So... Max, both our PCs are Ace Pilot Operatives with Ghost specializations. I'm okay with that, and it might even be nice having someone else to scout and stealth alongside versus going alone. Are you okay with that overlap?

In our opening scene, your player characters are aboard the shuttle Okimoro as it approaches Absalom Station.

You can be acquainted with each other, or not as you wish. Or you can meet for the first time aboard the shuttle.

You all have made arrangements to meet a dwarven Starfinder named Duravor kreel at the docking bay where the Okimoro is going to land; Docking Bay 94.
Kreel has promised to show you around the station, help you get settled and facilitate your membership into the Starfinder Society.

For your first posts, I want you to imagine a stewardess (like in Fifth Element) approaching you that you need to return to your seat.
Make your post from their point of view. What do they see when she approaches you? How do you act? This is the first time an audience is going to see you make a splash. If you need to foreshadow something, go to town!

No problem here. Max is like my dad, he doesn't get dizzy when he drives, he just gets dizzy when others drive!!

Hey all, sorry about my lack of posting over the weekend. My kiddo's school sent him home sick Thursday afternoon with pink eye that he got from another kid in this class. I took him to urgent care to find out that he also had strep... which I caught from him. SO both of us were sick over the weekend. I'm back now, getting caught up at work, so I'll probably be a little slow to catch up here!

Catching up team, lmk what I need to do next

I think grenades target grid intersection at DC 5, so target bottom right of SM square and make 20 foot range smoke cloud. Turns out STR is modifier —go figure

Roll result is 4-1 - range increment vs 5 = miss

So probably some scatter chart action

I just seemed to notice how bad the Opening Volley feat is... do you care if I change that feat to Mobility? That would be a better choice for how I see Myriad in combats. They will be a very mobile skirmisher type. Let me know what you think, thanks!

Quick question... is Myriad currently behind any cover? I was thinking that those big squares were large crates that the gangsters were taking Cover behind. I was also thinking that the objects Myriad is adjacent to were enough for Full Cover.

Also, not sure how many of you have all have Discord or are interested in using it for this game, but I have a Discord server that I run and would be willing to create a Channel for this game that we could use for quick questions to the GM. Let me know!

Myriad and Prototype 12 are behind a luggage cart. You have Cover and Concealment, but not total. (You can kinda see and/or shoot through the luggage piles on the racks in the middle of it.)

If Myriad needs total cover/concealment, the luggage cart directly station west has several trunks stacked that should serve.

Oh my, I didn't realize I had been inactive for that long! So sorry everyone, been a bit busy, but I'll make sure I don't allow that much of a lapse!

I had applied for a Cybersecurity training grant in November of last year and Purdue abruptly started it on me back in May with little to no warning... so I'm been putting in 20+ hours per week of studying on top of my job. I will be better about getting up to pace with everyone!

Okay, I"m caught up on the thread. Perhaps Myriad was doing some scouting around the area while the others ended up where they are? Assuming, you guys don't mine me continuing after my disappearance...

tbh I want to hear more about your grant program, that sounds amazing ;)

So, it's through the Indiana Department of Education to help train up Indiana Education Technology personnel in Cybersecurity. Not sure if there are options outside of those for grants, but it's through Purdue's CyberTAP program. Here's a link to their website to check out if you're interested!
