GM Jhaeman's PFS1 # 0-26: "Lost at Bitter End" (Inactive)

Game Master Jhaeman

Maps & Handouts

When a Pathfinder Society Priest of Nethys disappears in northern Geb while studying the Mana Wastes, the Society sends you to uncover her whereabouts and find her journals. Arriving in the town of Bitter End, you find it deserted but for a few mysterious creatures never before seen on Golarion. Those creatures quickly lead to more and soon you're embroiled in a mystery that could effect the very fabric of reality. Will you solve the mystery of Bitter End or find yourself lost forever in the Mana Wastes?

Now recruiting for Pathfinder Society (1E) Scenario # 0-26 Lost at Bitter End. This is for characters of levels 9, 10, or 11 and will be played via play-by-post here on the Paizo forums. Please note this is not a convention game, and will start on August 20th. If you'd like to play, please fill in the information below. Only completed check-ins will be considered and it's first-come, first-served until I get to four (a good number for these Season Zero scenarios).

That was fast!

It looks like the lineup will be: Lance Corporal Chaine Alazario, Anthys, Monkey Boy the Humble One, and Xilt Sphinx. You can all make your way to Gameplay when ready for some introductions (though we won't start the actual briefing until Saturday).

@Xilt Sphinx: I think we gamed together before--maybe Thornkeep?

@Anthys: I hope I didn't offend you in some way! I'm willing to stretch to five if you still want to play.

Recruitment is Closed.

The Exchange

@GM Jhaeman - Absolutely right. I had the good fortune of you being the GM for both Thornkeep and Doom Comes to Dustpawn in regards to this character alone. Thanks in advance. :)

Dark Archive

Remind me how to change the subtitle so I can include AC, etc.

@Jackson Magraw: You can do it in the Profile section for the character--the first few fields show up in the character's tagline.

@Everyone: I know there's a guide floating around somewhere about how to do attractive PFS taglines, but I can't remember where it is--does anyone know?

The Exchange

There is definitely advice on tag lines and posting in the Online Campaigns:General Discussion forum however I would suggest that you open up any campaign and have a look at what other players are doing and copy a style that works for you. Check out the button below every post(and the faq) that shows you the options on how to format your posts. That is very helpful as you can use these formatting tools in your character sheet and tagline as well.

I generally like to hide my characters' expendable resources under a button to keep it neater and easier to read but other players prefer to have it all stick out. I also tend to add an extra line with bigger letters when my character is raging as that is such a visible effect and makes it easier for the GM to find. Have some fun with it and over time make it your own. :)
