precision, you dealt enough damage this round to finish it.

However, the danger is not over, at least not for Ashwell. He is still unconscious and being tossed around the room, and the lightning from the storm continues unabated.

Flying over to Ashwell, Ghukar pulled out a wand of curing that looked like it had not been touched in quite a while. Tapping the fallen warrior, the healing magic started to help close some of the injuries.

Longstrider doesn't affect fly speed. My math says it's 115 ft. from Bom's location to Ashwell's, so I think all you can do is move.

I'm assuming that Volsung knows a dispel magic will work on the rune at the bottom of this chamber because he was deafened after Ashwell learned about it, OK?

With the threats gone, the Pathfinders can find a small hoard at the bottom of the chamber: a glass sphere etched so the interior seems filled with clouds and gleaming eyes (750 gp), aset of 1-foot-tall humanoids sculpted out of cloudwall,(300 g a small chest filled with assorted coins (500 gp), a primal elemental gem (air), and a clamor box.

Activate the Clamor Box:
Screams like those of humanoids bieng tortured emerge from the box.

You are correct. Luckily, it didn't matter here.

As you return to the roof of the tower, you find the remaining inhabitants fleeing. With Grasping Storm defeated, you can return to Port Eclipse. Captain Beysal takes you on board and eagerly asks you to share tales of your adventures. She has a few additional stops on her route to complete before returning to Port Eclipse, but is happy to have you along for the ride.

When the you arrive, Norden Balentiir and Ashasar meet up with you. Grasping Storm’s downfall pleases them both; while the belker lord’s defeat doesn’t end Hshurha’s menace, it does channel and limit the path of her retaliation, and sends a strong message to any other of her lieutenants planning strikes on her behalf.
