Hekk for one will wait to see the results of the invisibility purge before he takes his actions.

Sorry, y'all. Last week of school here and I'm up to my eyeballs in work. Should be able to update today sometime.

Do not worry GM!! :-D

For rolls like concealment I use the text to guide me. For example if it says, like in blur, that there is a 20% chance of a miss then I roll a d100 and on a 1-20 you miss. So good or bad is not necessarily high or low. Takes the guess work out of it and having players all decide what their target range is differently. Doesn't work for spells like mirror image though which has no such text.

Ok Heroes, I head out of town tomorrow for another vacation in the lands of "wifi is very spotty if at all."
I should definitely be back online next Saturday, the 24th. Keep me alive until I return!
Aryas Katsu

I’m also on vacation next week. :-)
Hekk

I will be on vacation too (Thus-Mon). I'm pretty good at keeping up while vacationing but there are two 10+ hour drives involved so I may not be able to respond promptly at times.

i put up my post assuming we were going the route of BS. if you guys would rather take a different tack, we can discuss it.
Hekk

I expected BS and I got BS.
Aryas Katsu

Ha ha! :-D
Totally agree!
Leopold R. Bibbard

Maybe someday we can make that happen.
Tathane Halfbarrel

Yeah, that would be fun. I bet we're all over the globe geographically.
Maybe it would be at a PaizoCon or GenCon.
Or, since Cons don't happen all the time and it is likely most of us would have to travel significant distances, we might consider a VTT session or two.
| GM MattMorris |
That could be fun! I'll definitely keep in in mind as I think about what to do after this campaign is over.

Leo affects a very regal pose at the prow of the boat, (a bit like Washington crossing the Delaware) and greets the dock guards with the air of a visiting dignitary.
Having taken 10 for a 20 on linguistics and having cast Tongues on the boat ride over, Leo presents a Writ of Transit to the guards.
"Greetings, my good fellows. It is I, Leopold Bibbard, Keeper of the Nine Gates, Centurion X23, former commodore of the Andoran submarine fleet, inventor of the Big Mac, and author of Diatribics. Can you direct my entourage to the Forsaken Fane?"
I take 10 on Bluff for a 45.
I am rereading this and again am laughing my butt off!! :-D

Will post tomorrow as work is hell at the moment on the planning!

I also appreciated that Leo welcomed the shadow into his heart while the rest of us fought it off. Shows that it is not just a schtick but that you really have a deeper personality in mind for Leo.

@Branson
At a run we can all make it to the gates in one turn if we run. Most of the ballista do not have line of sight if we are up against the gate. I think that is the best bet for round 1. After that I think the stone shape will get us out of harms way the fastest.

A lot of my 1e PCs were stuck at about the same level range when we started playing together. But Leo was my favorite and I'm glad he got another run with such a great group.
Hekk

I think the invisibility sphere is the best option.
Hekk

@Leo
Go ahead and post something IC if you want to divert the juggernaut. To me is it a six of one, half dozen of the other situation whether we go north, northeast, or northwest.

I am also sorry for my lack of posting ... I have a little bit of difficulty to get into Aryas shoes currently.

Sorry, guys! I went back to the office this week (so to speak) and the new covid rules, plus a much longer commute than I was doing before and the week went by in a blur. Me and Leo are back!

How do we feel about hovering dragons full attacking? This guy has the hover feat.
Anyone have a rules reference? I could see either way.
Hekk
|
I think it makes sense, though I have no idea what the rules say on the subject.
Leopold R. Bibbard
|
I think a dragon can do it. The bestiary specifically says that only a dragon can make wing buffets while flying. There'd be no need to ever do that unless you can make a full attack.
On the other hand, I remember a VC saying that there was an official ruling stating that flying/hovering was an action. I can't find it so, up to you.
Hekk
|
If anyone has a potion of fly or a spell, please feed it/cast it on Aryas or this battle is likely to go bad.
| GM MattMorris |
I think it's going great. :)
Lol, at least this feels like a dragon fight. You folks cut through most opposition like a chainsaw.
(No hard feelings, obviously! Hopefully everyone if having fun with it.)

Make him fly! I'd rather get Aryas into the fight than be at full HP.

Sh**t, sorry GM! I posted early again! :-(
Please revolve during my turn. :-/

While RAW is not clear, and people argue both sides of can you put Divine spells into that ring, and there is no general FAQ on the topic, there IS a FAQ on the topic for organized play.
SO! If there are any spells on the Cleric list that are ALSO on an arcane list, and you want it in that ring, let me know, and I'll be sure and cast it for you to witness.
Hekk
|
sounds good. I'll probably use a page of spell knowledge long term as it is cheaper. Though I'm not sure from reading it, but it may allow an arcane caster to case a divine spell. That would make it worth the extra cost.
There is some support for that idea, particularly when a normally divine spell is cast by an arcane caster (like a bard with CLW, or even better, a witch, which has lots of odd spells).
Hekk
|
How did they clarify?
Aryas Katsu

Of course!!
Happy holidays everyone!!

Hello everyone, my wife and I spontaneously decided to go on vacation tomorrow until January 10. So I’ll only be able to post properly after my vacation! Happy holidays to you all!!!
