George 09-23 tries to carefully edge himself out of the corner while keeping his defences up.

Although barely able to keep his feet, the vesk mercenary swings his doshko again in a powerful sweep! Kaath leaps back just in time, but George 09-23 takes a crushing blow to the abdomen!

The vesk is trying to Cleave again, starting with George 09-23 and if succesful, on to Kaath

George gets hit and takes 17 P (crap, max damage!). The Cleave misses Kaath.

Scruffy takes a guarded step forward to keep the vesk from flanking Kaath.


Robert-0's visual sensors get confused and stab a hologram, disrupting it! "Stupid thing!" shouts the assassin. The ysoki brings out a survival knife, switches to a two-handed overhand grip, and bring it straight down onto the drone! Sparks and electrical surges race along the top of the badly damaged construct.

Robert-0 "popped" a clone with its attack, and then got hit by a crit. It takes 13 S.

Another punishing blow from Kaath smashes into the vesk--he wobbles, teeters, but doesn't drop!

This vesk is so badly hurt, a sharp feather would take him down.


The vesk responds by using his ebbing strength to swing that doshko for all he's worth, slamming it into two Starfinders with a single sweep!

Attempting a Cleave, starting with Kaath and (if successful) continuing on to Scruffy.

Both attacks hit. Kaath, you take 12 P. Scruffy, you take 16 P.

@George: I'm assuming you spend a RP to stabilize. On the next round, if you so desire, you can spend another RP to "get back in the fight."

Okay, as per the Discussion thread, I have gone back and checked whether any PCs were adversely affected by the incorrect use of Cleave with an Unwieldy weapon. The vesk missed entirely in rounds 1 & 2, and missed on its second attack in round 3. But it did hit with a second attack in round 4. So Scruffy, please give yourself back the 16 P you shouldn't have taken.


@TK423: Because the sniper has her back to a wall, the 15' radius of the grenade would catch Scruffy's drone in the blast and would constitute prohibited PVP unless Scruffy consents. Do you have a different action you could select?

George 09-23 suddenly springs back to consciousness. With a start he gets to his feet and promptly retreats back to the smoker room with Bordle at least for now.

One resolve point well spent. :)


The remaining vesk warrior doesn't look like the type to back down! She cracks her knuckles as she comes through the door and takes a wild swing!

The best way I can square the vesk's tactics with the rules is to have her use Cleave with an unarmed attack. It still packs a punch! (pun!)

Scruffy's energy shield takes most of the damage before sputtering out. The vesk's claws still give scruffy a scratch. throwing caution to the wind Scruffy fires twice.

The vesk gets grazed by the reroll, but the AoO hits Scruffy and does 8 S.

Director Ebaki hit (even with the vesk having soft cover), but also only did 1 point of damage.
