This is the recruitment thread for a CORE run of Pathfinder Society Scenario: #0-17 Perils of the Pirate Pact. This adventure will be run as part of the Play by Post convention, Gameday XI, which runs between September 11, 2022 and November, 2022.

This scenario is designed for 1st to 7th level characters. This table is open only to CORE PCs.

Seating: Seats at the table will be assigned on a first-post, first-seated basis.

Start Date: September 12, 2022

Game Expectations:
I ask for a posting rate of a minimum of once per day during the business week and at least once over the weekend, though I realize (and expect) that real life can get in the way of fun at times and that not all players will be able to meet that pace. I expect folks to occasionally be unavailable for a period of time. If I know that I will be unavailable for some reason for more than 24 hours (or 48 over a weekend), I will post such. I request and expect all players to do the same.

For instance, I will be attending a family wedding and I do not anticipate posting between September 22 and September 25.

I reserve the right to bot players who do not post anything within a 24 hour period and will request each player have botting instructions in place before the end of the first briefing.

If this game sounds like something you'd be interested in, go ahead and post the requested information below.

9) Anything unusual or fun about your PC that you think the GM or other players may like to know? Lilac is something of a switch-hitter; she’s primarily a caster druid but isn’t afraid of melee combat.

I also have a 5th-level bard if people want to play high. Lilac would be severely outclassed in a higher tier.

9) Anything unusual or fun about your PC that you think the GM or other players may like to know? Only smashing stuff atm. One day he will channel the dragon spirits within him.

If it trends higher, I can step out.

Merida is a very chipper young woman who is easily excited and sometimes a bit naive.
But you do not want to incur her wrath... unless you want to become the target of her - more or less ;-) - well-aimed arrows...

Merida is better than the average fighter at observing and also not afraid to use magic items (Perception and UMD are both class skills), she also owns a few wands.
She knows a bit about Dungeoneering and Engineering, and has received some basic training about how to Handle Animals, too.
Oh, and she speaks Draconic and Elven.

Looks like we have room for one more.

Grand Lodge

1) Character name: Korgaar
2) PFS#-Character#: 75577-19
3) Character Class & Level: Barbarian 1 / Wizard 1
4) Faction: Grand Lodge
5) Day Job (with roll): craft (stonemason): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
6) Any other downtime activities: don't think so, will check card
7) Fast or slow track: Fast
8) Have you played or GM'd this scenario before? Played it in Standard mode about 8 years ago ;)
9) Anything unusual or fun about your PC that you think the GM or other players may like to know? Korgaar could't complete his wizard's apprenticeship when his erstwhile master disappeared. That made him angry. Very ANGRY. Fortunately his axe-work was good enough to earn him a place in the Pathfinder Society where, after proving himself in several missions, he has finally obtained his own spellbook. Haven't played him at level 2 yet so I may tweak the character sheet a bit, but he'll definitely be Barbarian 1 / Wizard 1.

We have six players.
