Giggling at the playful swat of her bottom, Lysithia gives Kelda a look that tells her just how much better she was actually feeling. "Mmmnn..you aren't the only one getting ideas," Lysithia purrs, holding her love's gaze for a steamy moment before sighing.
"But you're right, we should get up and check on the others. And you're still hurt too. And after all that healing, I'm starving. We can always come back to...other ideas later." she says with a playful wink.

Glad to see Lysithia doing so much better, it makes Kelda's heart feel a little lighter, as well as igniting a deeper longing within her.
Kelda turns her smirk into a pout, "I guess that means we have to put our clothes back on huh? I guess I can be good until later, but then I'd really like to explore those other ideas....with you."
Sticking out her lower lip a little further she adds, "I know I'm still a little hurt, but I...I wanted to make sure you were okay first, and check on Tori, before I use any of my healing on myself. If she's okay, I promise to make myself better. I know we all need to be at full strength....and since I expect you to be honest with me, I won't tell you I'm fine if I'm not. Okay?"
Letting out a sad sounding little sigh of her own, Kelda begrudgingly pulls herself away from her love as she moves around the room, practically dragging her feet as she's picking up her clothes from where she dropped them the night before. She lets out an occasional little sigh as she slowly starts to get dressed, looking over her shoulder every now and then at Lysi as she does so.
Lysithia Pasiphae
Reluctant as well, and enjoying the sight of Kelda as she gets dressed, Lysithia gets out of bed, and takes her time getting dressed, fully aware of Kel's little glances every now and then.
Kelda Highcliff
Once they're both ready, Kelda gives her love a kiss before holding the door open for her, "Come on luv, let's go see how the others are doing, and get something to eat." Kelda shuts and locks the door behind them, before following Lysithia to the eating area.
She greets Astoria as they join her at the table, "Good morning Astoria, how are you feeling?" Kelda asks as she looks from Astoria, to the Inn Keeper, and wonders if anything was wrong.
Smiling up at the man, "Good morning Sir, I hope you are well this morning. Breakfast sure does smell good." She says, taking a seat at the table.

Kelda looks from the cute furry critter nibbling on the bread, back to the Inn Keeper and smiles, "He has good taste. I'll take whatever kind of juice you might have, and some water please?"

"I'm sorry about that, I guess no one ever taught the fellow some table manors." Astoria answers the innkeeper. "Juice sounds lovely sir, I'll have the same."
She turns to her traveling companions as they sit for breakfast. "Good morning you two, I'm a bit sore still but otherwise doing fine. How about you? I hope your night wasn't too strenuous."
Kelda Highcliff
Kelda blushes slightly, "I'm just glad that I could help you feel better. I can't stand seeing you in pain." Lifting one of Lysithia's hands to her lips, she gives it a brief, but tender kiss before turning her attention to Astoria.
Giving their companion and her furry friend a warm smile, "We were fairly exhausted, so once we got cleaned up, it didn't take long to pass out. After healing Lysi this morning, I decided to wait and see if you needed any healin', before I worried about healin' myself."
Kelda pauses for a moment as she notices how torn up and stained with blood their clothes were, "Our clothes are fairly ruined with all the blood and rips from those little savages, so I was thinkin' after we eat, maybe we can go shopping for some new ones?" She asks, wincing slightly as she tries to put an arm around her love.
Kelda Highcliff
Kelda looks a little bewildered as she picks up the piece of paper and opens it, "Oh really? I wonder why he would just take off like that." She wonders aloud while reading the note.
Kelda Highcliff
Kelda shakes her head as she passes the note to Lysithia and Astoria, "He's blaming himself for not being able to keep us safe. It wasn't his fault...he was actually doing the most damage to those little jerks....but, he just left. I hope he's okay...." Kelda gets quiet and sips on her juice.
Lysithia Pasiphae
"Hmm...I'm sorry he took that on himself. It's more dangerous going it alone. I hope he takes care of himself." Lysithia says, looking over the note.
Kelda Highcliff
Kelda nods, "Yeah, he seemed pretty capable though. We can't do much about it now, so the best thing we can do is just keep moving forward. Who knows what's gonna happen next, but whatever happens...the three of us have each other. Besides, this seems like a pretty busy road...no telling who might happen along. I mean, we're gonna be here for a couple of days while we recover....so maybe we'll find someone that's interested in helping out? I don't know....maybe it's just the hunger talking." She says, feeling a little nervous about going out and dealing with the green menace with just the three of them.
Kelda Highcliff
Kelda makes a plate for Lysithia before getting some food for herself. She looks over at the innkeeper and the table of papers as she eats the filling breakfast, "I wonder what all those papers are about." She comments, gesturing to the table with the papers spread all over it and the innkeeper as he seems to bed studying them intently.
Kelda Highcliff
Shrugging slightly, "I don't know....but my curiosity is gettin' the better of me. I think I'll wander over there after we're done eating, and ask." She says between bites of the delicious breakfast. Having forgotten her half healed wounds for the time being, Kelda helps herself to seconds as they enjoy the meal together.
Kelda Highcliff
After finishing off her second helping with a contented sigh, Kelda excuses herself from the table, and wanders over to where the innkeeper is looking over the papers.
After clearing her throat so as not to startle him she asks, "Thank you for breakfast. I don't think we ever got your name the other evening when we came in. I was also a little curious about all these papers you've had spread out here since yesterday evening, and wondered if they had anything to do with the gobblin's disturbing behavior as of late?"
Kelda Highcliff
From somewhere deep inside her, a low growl comes up into her throat. Shaking her head as her hands tighten into fists, "Those little green bas+ards seem to get bolder by the day. We were supposed to be in Cooperton at least 2 days ago, but every time we turn around, we're getting attacked by either bandits or those little savages. We've managed to kill a few...but not near enough."
The frustration clear in her voice she looks up at him, "I just thought that if those papers gave any clues....if there was anything that might help us fight them more effectively, it would be a good thing to know."
Kelda Highcliff
Hearing the tone in his voice takes the anger out of her. Letting a sigh out of her own, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to get so upset. It's just so frustrating feeling like no matter what we do it's not enough to stop them....so far, we haven't even been able to do much without having our butts handed to us in the process. It's almost like some unseen force doesn't want us to make it to Cooperton."
Pausing for a moment to gather her thoughts and take a couple deep breaths she adds, "Their raids are too planned out, too organized. I don't remember ever hearing of goblins being this deliberate in their movements. I feel like there is much more to this than we could possibly imagine. Something....sinister and more intelligent than I like in something so evil."
Looking over at Lysithia and Astoria she gets a small smile on her face, "No matter what we must face though, I will NOT give up without a fight. This valley is my home and I refuse to see it torn apart, and I will die before I just allow something to come in and destroy everything we have worked so hard to achieve....and hurt those I care about."

