Naple tries to follow up but her swing misses by a hair. Rathliss regains his composure and fiddles with his silver fly pendant. "Ah, thank you Urgathoa!"

Rathliss's smile fades as Gregor's blessing helps Naple reset her aim and strike the zombie.

Larraz runs in from the back. "I unstrapped Desert Wind." He pulls out his sling.

Nal and Topias run in and hack into the nearby undead. Their slashing strokes are especially effective.

"Grrr... go! Kill them already!" Rathliss waves his arm frantically.

The zombies in Black and Green rags have a clear target.

Black vs Nal: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
Black vs Nal: 1d20 + 8 - 5 ⇒ (9) + 8 - 5 = 12

Green vs Topias: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14

The other one punches Naple and Grabs her.

The skeletons raise their sword and shield and scream wordlessly before moving in. They look to each other, and split targets. Nal gets a blade in her face, and Topias finds another opponent. They move up, attack once and then raise their shields.

Gregor, Ranzak and Naple all have trouble hitting the skeleton warriors. Their armor is too thick and they easily parry their attacks.

Topias's strike fails to do much, but the skeleton is quick to react and makes an Attack of Opportunity as he leaves. Luckily his armor protects him as he gets in Rathliss's face. "Ah!" The man yelps.

The other moves up to Topias, blocking the path to Rathliss before swinging.

Topias swings instinctively but Rathliss quickly ducks. "Eeep!"

Ranzak is able to slip her dagger past the skeleton's defenses, but the dagger's piercing is resisted. Nal runs in to assist, only to realize her slashing motion doesn't do much against the animated bone. Skeleton has resistance against slashing and piercing damage.

Larraz gets a bit closer and channels some energy of his own, blasting the Gray-armored skeleton. "The dead should stay dead. Back to the earth you go!"

Harsk rushes ahead after his prey. He catches Rathliss as the necromancer retreats, and then chases him before striking him down with an overwhelming blow.

"The rest of the horde is on its way. They will bring me back. They will bring you back!" He topples over, his last words echo through your mind.

"No, you'll stay buried. As soon as we bury your minions!" Larraz unleashes another bolt against the skeleton of Gray. "Return to death!"

In his haste, the bolt flies overhead. "Desert Wind, to me!" He whistles and his horse comes running up the stairs.

The skeletons continue to follow their last orders, lashing out at anyone and everyone. The Gray skeleton looks between Nal and Ranzak, slashing twice before raising its shield.

Realizing that her dagger is not that effective against the skeletons, she steps close to Gray to bash it with her shield in an upward thrust.

Topias swings and hacks into the skeleton's Blue shield. The shield suffers a tiny crack, but the skeleton is unharmed.

"I have... well, it's more natural than holy. Desert Wind, come on!" Larraz points again at the Skeleton in Gray.

A ray shoots out, hits the skeleton, but its hatred ignores the magic. Maybe divine magic is the only option?

Gregor's call to his goddess caught her attention. It also caught the skeleton's attention. The one in gray ignores Naple, Nal and Ranzak to close in on the holy man. It raises its sword by its Gray hilt before swinging twice.

The skeleton in Blue keeps its attention focused on Topias. He knows Topias is quick to react to any opening, and has accursed holy magic. He cannot be ignored.
