Borkinhaf looks at the device, tracing the various mechanisms into the northern wall just as Bruna calls out about the creatures in that room. She looks Bruna, then back at the device. She then points at Bruna and mouths about the monsters and moves his fingers the the wall, then points at the device and up to the same wall… she casually pulls the lever and says Oops! and listens for what happens, a slight sadistic glee on her elven face.

Borkinhaf sets the lever to the "active" position. But she doesn't hear anything coming from the big room. The rogue knows all about traps though! She realizes that the trap in the other room is *probably* proximity related. Move to a certain area and it'll trigger.

Slorol will follow Borkinhaf around as she looks for the trigger. He'll have his shield raised and longsword out. He gestures to others to be around the corner if they want cover.

The trigger to activate the trap is *probably* in the big room, not the small room you are currently in.

"Big room" being the room with the Abadar scales? Or a big room to the north of where we are now?

"Big room" is the unexplored room to the north with the kobolds

What do you guys do now?

I think maybe a good time to retreat and rest up? Seems like we're heading to the last room? Is there another level?

Bruna believes this is the last room on this floor.

There is only one room left on this floor (the "big room" with traps and kobolds and things). Once you finish that room, you'll get a PFS2e Chronicle sheet (if you want one). Then there is a lower level that's roughly the same size, but may be a bit harder.

Do you want to go in now or rest beforehand?

Borkinhaf inspects the device, wondering if there is a way to force it to trigger from in this room. perc: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22
Does anyone has a means of helping me with stealth? I think if we trigger whatever this trap is in that room, it will make things a lot easier for us to loot… I mean… confiscate their belongings.

Slorol doesn't have anything that recharges with rest (except hit points), so he's okay pushing forward. But he's more than okay with rest as well because he depends on everyone else.

Slorol can draw their attention, perhaps by running in, passing gas, and then running back out.

Let’s not be too hasty Slorol. Borkinhaf quips, You’re cute, but I don’t want you to getting hurt. A situation like this requires a subtle touch.

No way to trigger the trap from here. Seems like the only way to trigger it is in the "big room".

Borkinhaf quietly opens the door and peeks inside, looking for any sort of trigger to the device.
stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
trap finding: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
Awe crap, sorry guys

No sign of a trigger, but Borkinhaf does spot three kobolds. And they notice her as the door *squeaks* open! The massive chamber looks like it was once an audience hall. On the far side, a broad set of stairs leads up to where a throne might once have been. Pillars support the high ceiling, and the ruined tatters of once decorative banners still hang from them. A decorative tile pattern centered in the middle of the room shows through the grim coating of the floor.

Two of the kobolds (the red and yellow) look like the ones you just defeated! But the purple one holds a few traps in her side.

Bruna steps towards Slorol and casts Magic Weapon on his sword. Gaining a +1 item bonus to attack rolls and increasing the number of weapon damage dice to two.

Can we cast spells like Daze through the peep hole?

I'll say no as the peepholes are too small to properly aim your spells.

Bruna heads towards the fighter and touches his weapon. Slorol's sword glows dimly, pulsating with magics.

The kobolds spot you. "Intruders! You'll never get past us!" one of them yells. Instead of approaching the group, they back up, draw their weapons, and stand in front of the stairs going down.

Borkinhaf runs back to the trap, 'deactivates' it (not actually deactivating it), then running back. She exclaims the trap is deactivated.

"What's deactivated?". The purple kobold asks. "You mean this trap?". She starts laughing as she places a snare down next to her (pink circle).

It seems that the kobold might not know what trap Borkinhaf is talking about. Some could roll a Sense Motive check to sense her true intentions.

Choombolat works a spell of shielding, then strides forth, not deigning to seek cover, and invokes his mystic bow again, sending a force missile darting unerringly into the purple kobold leader.

Perhaps the sight of an enemy mage "unprotected" and in the open will be tempting enough bait to goad the kobolds into attack.

Or perhaps not? The wizard begins calling another, more powerful spell to mind...

Shield (AC 19, will use to block 5 damage if it becomes applicable), stride, force dart

1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Bruna sense that the kobolds have no idea what trap that Borkinhaf is talking about. It's likely they have never been in the room with the lever (otherwise it would have been looted long ago) as they never bothered with the Abadar mini-game. And since the trap was "deactivated" there wasn't evidence of a trap in the big room.

But Bruna sees the trap, only just barely. She knows that stepping anywhere within the outlined area (dashed yellow square), spears will shoot out of the western wall.

(@Choombolat, currently you are within the trapped area. Bruna would probably have warned you as you walk by. Do you want to move? Otherwise the trap will activate and target you. )

Choombolat moves up, casting a spell to protect him. Also, force bolt only has a range of 30 feet. The closest kobold is 40 feet away. Do you want to change your action?

The two kobolds near the stairs hold their position, readying to throw some spears if anyone approaches.

Bruna will indeed grab Choombolat and motion him to the safe area from where he can advance to cast his spell.

The whole center is trapped, and spears will come flyin' out from the west. I think maybe they'll go all the way to the scaled monsters up there. Maybe we can toss something heavy onto it to trigger it? We can move up the south wall and not trigger it.

Borkinhaf considers his options, to either leave his party behind and make an outright attack against the three, or bide her time. Such actions are not taken lightly, so she takes her 3rd option. These tiny lizards pose no threat, we eliminated there friends with barely a scratch. Let’s just leave and let them die down here from their own stupidity.
Intimidate check to taunt the lizards into chasing us: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18

Will move Choombolat out of the way of the traps. Will also let his Force Bolt hit, but reminder that he needs to get within range next time.

Bruna pulls out her shortbow and nocks an arrow. It flies right at the purple kobold. But she dodges out of the way and the arrow sticks in the floor at her feet.

Borkinhaf taunts the kobolds into coming forward to attack...

But the purple kobold sets down another snare instead. "We're not stupid. Plus, you're going to die down here, not us! I'd like to see you get through these traps!". She laughs as she places down the snare.

The other two kobolds look unsure though.

If anyone walks on (or flops on) to the yellow dashed square, they will shoot out of the wall. They will still hit you if you are prone unfortunately. Their range is short so will only target those within the square. Good idea though!

Oops. Forgot the range on the spell. Feel free to ignore the force bolt entirely, especially since it was only 2 damage. And yes, thank you Bruna and Mauve for adjusting my position and saving me from becoming a pincushion.

"We do indeed have the advantage at range. We have me."

Choombolat's eyes gleam as he begins working the more powerful spell he called to mind. Like his force-bolt spell, this spell conjures an enchanted bow, which the wizard bends to loose an unerring bolt of force. Unlike the force bolt, two wavering afterimages formed from light split off from Choombolat, one on either side, each perfectly mirroring his actions. The three Choombolats send not one but three force arrows darting for the purple leader before the wizard's ephemeral doubles fade away.

3 action Magic Missile: 3d4 + 3 ⇒ (2, 3, 2) + 3 = 10

Choombolat channels arcane energies. A mystical bow forms in his hands. Shadowy figures split off from the wizard as three Choombolats shoot! The kobolds gasp at the magical trickery. "Stop that tomfoolery! Surrender now!"

The kobold with the yellow scales stays put, guarding whatever is down the stairs. But the red one growls. "You'll pay for what you've done!!". He screams, runs over to the nearby ledge, and lobs his spear at Bruna, drawing a new one after he throws
