Ukufa
Satisfied no immediate danger is forthcoming Ukufa steps from the shadows, giving Jon a curious look as she moves toward the heavy door;
"The rough dwarf should overcome this."
Bhru Angraddson
Bhru takes in a measured breath, finally feeling comfortable.
'No fear 'n the un'er ground lads an lasses. Might'n as well put a welcome home mat down fer me! hah!'
Bhru tests the door,
Is it obstructed at all? Or any resistance? If no resistance Bhru will head through. If resistance is met see below.
Bhru takes a few quick steps before putting his plate shoulder into the door...
Strength: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Kellan Ved
Kellan steps back but notices his elven companion attempting to lend a hand, and decides on giving the Dwarf some additional guidance to his obvious, built-to-order, intent.
Guidance cast on Bhru if it's not too late.
GM Fanguar
Door's not locked or jammed.
Bhru leans into the door and gives it a shove. It moves with a creak, on rusty hinges. The door opens on a long, narrow room. A few moldering remnants of broken crates rest against one wall. Closed double doors are set into the western and eastern walls.
Map updated. Link at the top.
Bhru Angraddson
Bhru leads the way, his eagerness for adventure outweighing any potential sense of danger.
Will step into the room and head west.
'Any one got a preference?'
The dwarf tests the door.. if no resistance he will open it.
Ukufa
Ukufa bids them hold as she pauses by Bhru's shoulder and listens...
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
If nothing untoward is heard she'll give the dwarf the nod to press on
Kellan Ved
Kellan is happy to let the hardy Dwarf lead but takes a queue from his companions and listens as best he can.
Perception: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (12) - 1 = 11
Ukufa
Ukufa's stoic express remains as she whispers a warning;
"Ware. Guttural moaning. Three... sources... Maybe more."
As she speaks, the Jasdian huntress quietly swaps knife for her throwing chakram.
Spinnaker Jon
At the warning, Jon nodded. He let the Dancing Light go out, then concentrated casting the spell anew.
This time, he made it the form of a faintly glowing, vaguely humanoid shape.
Stepping up to Bhru, he whispered; "Open the door, i'll walk this fella through and draw their attacks first."
Bhru Angraddson
Bhru halts, then nods...
Preparing a bullrush for first spotted enemy if allowed.
The dwarf puts his boot to the door and kicks it open, preparing to rush in after Jon.
GM Fanguar
You open the door revealing a large chamber with great wooden pillars rising up to support the ceiling, which sags dangerously in places and is thick with hanging strands of fungus. Several doors line the walls. Map updated.
The stench of decay rolls out of the open door to wash over you. Inside you see the source of the moans, three moldering humanoid creatures shamble around room.
You can have a surprise round action (move or standard).
Ukufa: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Kellan Ved: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Spinnaker Jon: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Voronwe Elberion: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10
Bhru Angraddson: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (4) + 0 = 4
Katigar Gnidkilar: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Baddies: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (11) + 0 = 11
Combat Round 1
22 Kellan
22 Katigar
11 Zombies
10 Unkufa
10 Voronwe
9 Spinnaker
4 Bhru
Everyone can do their surprise round and then Kellan and Katigar are up.
Spinnaker Jon
Jon sung quietly under his breath as he caused his faintly glowing, vaguely humanoid shape to waltz right into the room and move directly across to the far wall (hopefully drawing the attentions of the walking dead.)
Bluff: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20

One of these must be relevant.
knowledge (arcana): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19

GM Fanguar
@Voronwe:Undead is Know(religion). The preservation of the zombies suggests that they are more than your run of the mill walking corpses. Their distended bellies and unusually shaped mouths makes you think that they might a variant known as the hungry dead; mindless undead with huge fang filled mouths driven by the need to feed. Their powerful bites allow them to latch onto their victims, tearing flesh free.
@Spinaker:I'll allow it in this case, but that's kind of pushing the limits of what that spell should do. Then again they are mindless zombies.
@Bhru: Dwarves have a max move speed of 20 feet.
Map has been updated. Kat can take her round 1 actions, Kellan has a surprise and round 1 actions, and Voronwe still has a surprise action.
Voronwe Elberion
I'm always wary of guessing what knowledge check, in case it's something like a construct or an outsider that looks undead.
Voronwe moves into the room behind his allies, "Undead, my spells won't work against them."
My only offensive spell is colour spray.
