Delea

Sorry, I can't get the map to load for me. I'll need some help finishing off my turn.
Sighing that these creatures are immune to most of her magic, Delea uses her mind to pick up a bit of junk to toss at one.

Red is downed before it gets a chance to escape. Delia manages to hit Blue
(Green: -12; Blue: -21)
The two solenoid worms continue attacking the scanners, breaking them even further. Instead of attacking a worm someone can fix a scanner with successful engineering checks. The one nearest where you started was damaged by the earthquake.

=== Combat over ===
You have two malfunctioning and one wrecked scanner to fix.
Kneepuncher

Unless I can aid with an untrained Engineering check, I am done.
Kneepuncher keeps and eye out for further worms.
| bigboom's SFS pregen |
Navasi says to Tanila and The Specialist, "Well, I can help if there are any software issues but I'm not gonna be of much use with patching up the hardware."
Sir Feighnswelle
|
Sir Feighnswell shrugs. "Don't look at me. Such technobaubles are rather foreign to me."
The Specialist
|
"I'll see what I can do," says The Specialist. He pulls a cable from his artificial arm and snaps it into a dataport on the first malfunctioning scanner. He pulls an engineering toolset from his backpack and removes an esoteric plier-scanner-welder device and goes to work.

Tanila

Tanila pulls out a roll of duct tape, a soldering iron and a piece of solder and starts working on the other scanner.

With all four scanners fixed you are able to make the scans. All you need now is a Phys Sci check to analyse the results.
| bigboom's SFS pregen |
"Sorry, can't say I can help with the analysis. Scientific analysis isn't an area I have much experience with. Anyone else?"
phaeton_nz

Tanila does indeed have this. She is able to analyse the results from the scan and discover what was thought to be ruins was a network of underground caverns. Elgir hangs back as you prepare to leave the site.
Starfinders, huh? says Elgr, watching his team jump to attention at Kataali’s order. I’ll make sure everyone knows how much you helped us today. Kataali’s happily back to work, you saved Rukka’s precious scanners, and the rest have put aside their suspicions for now. Maybe I’ll see you out there someday. I love my planet, but it must be so exciting to explore the stars. Elgr’s eyes glisten behind his goggles. Anyway. Can’t waste a second, Kataali’s calling. Thanks again!
Next stop - Vesk 6

Erm - Vesk 5
This part involves Starship Combat - please specify which ship frame you would like to use and your roles on the Starship
You have reached Spaceport 5.1, a joint military installation and civilian settlement that orbits one of Vesk-5’s moons. (see Handout 3). The pit stop Venture-Captain Naiaj warned PCs about turned into four days of calibrations and repairs after an electrical storm damaged their ship’s engines.
By now, you are growing familiar with the spaceport and its bustling, eclectic population. Their ship’s repairs are finally complete, despite the attentions of a “helpful” skittermander mechanic eager to install experimental drive systems. However, the paperwork required to authorize the ship’s departure appears lost in the mists of the Veskarium’s imperial bureaucracy.
How have you spent the last four days? Spaceport 5.1 features an array of eateries, holovid theatres, shopping centers, and a few state-sanctioned clubs concealing quasilegal casinos.
The Specialist
|
The Specialist wanders the corridors of Spaceport 5.1 until he finds a low-grav section. And then, he promptly finds a club. And intoxicants.
He grows less positive and more morose with each sniff, drink and injection.
"H'wuz jusht a kid ya know?" he slurs to the ijtikri sitting next to him. "But I neeeeeeded an arm, ya know? <hiccup> Ann the corp don give arms away fer <hiccup> free. I hadda do it. Ann I'm good at wha I do, bu' wha I do ain't good. Heh. Yup. Amoral <hicc> contractor fer hire. Thass me."
He looks at a nearby group of Brethedan corporate types sampling the club's wares.
"Fuggin' corps," The Specialist mumbles as he slumps to the floor.
Three days in various clubs and one in a quickie detox center later, the now quite positive mechanic finds the rest of the team.
"Oh yeah! Let's finish this mission, team! I just KNOW its gonna be a good one! I can feel it. Positive energy, folks! Positive energy."
His face is a bit tight with that last gush of enthusiasm; his words a bit forced, to anybody watching closely.
| bigboom's SFS pregen |
Navasi heads straight to the clubs!! She'll surface now and then to head to the eateries. But unless called upon, she disappears back into the clubs as soon as she's done eating.
On the occassions you catch her outside of the club, she'll have a big smile on her face. "Win some. Lose some. But the ride sure is fun the entire way there!!!"
Kneepuncher
|
Kneepuncher's last visit to the Veskarium only got as close to the star as Vesk-8, so he appreciates the opportunity to stay somewhere a bit warmer. He will sightsee a bit during the day and see if he can ply his trade in the evening - and wonders if skittermanders have an advantage because of all those hands, or a disadvantage because of all those teeth.

((Delia and Sir Feignswelle to post - if they want to))
Sir Feighnswelle
|
Sir Feighnswelle decides to take in a good deal of the local cuisine, regaling any who will listen about his bouts on Arniselle and pointing at the hash marks on each of his four tusks demonstrating the prowess he had during his glory days.
"Was a jolly good time, it was. A jolly good one!"
| bigboom's SFS pregen |
Delia mentioned some RL items have popped up so I'm assuming she won't have time to throw something up.
While they're at the gambling tables, wanting to make sure Tanila has a good time, Navasi ensures the free alcohol streams ceasely to Tanila. And because Tanila's passing out is largely Navasi's fault, Navasi will be sure to help Tanila get cleaned and ready to go before the mission restarts!!
With a wink and a smile, Navasi says, "Tanila, I totally got you! You're my GIRL!!! Dang you were so crazy last night trying to get up and dance on that blackjack table before you passed out! Don't you worry, I tipped the dealer and the pit manager so they didn't mind... In fact they're happy to have you back anytime!!"
phaeton_nz
|
Well ... it appears that no one got arrested although Delea seems to be rather tight lipped about what she was up to. It's always the quiet ones some entities say.
Anyway, wherever you are on the station, you enjoy a prime view of the dreadnought Talon’s Razor docking in the spaceport’s bay. As the Starfinders watch, a vesk brigadier dismounts from Talon’s Razor. She bears a cybernetic right eye and is dressed in a sharp, decorated military uniform. Her armoured mobility chair incorporates a holster on the right armrest for her doshko.
She pauses and inspects your ship. Pact Worlds travellers? she asks. You’re a long way from home. Unless... are you Starfinders, by any chance?

"Oh don't you worry Tanila. Nothing that'll result in us getting detained. Well, at least not before we wrap up our mission and exit the Veskarium anyways..."
Navasi avoids looking directly at Tanila and whistles innocently while wearing her signature mischievous grin...
Now I'm imagining Navasi and Tanila had some crazy side adventures in the spirit of The Hangover.
