I feel like I should wait to see what the GM gives as a result to my checks before reporting if we're on course or not.
I mean, they were decent rolls, but I could report that we're on course and be wrong. Or, we could be way off course, but I don't know yet.

A general ship layout question...
Would you imagine our stations are all in the same room like the bridge? It seems like in a ship this size they would be, like the Rocinante on The Expanse. I just wanted to make sure I'm on the same page with everyone.
Elton might have a better map for the ship in mind, but here's the one I worked up from the Hikari map Ryan Wolfe made. It's what I've been picturing while writing if it helps.

the missles only have five shots in a given combat, but they can hit everything in an arc but only in the front. They’re the better bet at long rage. The gyrolaser can fire in any direction, but it only has a 5 hex range. Go with the missles.

So, I think I’m supposed to wait for the Helm phase to post an action. Not sure if I should try to Evade or Slide to try and get the drones in the forward firing arc.

It is common knowledge that they exist. But the details require a culture check. That is, some details is covered by the campaign, but the rest is up to the GM.

Nuri- remember the ship always gives you a +1 to piloting.
Also, Jahn, since shooting as an array gives you a -4 penalty, I vote you use the extra +1 bonus the computer gives us this turn to lower that threshold.

I've been a little confused too about the order and just jumping in when it seemed like it might be the right time. I forgot there is a set order of actions by station for starship combat.
Since I wasn't the only one confused, here is a cheat sheet:
AT ANY TIME: Captain actions. (Demand, Encourage, Taunt)
PHASE 1: Engineering (Divert Power, Hold it Together, Patch) Simultaneous, both combatants.
PHASE 2: Helm [Pilot and Science Officer.]
Pilot: (Fly, Maneuver, Stunt) Lowest piloting check result moves first.
Science officer: (Balance, Scan or Target) Can act immediately before or after the pilot.
PHASE 3: Gunnery. Gunners act in the same order that the pilots acted, but damage is resolved after all ships fire. [/b]

I'm not sure what round we are in. I've acted twice. I'm going to assume with the attack roll of the drone there we are finishing round 2 and now starting round 3, just to get us on track.

I think, given my roll, that I was successful in attempting to Evade. (Not totally sure my calculations are correct for the DC. ) If so, the Breeze gets a +2 circumstance bonus to AC and TL, for a total of 15 AC and 14 TL, so it might have missed.

Yes. I haven't been checking in on the map to see if we were able with the short range. If we can, by all means fire those guns.

I wasn't aware of the Magic Officer role or the Chief Mate role until today. I was listening to Androids and Aliens (Starfinder podcast) and they mentioned it. Huh. Good on Paizo for finding a way to work in two major character roles that don't have a natural fit in the original ship to ship combat skills.
I picked up the Armory for Christmas :) Those biotech Cronenburg looking weapons are some pretty sweet art.
EDIT: We have to get close now to finish the fight, but we won't take a -4 so that's gonna help a lot. Jahn is taking over on gyrolaser I assume.