Kellan Ved
Ahhh sry crew! Surprise round I'll let fly with the crossbow.
Kellan sees a mark directly ahead as his allies rush the room and hurriedly looses a bolt.
Twang: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Dmg: 1d8 ⇒ 4
His bolt away Kellan doesn't waste time watching the result and completes his reload move action. With that being done and the undead still several yards away he casts Bless to aide his allies against the moaning undead.
Plus one to attack and against fear throws errybody!
Katigar Gnidkilar
Katigar squints devilishly at the target in front of her sizing it up masterfully before taking a swing,
taking move action to Study Target
She grins and brings her greataxe overhead is a dangerous arc,
Great Axe: 1d20 + 1 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 1 + 5 = 23
Dmg: 1d12 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
GM Fanguar
@Kellan: Like half of the party would be out of line of sight for that bless. Instead of retconning everything. I'm just going to use your move action to move you into the room, instead of reloading.
@Spin: Oh I hear you, but I'm just a bit leery of having lower level spell effects mimic higher level ones. In this case, it feels more like a silent image kind of play vs dancing lights.
Kellan's bolt flies true, striking a zombie illuminated by Jon's spell, but zombie takes minimal damage from the piercing weapon. Katigar's axe cuts deep, ravaging the undead flesh, but the creature does not fall.
One zombie shuffles after Jon's illusory figure and another closes in to the party. The creature struck by Katigar lets out a low moan and its jaw unhinges, revealing a maw of fanged teeth. It lunges in for a bite:
Bite vs Katigar: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
but misses.
The party is up. Everyone may act. You are free to move your own tokens, but if you can't/don't want to, just let me know and I'll do it.

Spinnaker Jon
Not liking the looks of these undead, Spinnaker Jon decides to shift the odds a bit.
He launches into the Battle of Evermore and uses his Bardic Inspiration to give his allies +1 morale bonus vs fear and charm, and +1 competence bonus to attacks and damage.
Ukufa
ROUND 1
From her vantage Ukufa shifts backward towards the corner of the hall (5ft. Step), then lets fly with her Chakram at the nearest zombie (Red?/Crimson?)
Ranged: Cold Iron Chakram (+Bardic Inspiration: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 5 + 1 = 16
Slashing Damage (+Bardic Inspiration): 1d8 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 3 + 1 = 6
She then draws her sharpest blade (Move Action - Draw MW Dagger)
Bhru Angraddson
Bhru takes a five foot step to the left before attempting to smash his Warhammer into the corpse,
'Eat blunt iron ye' rotten sack o' meat!'
Warhamma: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
DMG: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Katigar Gnidkilar
Katigar takes another swing,
Will hit the same target if not dead, if it is dead will move to attack something living undead
Swing: 1d20 + 2 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 2 + 5 = 11
Dmg?: 1d12 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Kellan Ved
Thankee GMF. I didn't realize I needed LOS... Is that a general rule or...? I didn't see it in RAW so figgered the ole divine shtuf went around corners.
After moving into position to cast his spell Kellan looks up to see the undead still moving forward despite the almost through and through bolt in it's chest. Without a better option he completes the reload and casts guidance on his half-orc companion. +1 on top of Bless Katigar
GM Fanguar
@Kellan: Bless is a burst centered on the caster. From my recollections, most spell effects can't pass through walls. Also guidance has a range of touch, so you can't use it on Katigar unless you move next to her.
Ukufa's chakram cuts into the undead with a satisfying thunk and causes enough damage to sever the foul magics that animate corpse. The spongy undead tissue of the zombie proves resilient to Bhru's blow, but does manage to do some damage. Katigar's powerful swing goes wide.
The zombie opens its fanged maw and bites at Bhru:
Attack Vs Bhru: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18 Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Making contact, the creature tries to latch on:
Grab: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24 and its jaw clamps down, trying to tear off flesh. Gnaw: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 Bhru is grappled.
The remaining zombie staggers towards the group.
Everyone is up.

Spinnaker Jon
Continuing the Ballad, Jon maintained his Bardic Inspiration to give his allies +1 morale bonus vs fear and charm, and +1 competence bonus to hit and damage.
Moving past his allies, he got into a flank position with mister yellow in the middle.
He lashed out at mister yellow with is rapier.
Spinnaker Jon
rapier flank attack: 1d20 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 1 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 25 for a possible 1d6 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 1 + 1 + 2 = 8 piercing damage.
