Myth-Speaker Prey for Death

For the moment, at least, the kids seem settled into the great hall of the lodge. Several of them are spectating a lively game of drouge, waiting to score a match with the winner. Others are reading quietly in armchairs or sprawled in front of the fire.

Target dummies and racks of blunted weapons line three of the walls in this sparring space. On the western wall, a large mirror hangs from floor to ceiling. Tels and Vim are look to have tried on some of the practice gear, but they're currently making creative stacks of practice weapons in the center of the sparring space.

As you enter the room, Vim looks up and gasps, "What are those!" as she points at your reflections in the mirror. The goblin darts behind Tels.

The burly changeling squints at the mirror, then replies, "I think...I think it might be the chaperones.--Hello! Is that you?--It looks like their silhouettes in the mirror, at least."

"Yes, it's them alright!" Tels says, excitedly.

"Stay focused? My teachers tell me that all the time!" Vim exclaims.

"I don't think that "find focuses" is metaphorical, Vim." Tels replies. "The chaperones need us to find something, but..." the young man turns to your reflections, "Could you show us some moves first? You have no idea how disappointed Hari and Geltra are going to be if we don't finish our assignment."

You can demonstrate Pathfinder combat techniques by attempting Athletics checks, Strikes, or spell attack rolls. (Or something else suitable that requires an appropriate roll.)

"Wow! Amazing! Wait until we show the others." Vim and Tels do some fantastic imitations of your techniques, punctuated with appropriate sound effects.

Meanwhile, the energy from Jinlong's mighty blast reverberates through the chamber, lingering far longer than usual. In the magical blastwave, the mirror starts to shimmer, and more strange figures appear in it. They grow bigger the longer you watch them, as if they were swimming toward the surface of a strange lake.

Suddenly, the creatures burst through the window! Three flying, writhing creatures covered in multi-colored scales emerge into the room and make a b-line toward you. While they seem hostile, Vim and Tels haven't reacted to their presence in any way.
