Wanting to eat kobolds the dragon would definitely do the damage and take the enfeebled.
Bariel offers Ssalarn a glimspe of his fate as the dragon seems to subconsciously hold back just enough to not immediately kill the young kobold whelp.
Glimpse of Redemption saves you from massive damage
Seeing Tiptip go down causes the rest of the group to go into a frenzy as Bariel slips his trident into the serpents body and Mordack batters it with magical missiles from afar.

Wincing as Tiptip drops, Rafe grits his teeth as he casts from his previously-drawn scroll of Shattering Gem on Lenore. (2)
Whispering, "be careful...but go!" Rafe commands Lenore to attack! (1)
| Lenore - Renfield |
Lifting off to help protect Renfield and his friends, Lenore flies/strides (1) to the closest place she can, and then makes a strike! (1)

The Eratuki chokes on the wyrm's belch and stumbles back from the threat. He makes a sign with one hand and prays, "Pulura, please intervene to save this hunter."
Ephemeral blue and green lights hover over the kobold as his wounds are healed.

A small gem swirls around Lenore for protection as the bat bites at SSalarn. Given the opportunity Qigiq kneels down and tends to the nearly killed kobold. Tiptip's eyes flutter open as he rolls to his feet defensively looking around for what happened

Qigiq considers the situation. With a glance between the ravaged kobold and the distant dhampir, he makes a choice for offense. "You are a danger to travelers in this harsh land," he says while making a sign in the air. Blue and green flames dance across the wyrm's scales and then he thrusts his spear toward his prey.

Bariel's anger finally gets the best of him and he yells at the beast through chattering teeth, "F-f-foul creature! T-t-twice Gozreh has granted you a v-vision of a p-path you could walk! A p-path of goodness and k-kindness, and not of evil. And t-twice you have rejected this to attack people who only c-came to talk and entreat with you. Now you shall, unfortunately, have to pay for you lack of remorse."

Tiptip

Tiptip tries to play that he has been mortally wounded again trying to get the hungry wyrm to take his attention away, only to strike out at the last moment.
◈ Feint (mental)
Requirements: You are within melee reach of the opponent you attempt to Feint.
Deception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25 vs target's Perception DC
Critical Success: You throw your enemy’s defenses against you entirely off. The target is flat-footed against melee attacks that you attempt against it until the end of your next turn.
Success: Your foe is fooled, but only momentarily. The target is flat-footed against the next melee attack that you attempt against it before the end of your current turn.
Critical Failure: Your feint backfires. You are flat-footed against melee attacks the target attempts against you until the end of your next turn.
Assuming that works, TipTip strikes confidently at the wyrm.
◈ Confident Finisher - War Razor (Agile, backstabber, deadly d8, finesse)
1st Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
Damage (Slashing): 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Backstabber: +1 precision damage vs a flat-footed target.
Precision Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 6) = 9
Critical: Additional Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 7
Failure: Deal half the precision damage to the target.

Rafe Marcus Renfield III

Renfield winces again as Tiptip is struck once more, cursing because without the society's loaned items he doesn't have much in the way of healing on his person. Hoping to end this quickly, he fires a Produce Flame cantrip (2)...
Produce Flame: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21 (possible partial cover?)
Fire Damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
(Crit: Double damage & 1d4 persistent F)

Ssalarn falls before the flurry of attacks. Having defeated the tatzlwyrm you remove it's head as proof to be able to claim your bounty. Returning to Aaminiut, Elder Seshu and Bjorn are a bit surprised and quite pleased. They look over the several wounds that Tiptip bears. "Looks to have been some battle. Come tell us all about it over a pint." You receive a sack of carvings and silver jewelry worth 16 gp that Aaminiut has gathered to pay for the bounty.
That is the end of the bounty. I will work on finishing chronicles here today and have them out to you this evening. Hope you all enjoyed the game. Please feel free to continue roleplaying if you wish to.
Bariel Salvus
|
Bariel sits down on a pub bench, heavily. "Please forgive my earlier taciturn behavior, friends. The climate here is so different from my home, and I obviously didn't outfit myself properly." He turns to Tiptip. "I've never seen one of your kind, little one. I've met many Iruxi, of course, but few of them ever fought as valiantly as you did today. Are you certain you're all right? I wonder why the beast seemed to have such antipathy towards you? Anyone have any ideas?"
Qigiq "White Hawk"
|
"No, but that was a fierce beast," Qigiq says. "It is a good thing that we removed the threat of it from travelers and hunters."
Thanks, Tyranius!
Mordack Dune 5
|
Yes, a great beast indeed, how dare such a beast not be affected by my sleep spell. And I'm out of spell slots, with the exception of cantrips just to take out one creature. So it must have been tough. You can see the expression on Mordack's face like he believes it to be true, very serious like, and you can see a sigh of relief from him.
Tiptip
|
"I am fine, Bariel. He was mad that he was not a real dragon. You see, kobolds tend to bow down to real dragons, so when I didn't immediately fall at his feet he gets angry because I am saying he is not a real dragon."
Rafe Marcus Renfield III
|
"I am just glad you are all alright...as Qigiq said, that creature was indeed fierce, even if it was no true dragon. Well done, everybody."