If applicable... ...Crit confirm?: 1d20 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 1 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 23 for a possible extra 1d6 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 1 + 1 + 2 = 8 piercing damage.
Ukufa
ROUND 2
As she fells one of the risen dead, Ukufa moves to intercept another, moving calmly along the dungeon wall then to where Bhru is menaced (30ft Move Action)
Acting quickly, she jams her blade deep into the nape of the zombie's rotten neck;
Melee (Flanking vs Red): MW Dagger: 1d20 + 5 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 5 + 2 + 1 = 28
Crit Confirm? MW Dagger: 1d20 + 5 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 5 + 2 + 1 = 12 Bah probably not enough
Damage (P&S): 1d4 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 2 + 1 = 4
Crit Damage if that lucky: 1d4 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 2 + 1 = 5
Bhru Angraddson
ROUND 2
Bhru struggles with the beast and tries to punch his way to freedom,
'BLEH! Git off me ya meat puppet!
-4 to attacks while grappled right?
PUNCH: 1d20 + 5 - 2 ⇒ (19) + 5 - 2 = 22
Spiked Gauntlet: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Edit: Ah -2, i think a hit anyway... also -5 hps for me
Katigar Gnidkilar
ROUND 2
Katigar uses the momentum of the missed attack to strike again,
I'm not sure if yellow is grappled or red?
Swing: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 5 + 1 = 7
GM Fanguar
Bhru is at 3/13 Hp
@Ukufa: Close, but not quite. AC is 13
@Katigar/all: Yellow is the grappler, red is the one that Kellan shot.
Spinnaker Jon runs the foul undead through, piercing its heart, but unfortunately, it's a heart that no longer beats. Ufuka deftly slices up the second zombie, while Bhru lands a solid blow on the zombie trying to eat his face. The creature feels no pain from the punctures, but he still does some damage. (@Bhru: you forgot the bardic inspiration, but I factored it in)
Voronwe and Kellan can still both act, let's see if they can save Bhru from being eaten alive.
Y: 2/16
R: 8/16
Kellan Ved
Achhh sorry folks... Thought I'd responded already and work has been... the worst. Sorry GMF I've been preoccupied posting again, better re read the spells...
Kellan sees Voronwe move to aid the grappled dwarf with a spell and decides his brand may be more effective than the bolt still sticking out of the zombie he fired on originally. Hoping to free the Dwarf he moves up as well and lays a hand on the zombie grappling with his companion.
I hope there's room next to Bhru and Katigar...
Boop(Touch): 1d20 - 1 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (10) - 1 + 1 + 1 = 11
Fire Dmg: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
GM Fanguar
@Kellan: Yup no worries. For my part, I keep forgetting about your misfortune ability.
Voronwe sooths the worst of Bhru's injuries and Kellan steps up to sear the zombie's flesh. The acrid scent of burnt flesh fills the air and the creature loosens it grip, falling to the floor.
The remaining zombie retaliates against Ukufa:
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Misfortune: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
The foul creature lunges at the Touv woman, but slips on the slick floor and its teeth only scrape against her armour.
Everyone is up.
Spinnaker Jon
Continuing the Ballad, Jon maintained his Bardic Inspiration to give his allies +1 morale bonus vs fear and charm, and +1 competence bonus to hit and damage.
Hustling around his allies, he got into a flank position with mister red in the middle.
He lashed out at mister red with is rapier.
rapier flank attack: 1d20 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 1 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 8 for a possible 1d6 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 1 + 1 + 2 = 5 piercing damage.
Ukufa
ROUND 3
Ukufa mirthlessly jams her dagger through the chin of the gnashing deader;
Melee (MW Dagger + Bardic Inspiration): 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 5 + 1 = 14
Damage (P&S+Bardic Inspiration): 1d4 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 2 + 1 = 7
Kellan Ved
That sorta makes two of us, hah!
Wow, that worked fantasticly! Kellan looks at his hand and again at the crossbow, one clearly more effective in his mind. Better roll with the hot... hand... heh heh
Moving to flank the last biter with the Touv woman (currently stabbing at the moaning corpse), Kellan again reaches out hoping to extend his brand...
Boop(Touch): 1d20 - 1 + 1 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (7) - 1 + 1 + 1 + 2 = 10
Fire Dmg: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
