Mirtha always casts light on her holy symbol, which I believe lasts 24 hours.

Mirtha clutches her holy symbol to her breast, and snaps"I am not giving you my icon!" Then the anger in her face melts away as she realizes something and she says curtly, "But I can transfer the light from my icon to one of your possessions, Keemul." Mirtha closes her eyes and says a soft prayer as she touches the head of Keemul's hammer. The circus performer's oversized mallet is engulfed in an orange red flame that sheds light like a burning torch, despite being completely harmless and only slightly warm to the touch. Keemul also can't help but notice that the light has a faint but unpleasant sulfuric smell, similar to a burning tinderstick.

"Let Sarenrae light your way!" she whispers before he descends.

Arvax safely adds support in to the floors so alowing safer access to the hole, however, before Keemul jumps in, something start clawing out. More rotting husks burst from the floors of the main room and dinning room as well.

Keemul readies for the onslaught while Mirtha assess the situation.

These are all zombies and thus permanently slowed.
The bulk of them are zombie shamblers, which are weak to slashing and good damage.

The odd one is a plague zombie and can infect someone with zombie rot if it hits them.

Although slow and easy to hit, not that easy as the volley of arrows and bolts fly past the creatures.

Katami tries to get the attention of the plague zombie, but they are mindless and just slouch towards you.

The green one climbs out and swings at Keemul

Arvax quickly reload the crossbow. "Go away zombies. No one asked you to come.". Then the hobgoblin heads back to the back of the room - away from the zombie. With a closer look, Arvax studies the plague zombie (purple), then lets a crossbow bolt loose.

@GM - I think Mirtha's token never got moved. She indicated she was moving to the center of the group, but is still in the hall entry to the main hall. I think if she were to have moved, then the zombies would be against Mikaela.

I was wondering why she was till out there. I have updated the map, the are at the door swinging though to Mikaela. But since they did not hit no major changes.

Vanak can't seem to hit the broadside of a slow zombie today.

Katami does a little better hitting twice with some heroic effort, with the slicing fan taking off larger chunks.

Arvax's bolt also sinks in to the larger zombie. But it is still up

Yes, my intention was to move Mirtha into an open space in the center of the group, but I don't thing the slides saved moving my token. I'm fine where Mirtha is at now.

”Knives you say, huh?” Vanak shouts in Mirtha’s direction Time for the butter knife, then… he thinks as he drops his bow and draws the Falchion that is strapped to his back. ”You’ve got Katami?” he asks Mirtha and jumps into the fray before he gets an answer.

”You’re next.” Vanak says quietly at the zombie that was trying to get a piece of Arvax, before he slashes at it twice.

Looks like Vanak might have already taken out my target. If so, I'll move into the dining room and flank with Keemul instead.

Mikaela sidestepped to put the nearest zombie between her and Arvax, then dove in with both knives, slashing at flesh and tendons.

Bolstered by Mirtha's divine strike, Keemul smashes the green zombie to pulp, but slips a little and does not connect after moving up to the yellow zombie.

Arvax then takes a shot on the zombie that down Katami and critically impoldes that zombie.

Vanak and Mikaela then quick finish the last one in a flurry of blades and barbs.

Katami lies unconscious but stable on the ground.

Thanks! I wasn't expecting that last strike... congrats for taking down the zombies.

She stands up, takes her weapon back and looks around. Lets finish this mission and look for clue.