She shakes her head, "I wasn't trying to make a speech, it's just how I feel. We're not going to be able to do much with just the three of us though. Maybe we will visit this Rusty Pike place. Is it near here?"
Kelda Highcliff
Kelda shrugs, "Well, regardless....it's how I feel, but we can't do it on our own...no one individual can. So, thank you for that information and once I get healed up a little more, we'll probably head that way. No telling what else we'll run into on the way."
Giving him a nod she heads back over to Lysithia and Astoria, "Well, not a lot to find out except that a couple of supply wagons went missin' from Varota, and there's a place a little ways to the north and off the beaten path where we might be able to find some help. It's about four hours from here though, so we need to be ready for anything."
Kelda Highcliff
Since Astoria seemed to be alright, Kelda puts her hands on herself and asks Torag for strength and healing so she could continue to defend her home.
The power of Torag compels you!: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Letting out a sigh of relief as the rest of her wounds close up and heal completely, "Aahh yes, that feels much better."
Looking back at Lysithia and Astoria she asks, "So, should we see what the rest of this place has to offer and wait for our spells to be restored tomorrow, or should we just head North now and see if we can find this Rusty Pike place?"
Lysithia Pasiphae
"Given the likelihood of running into trouble, maybe having access to all of your magic might be a good thing." Lysithia says after a moment of consideration. "Set out fresh tomorrow so that we have the most of the day to make it to where we need to be."
Kelda Highcliff
Kelda nods thoughtfully, "Yeah...you both make very good points, and we do seem to run into trouble every time we try to go anywhere. Okay, we'll just take a look around here today, and head North in the morning. Duncan said it was about four hours from here, and 'off the beaten path, whatever that means." Kelda looks down at her ripped and stained clothing, "Hey, since we're going to be here today anyways, do you guys wanna look around? Maybe see if we can get a change of clothes?"
Kelda Highcliff
Kelda looks over at Astoria, "Would you like to come with us Astoria?" She wanted to make sure that Tori knew she was welcome to join them. She didn't ant to make her feel excluded.
Kelda Highcliff
Thinking that Astoria hadn't heard her, Kelda gently nudges her arm.
With a look of concern she asks, "Are you alright Tori? I was asking if you wanted to go shopping with us, but you didn't answer."
Kelda Highcliff
With a smile she nods, "Alright, let's see what this place offers."
Once they're all finished with breakfast, Kelda holds the door for Lysi and Tori, before following them outside and looking around.
Kelda Highcliff
I think it's pretty safe to say that since we're not in a hurry, we're gonna be taking 20 on our search of the town to see what kinds of goods and services they might be able to provide us with.
Kelda Highcliff
I'm sorry, I forgot what was there.
Looking around at the small hamlet and not seeing much she lets out a disappointed little sigh before mustering a smile, "Well, I guess the only place we can really look for anything would be the General Store. Let's go see what they have." Even though the place they are in is relatively "safe", Kelda still wears her hammer on her back.
As they pass by the Dwarven guards that are speaking to the halfling, Kelda raises an arm in greeting, "Good mornin' ta ye."
I'm not good at hearing the Dwarven accent in my head, so it's hard for me to pull it off.
GM Henry Fortuna
They give Kelda and the others a nod in acknowledgement, obviously focused on talking to halfling. The halfling is dressed in dark clothing, covered in dirt, grass and blood. "...found six last night, managed to clear them out. I'll let Duncan know what I've seen."
The dwarves nod solemnly before heading off. The halfling heads towards the inn, hand on a rapier by his side.
Kelda Highcliff
Kelda stops as she overhears the end of the conversation. Looking at Lysi and Astoria she nods, "Should we continue on to the general store, or find out what he saw? It sounded pretty important.
Lysithia Pasiphae
"It might definitely be worth looking into." Lysithia says, considering the question. "The store will still be there in an hour or two."
Kelda Highcliff
After getting inside, Kelda tries to find them a place to sit as close to where Duncan and the halfling are talking as possible, while trying not to look too conspicuous.
GM Henry Fortuna
As the halfling heads over to Duncan, his mannerisms indicate that he's aware of the group. He leans towards the innkeeper. "I'll take my key and get cleaned up. I've got some news for you."
Duncan looks from the halfling to the trio sitting at a nearby table. He simply nods and hands the halfling a key. The diminutive fellow then heads to the washroom.
