Thanks for doing this adventure Aerondor. I'll get you information soon. Quirk is busy with the special in Outpost right now, but I believe he'll be done in time if you are planning on running this after things wrap up there.

To be clear, Quirk won't necessarily be participating in Paizocon, though if this takes place after Paizocon, I might see about him being in a game there.

Working on prep for PaizoCon Online, but I will get this filled in by Tuesday.

Are we going to have a problem when combat occcurs? I am concerned since we have zero full BAB characters and three operatives. Hopefully all the operatives have different specializations.

My profile is mostly up to date. The information for his summons is fully up to date and I copy it into another profile when I summon a creature.

I know it is kind of unheard of in society play... but there is the smallest chance of a fight during at least one of the encounters.

And because sarcasm doesn't come across well on line... I can assure you that this is not the Starfinder version of Bid for Albastrine. Although there is a lot of good story in here and lots of chance to have some fun roleplaying.

Ivok will be joining us, so we should have a frontliner!

Ivok's only good skill is his Athletics, but he can help support/aid on Culture, Diplomacy, and Engineering. All Hireling Allies looks great to me.

I could take on an skill ally to help as well, but if anyone else does have an ally my Efficient Administrator would give the ally a +4 insight bonus on skill checks (and some bonuses for combat related numbers). I don't want to push anyone into an ally, but if this is a good excuse for any ally I'll slot this as long as it affects one person. If not I have other ally boons I can slot.

I start with one less RP each day. I chose "coldblooded", so I get ER (cold) 5, and also -1 charisma.

Theoretically, if I can get my group all the through the three adventures, he can get rid of shadow corruption. This is my home "real life" group, so obviously it has taken a hit during the quarantine. We are planning to get together in July.

I will choose my final boons this weekend. Trying to get chores done, homework done and weekend actual work done. No rest! :(

@GM: I only realized the Year of the Scoured Stars boon existed in the SFS Guide last evening. Would it be alight if I spent 8 Fame to purchase that boon now and apply it immediately for +2 Int (ranks going into Life Science and learning Ysoki)?

Oh, I am well aware of that boon. I am just trying to consider which of my characters most needs the boon before applying it to one of them...

It is in the Season 2 guide. What it gives depends on how many of the Scoured Stars segments you have on your characters.

I still have a few segments to collect.

It is in the Season 2 Guide at the end of the purchasable faction boons, right after the tier 4 (capstone) boons for each of the factions. It grants various bonuses (like the one Rakdon mentions at the end of their post) depending on the number of segments you have collected (as a player, not just the character*).

* Although if I had realized that I probably would have been less aggressive about collecting on these segment boons on Ivok.

Just read the Scoured Stars boon. I have 5 segments so far on this PC. I will also be spending 8 Fame to get this boon. I will add +1 to my Fortitude save.

My other boons:

So, Scoured Stars isn't considered a Capstone boon? Which means I can still purchase the Wayfinder one for Max.

That is my understanding. I'm holding off getting the boon until I get the 8th piece.

If you get it now, you don't get the cumulative benefits? The way I read it is that you get the benefits now (as few as 4 segments) and then they build as you get more segments.

There is only one problem with holding off. The boon comes from doing Season 1 stuff, so I don't know it can be purchased when Starfinder Season 3 comes out. I had to get it purchased for at least one character in case the time to purchase it expires by season 3 and looking back I have all eight.

I take that to mean you get one benefit, they are not cumulative. You could buy it again, but it has to be for a diffferent character.

I was assuming if you buy the boon when you only have seven segments and you pick up the 8th, you wouldn't get the extra bonus, but re-reading that, maybe I have it wrong.

If it is one like the saving throws, perhaps it would grow when you get more of the segments. I don't know.

Otherwise, you choose one benefit with some of them needing a certain number of segments.

@Rakdon I know that I added my own icon to the map and I think that is the same for other people as well. It looks like the sixth icon is another variation of Quirk rather than an icon for Rakdon.

Yeah, that single color shirren is some artwork I had commissioned for Quirk. I know it's slightly confusing that it unfortunately can't match my icon from the Paizo boards, but I like to use this bit of special artwork.

None of the rolls seemed especially nasty aside the maybe their initiative rolls (and maybe Stealth?). The attack roll on Neon was high, but it seems as though that would have been the same result with a -15 penalty so I don't really feel that attack roll mattered. The damage rolls themselves seemed average.

You also have a far more charitable description of our SP following a surprise round volley.

I'm still rolling along with this and still offering trust. I looking forward to seeing how the our numbers hold up when it comes around to the lower end of initiative.
